I think somebody needs to ask Santa for another computer.

Black friday - Walmart has laptops for $400.

We were already to get another computer...until the transmission in my van died last Thursday! :guilty:

At least it has a warranty, 3 years or 75,000 miles. That'll get us one month past our last payment on our truck! :rotfl: Our van has 168,000 miles on it so I really shouldn't complain!

I was thinking that at 100,000 miles I would fix up my dings and paint the van...it would be about 8 years old. He thinks we may want to get a new car then....I told him I better start saving now (or after our vacation :teeth: ) I really don't want to have a car payment again :guilty:

I really like spending money on the things that I want. And if we have a car payment that curbs our Disney trips and fun things that we do. So true. Once my kids are out of preschool we may have more disposable income...but I should really work on paying down my house, plus by then my home may need some maintenance stuff like painting the inside, then their saving for retirement and college, but it is so nice to enjoy life too :rolleyes: ...

I just thought, I am so glad I am here. If I had made a statement such as this on the budget board I would be the most irresponsible person in the world...and I will just add in for fun, "my kids will only be young once!"

We don't have any payments on the van but we do on our truck. We got the truck two years ago with a five year loan. Before that we hadn't had a vehicle payment for over ten years!

We're 15 miles from town so every trip to town is 30 miles round trip. I had to go to town twice today! So it adds up fast. Luckily DH has a take-home patrol car so he doesn't have to drive one of our vehicles to get to work!

i hate tornadic weather. i get scared. plus the kids are scared. and DH was sound to sleep. he had to stay up with DD today. He works 3rd shift so he had to sleep tonight... and i cant believe he slept through it all. :confused3 How does he do that... LOL... i would have woke up on the first sprinkle... LOL

Great with all the unfriendly people out that day. I swear I have NEVER in my life come in contact with some many rude mean people in my life.

Three years ago I was at walmart with my FIL and we watched a fight breakout
to the point of blood shed over a basketball hoop type thing

it was unreal

my oldest is sick too

Last year she had some virus that the muscles in her chest were swollen
well she says it feels the same so we are headed back to the DR this morning

i hate it when they are sick :guilty:

and to top it off I called the bank to check on a deposit and somehow my whoel account is messed up and showing a Negative Balance which is just NOT possible so I have to figure that out today too :confused3 :confused3

I have never heard of something like that.

My DD has a heart murmur. We had to go to the Cardiologist this past Feb. to have everything checked out.

That is what was supposed to happen. So when DD when in for a check up at 6 and was not feeling well and the Doctor could still hear pretty loud. She made up go to the Cardiologist to have it checked out. For some reason hers is not closing like it should.

So I have today off
planned on hanging out here a bit then running to the store and than back here

But no my plans never work
DD is sick

she is having chest pains again

last year she had them and they said the cartlige in her chest was swollen she missed a week so we are off to the Dr. in a few hours

My DH has actually gone through this many times! The first time he was at work and they took him straight to the ER. They thought he was having a heart attack. Most recently he had the pains when we were at MGM. Once he got back to the hotel and was able to lay down and stretch out those chest muscles he started to feel better. It's scary!

I hope the Dr. will give you some answers on why it happens to her!

Hey where is Kim when i need her??

DH got his first attack shortly after having had double pneumonia. One Dr said that it may be that his chest muscles were damaged in some way with the pneumonia. He also has a hiatal hernia (probably butchered the spelling on that) and one Dr said that it was related to that. But he has seen at least four or five doctors over the years and none of them has come up with any concrete reason! He has gone through the whole routine of heart tests and is heart is in perfect condition! So at least they have ruled that out and he knows when he gets these pains he just needs to take it easy until they go away.

That would freak me out. My Mom has had open heart surgery and my father died of a heart attack. I don't do well with that.

The one thing that really worries me is that he so certain each time he gets these pains that it's "those" pains and not his heart. What if one time it is his heart? He'll just end up ignoring it!

Maybe you can make of one those and ask his to write about his vacation.

He just doesn't like to hold anything in his hand... he still sucks on his fingers and it just drives him crazy to hold a pencil.

I'm hoping that he will grow out of it... I just have to be patient...

I got a call from the School today about DD. The Guidance Counselor called me to tell me she was in DD's class yesterday. And she wanted me to know that she is a Sweet little girl. Always willing to participate and help others. And she truly is a role model for the other children. :love: :love: :goodvibes
