Oh you didn't read about my problem. I got off the DIS to go and do my paperwork. But decided to take a shower first. Well while I was in the shower the Transformer Blew. PITCH BLACK. I finsih up my shower by Flashlight and do my paperwork by Flashlight. Took the power company 3-1/2 hours to restore power.

WOW i did not see that... when we had a bad storm come through here too the power company 14 hrs to get our power back on. How did it blow?

It wasn't even a storm. Just real windy. I guess I tree branch hit the transformer and knocked the wire off.

We we through all the hurricanes last year and this year and NEVER lost power from a hurricane. But twice in the past couple of months we have lost power just from wind. We had a tree catch on fire the last time. We were without power for 15 hours that time and it was HOT than. At least last night it was cool.

Yep it was a bit crazy. Amazing how many times you try and flip the light switch... :rotfl:

The time our power went out is when we were getting the winds from katrina... yes all the way up here in Tennessee. I had to call in that day because power company had my street blocked off and they were parked in my driveway. My boss still doesnt believe me... lol... she says my tree must have been the only tree to fall in the county because everyone else was there. i just simply told her... well it must have been. I have pictures to prove it.. LOL

I came to my senses! My interview was what about 2 weeks ago already, & I still haven't heard anything yet, & I know they are still interviewing other people. I really feel like they had no intention of giving me the job. I think they are happy with me where I am, & they don't want to move me from it. I know they will keep me there as long as they can. It doesn't make sense for me to stay anymore. I already make pretty close to the salary cap, so there really is nothing left for me there

Where do i start...

YESTERDAY just when DH and i are about to have the house to ourself...we, or i should say I, had a visitor to show up. The lovely dreaded AF!!! Then after the girls left to go see there dad for Thanksgiving the dept of children services lady that picked them up says she does not feel good about this visit or them going back home.... (so why are they going?)....then last night my freaking COMFY computer chair BREAKS.....then my FREAKING EBAY account is closed for some unknown reason!!!!! Then i did not get to bed till 4 this morning and DH calls and says he wants to leave as soon as he gets home...well i jump up out of bed after 2 hrs of sleep and get ready... wel dh comes home and says he is getting tired and wants to lay down for a few hrs. Now that i have my bath and washed my hair ... i am awake... UGH!!!!!!

Can it get better... i sure hope it can!!!

Where do i start...

YESTERDAY just when DH and i are about to have the house to ourself...we, or i should say I, had a visitor to show up. The lovely dreaded AF!!! Then after the girls left to go see there dad for Thanksgiving the dept of children services lady that picked them up says she does not feel good about this visit or them going back home.... (so why are they going?)....then last night my freaking COMFY computer chair BREAKS.....then my FREAKING EBAY account is closed for some unknown reason!!!!! Then i did not get to bed till 4 this morning and DH calls and says he wants to leave as soon as he gets home...well i jump up out of bed after 2 hrs of sleep and get ready... wel dh comes home and says he is getting tired and wants to lay down for a few hrs. Now that i have my bath and washed my hair ... i am awake... UGH!!!!!!

Can it get better... i sure hope it can!!!

Wish I could post faster but the Board is running slow-taking forever to do anything on my side-

And Kathy if I could send the snow your way I would,but it's already stopping and we got about 2 inches out there,and now as it always does after it snows the temps and wind are going to start tonight-wish it would stay in the 20's then the kids could go out and enjoy the snow-but it always drops into the single digits after it snows here :cold:

Yesterday I got to work with tiny preemies and had a good day-love those teenie tots :cloud9:

Well I got to start my 1st IV in a baby yesterday(hard to believe) I've done numerous adult IV's but at Childrens most the kids I take care of have IV access placed by the MD's or in OR called central lines, RN's don't get to place those :rolleyes:

But regular IV's is something I never had an opportunity to do yet,So I was very excited that after this long I still know how to do it even in a preemie!!!! :cheer2:
