I won't be here too much longer. I've got honey-bbq chicken on the grill. Yep, it's 34 degrees out...we have the heat on...we have a fire in the fireplace...and I'm grilling outside. We even grill out in the snow - neighbors think we're nuts!

Most years we still have some in April and have even had snow flurries in Mid May :confused3

Whenever we go to town the first four miles is on our mountain. We have to drive up about a mile and then back down the other three. Every time we go over the top (what they call the "gap") it is a different scene. Somedays it is so foggy you can't even see anything, all you see is the clouds and you're above it; somedays you can see forever; it's always beautiful and I'm always amazed!

Where i grew up about 10 miles from where I live now was called Misty Mountain
my parents house and the lake is right about on top and about a nile down the road is a really awesome lookout

now i have to drive 10 miles to get there

they call this Natrual bridge, i have never been there but they have a fitness spa some where around there that is open during the warm months
I was there once

we had driven to Arizona as a family I think I was 12 or 14
than coming home we drove a total differetn way to see other states and the Natural Bridge was one of the places we stopped
Really pretty from what i remmember it was over 20 years ago

It would be a bit of a central location. Kelli could come straight up Interstate 75. It's about 3 hours away for me. It shouldn't be too far for Stephanie. I'm not too sure about Kliz and Kim.

Whew! I just checked mapquest. It would be 14 hours for you. Unless you wanted to fly. You could fly into Knoxville and one of us could pick you us!

My Aunt who now lives in FL does that

My Dad swears if she ever visits in August we would get snow

She's having houseguests and we're gonna make 4 pans of lasagna for her to use later in the week, I'm gonna make a pan for our friends that get in tonight, we'll need a pan for us and I'm gonna make a pan for my manager at work. If we end up with extra we'll just start making it to put in the freezer! :rotfl:

I am doing o.k. We ate at my in-laws last night and my DMIL put together some food for us to take home so I am going to heat that up soon for lunch....I finally finished cleaning and packing...I just have a load of towels in the dryer and then I am done :sunny: DH is going to mow the yard and after lunch we may go into town and pick up some things....I want to get a book for the plane trip, but I haven't decided what I want to get yet :confused3 DD and I have a little bit of a runny noses, so I am trying to take it easy. DD is still taking her medicine, so I am not too worried about her. I think mine is a stress cold...so today I will be a lazy daisy :flower:

Speaking of shirts. I had to go to the neighbors kids footbal game this afternoon. First of all what is wrong with people and the things that they wear. This one walks up with a white shirt on that you could see EVERYTHING. :earseek: DH looks at me and say I guess you didn't need to change your shirt after all. I changed my shirt because I could see my bra strap and a little of my bra. I looked at him and said i guess I shouldn't care that much or just don't look in the mirror like the rest of these freaks. :rotfl:
