yeah between posting & washing clothes :crazy2: I am so tired of washing clothes...my mom was shocked at how much I pay for water compared to her, then she said..."oh, but you do soooo much laundry." yep, too much....but I can't afford to throw out socks and such when they are dirty, my family would be naked if I did :teeth:

Okay...I guess. We'll wait and see what happens when his in-school suspension is over. The teacher said she did tell him that the other guys were mad at him but then she asked him if he had told on them and he said no and she asked if his his mom had called any parents and he said he didn't think so. She told me this morning that she just asked him because she wanted to go back to the other guys and tell them what he said so that hopefully they would understand that he didn't do what they thought he did. She said she thought that the boys understood now. But then as he was leaving school one of the boys said to another, "should we beat him up now or wait." DS doesn't know if he was serious or just trying to see what DS would do.

So for now, we're just going to wait and see I guess. I did feel better after leaving the school this morning and I had a good day at work. I guess I didn't realize how much it was really bothering me this weekend.

I was reading back at all the discussions on making friends and getting through difficult times with the help of the DIS and the LTP and I have to say that all of you have helped me stay sane! Really, if I didn't have here I would be so bored and unhappy at work and hate coming....I love my coworkers, but we are just slow right now. Like today, DH was telling me to take the day off and I told him, "that's o.k. I have a meeting at 9 and then I can go on the LTP." so work isn't so bad. And, like last night I could talk with Kim and Kayla when my kids wouldn't sleep (and I read back all the super posting you guys did which was very entertaining) and I was more tolerant and patient with them...since I was occupied too. Other than the kids videos and an occacional DVD when I walk, I don't watch much t.v.....the LTP is my soap-opera. So thanks everyone :love:

oh, and I think the thing that is funny about life here is that the little things are important...like what did Tracy find in her closest? What did Kathy find in her basement? How were the ribs Kelli's mom made? How was the dentist for Kliz? Is Kayla feeling better? How is the 3 year old at Kim's work? How was Kelly's day at school, did any kids get paint on their shirts? How was Jake's cruise? What happened to Kethanie, she just disappeared? Why is the server so darn busy right now? :rolleyes:

Yep that is exactly how I feel. Some days I am super busy at work and other days not so busy or not so pressing.

I have found a wonderful group of people here. NEVER in my Life did I think that I would be on a message board sharing my life. NEVER in my Life did I think that I would meet someone that I met over the internet. It just isn't done. But it was so cool when I finally meet Kathy in person. She is a super wonderful women and her family is incredible.

My DSIL was once boiling bottles in water and went outside the house...for a while....and then they could smell the burning plastic. They went in and the bottles completely melted and the pan was destroyed :rotfl: lucky for them the house didn't catch on fire....but it sure stunk. Then, we found out that my DMIL had done the same thing years ago, but she was in another room and her SIL could see the flames in the kitchen from SIL's house and called my DMIL....It may run in the family, just to be safe DH isn't allowed to boil water and I started teaching DS and DD how to cook.

We've seen stuff before with our oldest DS. He has Down Syndrome and kids can be cruel. But the kids in our elementary school always looked out for him and they never teased him. He would only get teased or get stares from "outsiders." But poor Andrew's seeing how mean kids can really be!

My DSIL (DH's sis) loves cruises....I think they would be fun when my kids are older...but I sort of wonder what you do on the cruise? I asked my DSIL, but all she said was eat, go by the pool and sightseeing (they have done Mexico and Alaska)...

My mom doesn't get sick, she's just affraid of large bodies of water I live in the middle of the ocean and it is so ironic how many people my parents age can't swim...my mom, all her sisters, my DFIL sisters, etc. Of course, we all can swim since they were so afraid all the kids got lessons from 3 years old :rotfl: :rotfl: It must have been scary for my mom to sunbathe on the beach and have us crazy kids getting pounded by the ways :sad2:

yep... i have 3! i have ds-almost 8yrs old; dd-5; and ds 2 yrs old...they are good kids for the most part. My oldest son just started taking karate lessons a few weeks ago. We are planning to put DS in some kind of martial arts soon...when soccer ends and I was thinking of putting DD is either jazz or gym as long as it is fun and not too demanding....
What kind of activities did the kids do on the cruise? Were there shows, swimming????
My ds needed to get an attitude adjustment...and we heard that martial arts was great for that. so far he's doing great with it! my kids ages at time of cruise was ds-7yrs; dd-4yrs; and ds-1 yrs...so they weren't too involved in the clubs. The youngest couldn't go to the clubs. The oldest were a bit leary, just cuz they are used to being with me all the time. When they did go they had a great time, and it was nice cuz it was like free babysitting!! Dh and i could put the little guy in the nursery, and then enjoy ourselves!!

allright ladies, my goal last night was to make it to 100 posts. And i said i should have had a goal of losing weight...that came today. I am now bound and determined to lose weight before my cruise.
