Yes, you pretty much got the idea of VMK. It's basically a chat room for ages 8-14, but there is a huge spectrum of older teens and adults (handful of Dis members, too) who play. The characters are guests in The Virtual Magic Kingdom and they can walk around by exploring. You can meet new people, play games to buy items in the shops, trade with other characters all kinds of items, get virtual items for the game by playing real Magic Kingdom Park quests, etc.

I guess I've been spoiled to only work part-time

But the extra money sure does come in handy-I may have to work extra more often-then when those unexpected things come up -it wont be such a shock :rotfl:

I work 12 hr shifts on the Fri/Sun-But if I pick up extra then I only work 8 hrs-mostly night shift sometimes pm shift(3pm-11pm)

That kind of situation drives me crazy-I get to see what happens to the kids when the Mom or Dad decides to go back on Drugs and then puts the Kids in danger or harms them-it's one of the saddest parts of my job-The inncocent kids/babies who suffer at the hands of their parents(or boyfriend)

I'll pray that this Dad has made a complete recovery and that your two little girls will be safe and happy with him

My sister and i have a joint account. she is in mississippi. she sells all kind of things. from baby clothes to pageant clothes to movies and dvd's and i also sell a WIDE variety of things. the money i make from now to october will be for my cruise... well most of it will be... LOL...

He will probably miss the deployment-that is unless a new act of congress goes thru to stop loss everyone from the Military-that would extend him about a year and that would mean he would have to go-but the odds are in our favor that that wont happen-but it still bothers me

My dh is having weapons quilifications this weekend. his drill is usully in millington tn but not this weekend. millington is about 3 hrs away but he only has to go about 1hr 30 min away so he stayed home tonight and is getting up in about 2 hrs to head out. he is thinking about goingto the national quard when this term is up. he has been screwed over to many times....but he is having 2nd thoughts they have a new cheif. so he is thinking about staying... he wants to retire with the navy

:rotfl2: close, I am doing more paint shirts. DD is very picky about what she wears. She made a t-shirt where I set it up so she stamped a castle design with paint. She loves the shirt and has been wearing as much as possible in between washings. So, today DH tells me we should make more shirts. Normally, I don't like to buy them too much clothes since I get lots of clothing from my sisters' children...but if she is wearing it to school it makes our lives easier in the morning rush. So, I stopped into Walmart on our way home today and totally scored, the boys cotton t-shirts were on sale for $1.88 and DD shirt was the regular price at $2.88. I bought a bunch of shirts and tomorrow the kids and I can paint their shirts (so I am cutting out the designs right now) and then later I will make gifts with the other shirts for the kids on my list. I am planning on putting their first initial on the shirt and giving the shirt and a small monetary gift for Christmas. This is the first year I am giving the kids money...but I can't keep up with thier taste so I think this way is best.

I like the paint technique better than the pancake(although the kids might find pancake t-shirt more fun) Your t-shirts turned out great-just loved the red ones-we recently went thru Goodwill and found some great Disney t-shirts for December-(Since it's winter-or just about no one wears t-shirts much anymore)we got them for 2.99-3.99/each

Well, Tracy's interview went well and hopefully next week we will hear how it went, but maybe not since she is without cable, phone and internet until their new place is hooked up.
