Not the best day at work. I walked into a real mess at work. The computer system had gone down at 3 p.m. Saturday and they weren't able to do any of the close down stuff so it had to be done this morning and since the system had been down so long lots of stuff was lost. What a mess! But once we got that done, around noon, the day got better. We were very busy with ski traffic, though!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Kids got lots and lots of presents and were thrilled. They were very lucky in that so many of our friends were so generous with them this year and, I'm proud to say, they realize how lucky they are and are very appreciative!

My DH surprised me with a laptop! I was totally shocked!!!!

My girls got a lot of stuff too and it's going to take me forever to find places for everything. As the girls get new things we give some of the old toys to needy families in the area for their children. Stephanie knows we do this, but I don't think she totally realizes how blessed she really is - she will as she gets older (I hope).

That's great about the laptop - that's what I have too. Mine stays on my kitchen table at all times, unless it's a day like today when it's on my lap while I'm in front of the TV.

Ok so I know x-mas is about giving not about recieving, and everything, but I really wish they would have just said "Sorry but we didn't have much money this year and couldn't get you anything" or just not give me anything. I'm not gonna cry or anything I would rather that than what I got!
My moms friend who I really went out of my way to buy her dd a dvd set that she really wanted, and I got a blue ceramic tote that you put pencils in. if that's not bad enough, b/c it's something I would never use, it said "Thanks for being a top seller" or something like that on it. it was from AVON!! :rotfl:
Then we went to my aunts house for christmas night and my godmother gave me scrunchies!! HELLO!!! I have short hair and can't use them :rotfl2:

Our boys have always been blessed with hand-me-downs and they know they are. I don't know what I'd do if I had to buy clothes for three growing boys all the time. We have several friends that have boys just a little older - and bigger - than our boys. We usually have stuff in the attic in sizes just a little bigger than what they wear and then we go "shopping" in the attic each season. The boys love to do this. I'm lucky that they like hand-me-downs!

My laptop will probably always be on the kitchen table, too! I'm on our desktop right now but I'm going to get the laptop out in a little while and start learning all about it. I really haven't had too much time to even play with it yet!

I hear the Fireworks at best at Magic Kingdom. But it is easier to get around Epcot because it is more spaced out for the crowds.

I love Wishes. But illumations is really amazing to see also. It is more than just fireworks.

Well, I'm going to go take a nice long, HOT bath. I'm freezing and just can't seem to get warm. Maybe a bath will warm me up! We have 50-60 mph winds tonight and it's about 20 degrees right now. Just listening to the wind makes me cold! :cold:

Wow that took awhile but i am all caught up

sorry to hear some were diappointed at christmas

I had a GREAT CHRISTMAS

probably the best one in years

we spent Christmas eve at MIL
but this year her gifts were actually mostly nice

than Christmas day My parnets came till noon
and BIL came at 4 (hours late) for dinner but it was
great anyway

and DH got me some nice stuff so all in all
it was a Great day

I have to get on a new schedule ince DH's hours at work are changing
instead of leaving the house at 3AM
he will be leaving about 1:45 AM
so he will be crashing at about 6:30 at night so
I have to figure out how to fit my sleep schedule in with the girls and him and work and house work

but on the upside he will be making more $$$$$$$$$$$$

Glad you had a nice Christmas, Kayla. I must say that ours was also probably on of the best ones in years. That's probably partly because DH was off both Christmas Eve and Christmas day. That hadn't happened in years!

But I broke down and got my kids some stuff for under the tree-DVD's and one toy each along with candy-Christmas just isn't the same without at least one present to open

The really funny thing is the handle on one side broke as I was pulling it out of the box! Good thing I'm good at faking it! I just said "Thanks, it's cute. I'll have to put it on my desk"

There is NO WAY that's going on my desk! I think it's already gone in the trash :rotfl:
