I would love the dining plan,but isn't it pricey-did you find a good deal???

well it's 35 per adult per day, 10 per child per day.

so for our family it was about 710 total for the week. We didn't need it, but we wanted to do it. Our last trip we didn't eat out much, but this trip we're going full tilt!

Not good with abbreviations-is that 10 day park hopping option with the no expiration option-that would be nice but we are going with the standard 4 day ticket no hopper that expires 14 days after we leave

we did that our first trip. But we wanted to be able to use them again and save a little $$ in the process.

I don't know if we'll be hopping much this trip though.. I better plan at least one day of hopping so I'll feel like I got my $$ worth out of it :rotfl:

We bought the Dining plan this past August. We used two 'points' once to dine at the California Grill but other than that...we ate in France at Epcot and many other wonderful restaurants. Many days we ate a big breakfast and therefore didn't need Lunch and other days we had a muffin for breakfast and a great lunch? I thought it exceptional...the night we dined in France (Chefs de France??) the bill for the 5 of us was almost $400 and it covered every penny incl gratuity so we thought that alone was more than worth it!! :cool1:

You can include the dining plan when you buy the disney my way tickets -you can pick from many options: one being hopper and another being dining included-so unless I looked wrong I did find the tickets -but as I mentioned it was about 100.00 more a ticket this way from the standard ticket :guilty:

I have to read back to know what is going on. I did really well this morning with the t-shirt purchase. I bought white and red (I will try to make two sets of pancake shirts) and I found shirts for under $3 for DD and DS and under $5 for DH and I. The shirts I found for me were on clearance and really nice....except the red shirt wasn't blood red, more like a hot-pink red...but I thought it would look o.k....I can be a hot mama right? and they had one for me that was mint green...not quite lime green but I thought it looked pretty close :goodvibes

But the store didn't have the paint spray so now I need to brave the mall to go to the craft store :scared: I have been avoiding the mall...but if I must go in, I must. But I will only get the spray...and maybe look at the crocs...and maybe pick up lunch...but nothing else :rotfl:

If I had to make 33, I think I would spread out all the shirts on my driveway in a row and do the pancake thing all at once and let them dry in the sun...if DH had to drive somewhere he would be out of luck :rotfl:

If we are in the parks and I see a swarm of people wearing pancake shirts I will stop and ask them to point me in the direction of Kliz :rotfl:

If my first batch comes out o.k., I was thinking of doing shirts for my neices and nephews as Christmas gifts....maybe printing out their first initial really big and cutting out the letter, then lay the paper on the shirt and fill the letter "hole" with mix, dry and spray? If I can find glitter paint I would spray that on too for the girls.

DH says this year he wants to take a trip to see snow. :cold: Last February we went to Disneyland and went up to Big Bear Lake as a day trip to see snow and go tubing. DD didn't want to wear her gloves and she didn't understand the cold, but she enjoyed the tubing. DS didn't want to go on the tubes, but wanted to build little snow men...which was a little hard since the snow was slushy. We want to try again to show them snow...but we are so bad, we only want to spend one day in the snow and not a whole trip....I think the "snow" at MVMCP will suffice this year :teeth:

The only color they had was burgundy :confused3 so I had an easy time choosing a color for my white shirts :rolleyes: . I went to the fabric store and the nice, older lady thought I was asking for glitter body paint for Halloween :eek: . I don't have many craft stores here :sad2: There are some where my sister lives (near the city), on a different island....but it is not worth it for her to take time out to go get it and ship it to me...easier to just order it online.

:ssst: I didn't stop at any unplanned stores but did purchase Crocs for DD, DS and myself for our upcoming trip and I picked up lunch for my coworker and I.

If you read back some of the women are making these fun shirts with fabric spray paint and a flour/water mixture (a.k.a. on the LPT - pancake mix). I wanted to make red shirts with white paint on them and white shirts with a colored paint....but I couldn't find the white paint here....I have been looking online.

I finally found some with resonable air shipping...for some reason, some of the companies don't want to ship the flamable spray cans by air :confused3 So, I already have two cans of the burgundy and I ordered black, lilac and silver. I found white, but decided to go with the lilac instead. My current plan for my white shirts: Mickey in black with the dark purple around him and then the lilac outside the dark purple. For my red shirts I will spray the lilac lightly first and then the silver...I think I will have enough paint left to do the kids shirts later too. I think for the boys I will stick to the darker colors (black and dark purple) and the girls the lighter colors (some dark purple with the lilac and silver). The plan may change tomorrow :rotfl:

I think their are about five different ones (or more). The one I bought today at the store is different than the one I bought on-line.
