OK-just a bit-well it started great-the baby I was taking care of got his heart transplant,but as I was sending him off,the Mom starts to cry and then I get sad too-since one baby had to die to give this one a chance to live-But he will do this heart proud!!!

as I get back from sending him off and settling parents for a long wait-the boy who got shot earlier this week in he neck(right next to my little guys room) -well he starts to die and 45minutes later is finally gone-the circle of life that goes round and round-it's just hard sometimes

I'll be glad when I change to just Neonatal ICU-not so much death/dying-just feeding growing!!!!

and the fact that I worked with one nurse who couldn't do any of the admission that came after all of this and left me with all her work to be done for the other patient she was assigned too-Along with my patient

and I also got to work with another nurse who really dislikes me and makes it obvious-(I took the position she wanted,I'm more senior-and she had to wait 6 months for another position to open up)

some people can just make a work day seem to drag by with their poor attitudes and lack of organization skills-Ughhh-OK I think I'm done-sorry if I depressed you

I did I promise!! But things didn't work out like I hoped they would! They told me I would be better off trying for next semester rather than this one. Since I still haven't gotten my settlement check yet, and the Fin aid office was CRAZY!!! the last day for registration is in 2 days, and I would have too much to do b4 then. So I guess when I get my check it's gonna go straight into the bank and stay there!

It took hours b4 I got to talk to the counsler, he told me I have to schedual to take the test I need to take, and all the spots are full. Then I tried to go to the Fin Aid office and the line just to sign in was down the hall!! But they did tell me if I wait for the next semester that I can come back in a few weeks and apply for Fin aid for then, then all I would have to do is take the test and register and I would be ready to go for Aug.

Well I opened the envelope and what do I find inside?? An awesome Christmas card with the cutest little kids, a beauty of a lady and a hunky man.... not to mention some awesome pancake shirts.
