I am waiting for my shirts to dry. I washed my red shirts, screwed up the pancake thing while the white shirts were drying. Rewash red shirts and reprint template. Did red shirts...messed up white shirts and so I had to wash them again and they are in the dryer. :rotfl2:

Well all heck broke loose here. The little neighbor boys came over to play and I hear my DD screaming. He pushed her and she feel and hit her head on the bookshelf. Well BLOOD was everywhere.

I don't do well with blood on my little girl.

She has a small gash on her head next to her eyebrow. DH put a butterfly bandaid on it. He seems to think that will be okay.

I am a nervous wreck now.

What am I supposed to look for with a concussion?

Where is Nurse Kim when I need her???????????

No bump. Her pupils look fine. And she is up and about now. She is not complianing about anything.

DH says it is not deep. And facial cuts bleed more because they have more blood vessals.

It stopped bleeding for the most part. We are keeping an eye on her.

she is more upset about being able to go to the party tonight.

This is my status. After work went to store #2 and looked at 5000 differnet paints..only found one spray type that is for scrapbooking/fabric which will bleed and need to be heat set, applied with gloves, etc. Too much hassle for me. Left mall with no purchases! Hit Walmart (store #1) and found regular tulip frabric paint, but not the spray. I decided to buy white and silver and sponge on the paint around my pancake batter.

Come home, take care of family and DH wants to help, hooray!. I wash the dark shirts first and the white next while I cut my templates and DH cuts a box to cardboard put between shirts.

I apply the batter to the shirts...my template is too soft, batter clumpy, horrible. Decide to rewash red shirts. DH prints out my template on card stock for me and I cut them out again.

Do red shirts, this time I sift the flour first and DH helps me take off the template. Good so far, try to do free hand Mickeys on white shirts...horrible. I rewash white shirts. While washing I show DH the shirts people posted here.

DH goes to bed and I freehand white shirts. My pancake mix sounds like the runs and my lines are really thick. It is midnight so I leave them as is. Go to bed at 12:30 a.m. DD wakes me up at 6:08 a.m. We get up, I make her breakfast and I spray the white shirts and sponge the red shirts with white paint then silver. DH wakes up and says, "Hmmm, the white shirts are not what I expected" I gave the look to him, as in "you'll be wearing them anyway!"

I have them drying now.

Yeah we had a hard time with it too at 1st! But we had to do something, the day we bought him, we had gone to the car wash & someone had abandond some kittens there, my sis started crying b/c she wanted to take them home, but we were a looong way from home & weren't going straight home so we couldn't take them, I felt really bad leaving them too! But she got over it b/c she saw other people taking them home. Well after we ran all our erands we stopped at the pet store and found Luke. 1st she wanted a white mouse :earseek: I said NO WAY!! Then she wanted a gerbal (sp?) but they look too much like mice, so we settled on a hamster :rotfl:

No, we don't change our clocks. Oddly enough, when I lived in Indiana we didn't change the clocks there either....it was always a 6 hour difference, no matter what part of the year. Which was wonderful...I would have been confused twice a year.

I think they came out well :cool1:, of course, I don't have high standards and after all that work we are wearing them! I made a few mistakes that I think I learned from :rotfl2: and DH said we should do another set :earseek: . They are air drying now, I will try and take some photos and see if I can download them into DH's laptop and then post them here...DH is still sleeping :cloud9:

If you are still here Kelli(since you DIS with the light off) you should really clean the cut once a day at least and put neosporin ointment on it then either leave it open to air or replace the butterfly bandaid-make sure not to put too much ointment on it or the bandaid wont stick

Honestly when I saw it I was not thinking anything except "HOLY COW - look how much blood".

Hopfully if it does scar it won't be too bad.

This is my status. After work went to store #2 and looked at 5000 differnet paints..only found one spray type that is for scrapbooking/fabric which will bleed and need to be heat set, applied with gloves, etc. Too much hassle for me. Left mall with no purchases! Hit Walmart (store #1) and found regular tulip frabric paint, but not the spray. I decided to buy white and silver and sponge on the paint around my pancake batter.

Come home, take care of family and DH wants to help, hooray!. I wash the dark shirts first and the white next while I cut my templates and DH cuts a box to cardboard put between shirts.

I apply the batter to the shirts...my template is too soft, batter clumpy, horrible. Decide to rewash red shirts. DH prints out my template on card stock for me and I cut them out again.

Do red shirts, this time I sift the flour first and DH helps me take off the template. Good so far, try to do free hand Mickeys on white shirts...horrible. I rewash white shirts. While washing I show DH the shirts people posted here.

DH goes to bed and I freehand white shirts. My pancake mix sounds like the runs and my lines are really thick. It is midnight so I leave them as is. Go to bed at 12:30 a.m. DD wakes me up at 6:08 a.m. We get up, I make her breakfast and I spray the white shirts and sponge the red shirts with white paint then silver. DH wakes up and says, "Hmmm, the white shirts are not what I expected" I gave the look to him, as in "you'll be wearing them anyway!"

I have them drying now.
