Don't you need a turkey for Thanksgiving??? Now we eat turkeys but it just doesn't seem worth all the work...hunting, killing, carrying home, showing it off, then getting rid of all those nasty feathers and then cooking it! :rotfl: One trip to the grocery store, one frozen turkey, sounds much easier to me! :rotfl: The wild turkeys here are tough and I am not a hunter myself, but I think they use a shotgun for that which is a lot of little bullets? Who wants a crunchy, tough bird? Yep, if I were cooking the turkey, Mr. Bird would be from Safeway :teeth:

Kliz - Still can't get a room on-site for the weekend. So it looks we are going off-site.

That really sucks for the people in that area too. One of the guys at work was taking his family next month to Texas to visit family and then Cancun. Well, there hotel was damaged and was supposed to be operational by the time they were going. He just found out yesturday that it won't be. I feel bad for them. One of our main incomes is tourism, so I can see how these storms will hurt them economically.

DH and I are o.k. if we don't eat traditional Thanksgiving food on that day and my kids won't know the difference, so I am hoping everyone is up for Disney Studios during the day on Thursday and maybe lunch at Sci-Fi and then I thought we could walk around and eat at DTD that afternoon and I got tickets to Cicue de Soule (spelling?) that night. I thought I would rather we have tickets somewhere since the parks would be crowded.

I am really excited to go, I haven't been to one of those shows before and I think I got great seats for us. I bought in from the 2nd price range, near where the 1st price seats were and we are on the bottom of the second level one row above the accessible seats....our row has only four seats with one on the aisle....which is no perfect for us since I have kids and don't want to bother other people watching the show. :cool1:
