I got a call from the School today about DD. The Guidance Counselor called me to tell me she was in DD's class yesterday. And she wanted me to know that she is a Sweet little girl. Always willing to participate and help others. And she truly is a role model for the other children. :love: :love: :goodvibes

Freaked me out when I first got on the phone. I was like what the H*** is school calling for that can't be good. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

We're going to go pick our Christmas tree out the Saturday after Thanksgiving! DH knows a man that has a huge Christmas tree farm and we go there for our tree. The trees are actually way up on a hill and he has hayrides from the lower part of the farm up to the trees. Then you pick your tree and they cut it for you and haul it back down. And then you ride the hayride back down. It's so much fun!

Sometimes I feel sorry for myself because we don't have any extended family and the holidays can get lonely, especially if DH has to work.

I don't know where everyone is. It has been a lot slower around here lately than what we're all used to. Today was the first day that there were a lot of us on here during the afternoon. I couldn't even stay last for 5 minutes today. Yesterday afternoon or the day before I was last for a couple of hours!

I got an email from Tracy this morning. She still hadn't heard anything about the job as of this morning. But she's got her computer working again and is just waiting for her internet service.

Oh, I love it! I look forward to it! I think part of it might come from not having extended family and not getting to do this all that often. But I really do love cooking at the holidays.

On Christmas Eve we put out a full buffet, even if it ends up just being our immediate family and even if DH has to work.

Sounds like my account-Our old car insurance never got the cancellation notice and decided to take out the premium-can you believe they took out 700.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and will return it after the get the proper paper work to say it's officially cancelled!!!!!-Once again we are living in the poor house!!!!!

It does seem that the longer he's had this the more often he gets it. The first time he got it was maybe ten years ago. Then he didn't get it for another two years. Then it got more frequent. Sometimes it's something he's able to feel like he can trace...like if he's got a cold, then he's all over it, then this creeps up on him. But all cold symptoms have been gone for quite a while - he just often wonders if it's associated. But other times, like when we were at WDW last month, it just happens out of the blue, no cold - no sickness, just wham! He's not a big guy but he is very strong and to see the pain get to him the way that it does is very scary!

Come to think about it.....DS oldest-gets this once/twice a year usually lasts only 3-4days and he stops complaining about it

I think I've had it too-extreme pain-just like a heart attack-mine usually is gone with an hour-or two

Again, sorry, but no real answers. He's had it happen to where he's been laid up for a week, not able to work or anything. Barely getting out of bed. But then he's also had "episodes" where it's only lasted a day or two and not been that bad. When we were at WDW last month it started just when we were walking into "Lights, Motor, Action." By the time we were seated in the stands I thought I was going to have to go get paramedics for him. His face was all pale and he was having trouble breathing. Luckily it had started before we walked up the stairs for the show or I would have sworn he was having a heart attack because of the stairs! He sat through the show but as soon as it was over we went back to the hotel and got back around 1:00. He rested most of the day, flat on his back in bed. He felt better in the evening and we did some walking around but nothing major. The next day he was fine to do stuff but he said that his chest still hurt, similar to a pulled muscle or the feeling you would have if you had gotten punched in the chest.
