I think my ONE was more crazy than all of Kliz's Four kids put together. They may have been exhausted from all the excitment....my two were wild. They were so happy to be released from their strollers and allowed to run wild...usually we have them really close in the park unless we are in the playground areas and DH will take one and I will take the other. (another reason we can only handle two).

Kelli, is this some kind of huge Bass store near WDW? My DH said that their is a store like the huge Cabela stores.

Kliz, what is the name of those cartoons that are more violent than the Pokeman series? My DS was asking for the movie for Christmas, DH had a quick responce to him, but I can't remember what the name was today and it is bugging me.....

Yu-Ghi-Oh is the one I was talking about. The characters are darker, more violent and sinister.. IMO.

I REALLY liked the activities and energy at the campground....but everything was so far apart...I couldn't see us going on and off two buses or with a golf cart and the two kids and strollers.....too bad though, it is a fun place and I love the boat to MK....maybe we can visit again. Last trip, we went there 3 times.

Trail End was great....I usually don't do buffets since the kids and I don't normally eat enough to make it worth it....but there I felt it was worth it and my DH made up for us....you wouldn't think it by his size, but the man can eat when he wants to....at every all-you-can-eat thing we went to, he would get three full plates and then desert and then finish off what the kids didn't eat :earseek: and sometimes he would say he felt "just right" and wasn't full :earseek: I felt we were always eating and I was stuffed :confused3 I was amazed he didn't get sick....good thing the weather was cool, we were low stress and did a lot of walking.

I'm a volunteer firefighter and have been with the department for almost three years. I am also taking a firefighting class through our community college and am considering working toward an emergency management associates degree. I also work part-time as a bookkeeper in a grocery chain.

DH is a sheriff's deputy with the rank of sergeant. He's got 25 years in law enforcement. And if that isn't dangerous enough about five or six years ago he joined the fire department. He's a crew chief on the volunteer department and he is also a first responder for the department. Once in a while his jobs cross over. Last week he and another deputy on his shift got a formal commendation for going into a burning house to rescue two people. That was while he was on duty as a sheriff's deputy and he didn't have any of his fire gear with him! I'm very proud of him for that!

My MIL was having problems with her rechargeable batteries keeping a charge and she read something about taking a cloth and rubbing the ends for a while than charging them. She said it worked because her batteries lasted longer than they normally have.

Some places we go camping are literally in the middle of a pasture with nothing around. Well, my friend went on a hunt with her DH in Texas and she had to pee. So, she went behind the truck, out of sight (but not sound) nearby and did her thing. The hunting guide was shocked that a woman would do that. He said if his wife had to pee, he would have to drive her 50 miles to the town to do it.......and speaking from expericience of my drinking days in my early years...yep, gotta learn how to shake or it is messy :rolleyes1

but you would never know it... what with the deer that jump our fence to eat all our apples, the bats that fly overhead to eat all the bugs, the fat beavers, groundhogs and prarie dogs that crawl under the fences to eat the grass.

it's the best of both worlds.
