It's been a really long road and his health is so much worse than when he 1st got here-and this poor Mom has done most of it alone-her family lives about 3hrs north and only could be here for less than half the time he was hospitalized-and his Dad has only been here a few times

Not at all-his circulation is really messed up no big vessels that feed the heart it would be impossible to transplant since it's like a bowl of spaghetti in his chest while you and I have 5 main large vessels :guilty:

I took DS to school and then dropped off the key for our truck at the mechanics. Another vehicle in the shop. DH had to drop it off last night 'cause it's got a bad wheel bearing. But as he was driving down the mountain to the mechanic's the brakes went out! All of a sudden! - I just got my van back last week...$2,200!! That really hurts right after WDW and right before Christmas.

And - NO - I have not gotten my term paper done. I am going to get off LTP and get it done,

You can just upload them from your computer right to a place to print them. Than all you have to do is pick them up. Walgreens, Walmart, CVS, and Ritz are ones off the top of my head that do that.

Or a place like snapfish (i know there are more) that you upload right to them and they mail them back to you. Never have to leave your house. :teeth:

Don't know if you guys remember I posted last week that our friend (the kids call him "Grandpa") had a tumor in his brain and he was to have surgery. He had surgery yesterday and they have determined it was cancer. They said it may be next week before they're able to tell him what stage, treatment options and prognosis. When I talked to "Nana" this evening she cried when she heard my voice and I ended up talking to her daughter. That's when it really hit me 'cause I've known "Nana" all my life and I can't remember ever hearing or seeing her cry. She didn't even cry at my mom's funeral.

Could use some hugs...and kleenex! And lots of thoughts and prayers for "Grandpa."

She knows that you are a great kid. And she doesn't need to worry about you because you are independent. I have a brother just like that. He has taken my Mom for a ride more than one time. And he doesn't seem to matter to him. Where I take care of my Mom everyday. Yes she takes care of my DD but I make sure she is feeling good and everything is okay with her. I spend time with her and do things with her. When she was so sick here for a week straight I got up in the middle of the night with her.

Don't know if you guys remember I posted last week that our friend (the kids call him "Grandpa") had a tumor in his brain and he was to have surgery. He had surgery yesterday and they have determined it was cancer. They said it may be next week before they're able to tell him what stage, treatment options and prognosis. When I talked to "Nana" this evening she cried when she heard my voice and I ended up talking to her daughter. That's when it really hit me 'cause I've known "Nana" all my life and I can't remember ever hearing or seeing her cry. She didn't even cry at my mom's funeral.

Could use some hugs...and kleenex! And lots of thoughts and prayers for "Grandpa."

I really think that's it. I've been stressed about that stupid thing for about two weeks now. And I felt so much better once I got it turned in. His wife needed the car today. Yep they only have one car right now.
He races Porsches so he doesn't drive that car on the streets.
And normally she will drop him off if she needs the car but she has not been feeling well and I guess she didn't want to go out first thing in the morning.
