She was at DTD and called me... we were in the middle of trying to get all packed up.

We finished up, loaded the car, I dropped everyone off at the pool at SSR and then drove to DTD to Earl of Sandwich to get some stuff for the road.

She walked over to EOS and we chatted for only a couple of minutes, and didn't even get a picture :(

It is not as bad when you know when they are going. We have known for about 3 months now so we have prepared ourselves. Just the packing them up with all their stuff is going to be a pain. I have to get it all done before tuesday because we are going out of town on wednesday and are not coming back till Saturday night and have chirstmas programs at church in the AM and PM, so my days will be busy till after they go home!

It makes me laugh b/c I know they are gonna be really busy with me gone, plus the cordnator of the shop will be out the day after I leave b/c she has to take her granddaughter to the airport, and she won't be in all day, so the new girl will have to run both the flower shop and the gift shop. Plus after x-mas I won't be there to take care of the flower shop and the cord. won't be back till the 28th from her x-mas vacation

she has never been good with pain and now I am trying tobalance being a good mom and letting her rest with being a good mom and not letting her give into it and let it rule her life :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

If this last longer than a month-there are support groups for those you have to deal with chronic pain-She is a little young and a bit of a drama queen (like most girls her age) but if it becomes a constant sore point with you-she might benifit from a support group

his C day is in a not so nice area in Troy
I am always worried about him

Yesterday one of the stores in the chain that DH delivers to and I work for was Robbed at Gun point

this particular store was in a bad neighbor hood in Albany

The clerk got beat up and a friend of DH's who was making a delivery there was dragged intothe store they held a shotgun tohis head and robbed him too

I know what you mean-when DH use to drive truck he had the same problems with bad areas-that would shake up anyone having a shotgun up to your head :earseek:

My DH got in a bad accident this summer-almost killed 2 kids who pulled out in front of his Dump Truck(fully Loaded) and then almost got himself killed saving the kids-Shook him up bad,but he finished the day out anyways

This night is really slow-it did get busy in the begining-we have a lot of cancer kids on the pod I'm working on-Diagnosed right before X-Mas with Cancer-the families are going crazy with worry-sad around here :guilty:

When we first had Jess
we told everyone Nicely that after 8 pm please do not call unless it is an emergany
DH worked long hours and that was our family time
well my family got it and still very rarely calls knowing we are either with the kids or in bed
We have always had issues with DH family

even the girls friends from school "get" it and never call after 8

I'm sure it will be a good ride home!!! Only got in one accident after working the night shift-but that was on a Hot summer day-with the airconditioner buzzing and after taking the Kids to camp and stopping at the store-way too many things to do after the night shift :rolleyes:

We did Fort Wilderness cabins (drove down from WV) and it was great! The ride down was wierd though. My parents came with us and since they were paying they got to call the shots on the drive. It is about a 13 hour drive but we stopped and spent the night on the way down and back. It meant a longer trip but was better for Dad's back. It did serve to heighten the excitement on the way - especially because we found a WDW travel movie in the hotel on the way down!

I keep trying to find some. WDW is so decked out for the holidays and it as beautiful. But I didn't bring any home with me.

I listen to this radio station that plays christmas music 24/7 until christmas. Still doesn't do it.
