We got back yesterday evening. Our hamster had gotten out of his cage while we were gone and we spent about an hour looking for him. Then I got depressed and went to bed early so I never got on the computer. We still haven't found him.

Yes I too am glad the x rays were clear but now the fun part of teaching a 12 year old drama queen how to just"live" with pain when it hits

Just a little. It all cleared off Friday although there were still a few ice patches when we were heading to Gatlinburg Friday afternoon. Saturday and most of Sunday were cold, but no snow. Then yesterday afternoon the flurries started as we headed home. Right now we've got maybe two inches. We're supposed to be getting more this afternoon. I really don't think they needed to call school off, though!

December is always hit and miss here. I know that we've had a white Christmas a couple of years here (with more than two inches) and we've had a couple of years where we've had a dusting and then I can also remember at least two years where we wore shorts on Christmas!!!

We used to play that game when we lived in FL. We'd watch the weather channel for a snowstorm heading through northern GA or southern TN, both not too far to drive, and then head up there for the weekend just to catch some snowflakes. :rotfl2:

We made it until about 6:30 or so.

Those birds are crazy. I can't stand them.

I was surprised at how packed it was that day. I don't have a clue why everyone was there.

do you think that is good?? That sucks about having to fire someone. At my previous job I was in management and we would lay people off...I always felt bad, even if they knew it was coming and I also hated turning people away that wanted work. Goodluck. :shamrock:

my trip was great!!! but a little to short!! there was so much to see this trip! I felt like we were on the go all the time!!loved all the fake snow at the parks at night.. but the sad thing is i had to come home to the real stuff!!
