anyone know when school is out this year? that might make it easier on me


Kelli's DD is probably out by the end of May. We can never count on being out until about June 10th. It has been as late as June 13th one year. We are scheduled to be out by the end of May but we always have snow days to make up. Normally I wouldn't care and would just take the boys out for a few days at the end of the year but this year Andrew will be graduating from 8th grade and they have a ceremony and all that and I wouldn't want him to miss it.

While we are waiting I will say I got to watch the parade with lyn and her family. And after the parade we met up with Kliz and her family. We spent a over an hour just chit-chatting. WE DID IT! We spoke in person and didn't need a computer in front of us. There is hope for a weekend.......

Sorry DH and I were talking about his parents. They really had a great time too. I am glad that we took them. His Dad is 80 and his Mom is 77. And they have not been to Disney or anything like it in over 30 years. :earseek:

My vote would be for kids and hubbies! But that's just me. We could plan get-away time for just us girls but it would also be nice for our kids and hubbies to be able to meet each other and see who we sit here talking to all the time. I know when my DH met Kelli's DH they really seemed to hit it off and they both realized that LTP was about real people.

We put the house up on the market in the begining of April and then it sells by the end of April and the buyers will want to close right away!!! But we don't want to close til July 1st-so I don't know if we should wait til end of April to put it up or later

in our neighborhood homes have been selling pretty quick-and this house will be one of the few under 200,000 so it makes a great starter home

so we have to be firm about the closing date is all-and hope we find someone willing to wait
