We were looking at your pictures and there is one of your boys walking up the walkway, my DD says, "look at them on the train" :rotfl2: I guess the walkway looked like a train track for her :rotfl2: Do you have 4 DSes?


Three DSs, 16, 13 and 11, and one DD, 20. DD is away at college (about three hours from here.) DS16 has Down Syndrome so it's he really acts much more like his brothers and it's like they are all very close in age.

and if i could figure out away to not ever see her agian it would be okay with me but since FIL died the girls try to be see her to remember him
but she doesn't like them
plays favorites to all the boys in the family and the worst part moved my FIL's best friend in to her house (and room) 1 1/2 months after his wife died
she just frustrates me

Looks like I am LAST and alone....

Just in case anyone wonders if I am missing tomorrow, I may not go to work and so I won't be on the DIS during the day. DD has a little cough and being the paranoid, overly cautious mom, I may take off work and take her in to get her ears checked and have the doctor take a look at her. She isn't really sick-sick, but we leave in 9 days :teeth: and I don't want her to be uncomfortable on the plane...so I am thinking of taking her in, just for peace of mind. I will miss you guys... :guilty:

Lyn ~ Sorry to hear your DD is sick. I'm like you, though, I'd try to get it checked out before it turns into more, especially with the ears and the long plane ride. My one DS has had lots of ear problems, three major surgeries, so we know all about ear infections! Good luck tomorrow.

Mmmmmm! The store I work at is giving away turkeys with six $45 purchases. I have four turkeys in the freezer so I'm not gonna try to get anymore.

My heart was broken last night. My dd6 (foster child) and i were doing a poster for her called "MY FAMILY". Her and I have been talking about it all week. Now all of a sudden she decides she does not want my dh and my picture on there. OH my heart broke into a million pieces. I have a good friend who fostered 3 brothers for years and endedup adopting them
everytime they spenttime with their Mother they were so nasty to her for 3 or 4 days but now they are a happy family

who knows what went on. I still think their dad is on drugs. they will go back to stay unless dad screws up AGAIN. thank you all for letting me cry on your shoulder. Everyone here is THE BEST!!!! Last night after that happened with DD...I cried...and cried... and cried. DH felt so bad because he understood that i was hurting and wasnt a thing he could do but sit there and rub my back and hug me. He knew that nothing he did could make the hurt go away. He is such a good man... i could not make it through things like this without him.

She has "the start" of an ear infection in one ear...I am not sure if that is related to the little cough or not, but I did get medicine for her and it is supposed be cleared up before our plane trip. She was so good at the doctor's today, even though it took a while to get in and pick up the prescription...and she feel asleep in the car about 2 minutes before we reached home! She has been so great today (she must be sick), it even makes up for the terror she was over the weekend :rotfl2: Oh, well, I am off to put something in the slow cooker for dinner and may take a little nap before DD wakes up :cheer2:
