:grouphug: Once, my goat got out when I was excepting DS...we looked and looked for her...and then we found her at her new home, with a bell around her neck and a new name of Blondie or something odd like that...since she is white/black/brown???? She was there for a few days and the people where really nice...she is still in the pen.

By the time I called on Monday morning, they already found a new home for him.

You plan your meals for the ENTIRE month? :earseek: Sort of, when we had the threat of a hurricane about a month or more ago, I really stocked up...so last month and this month I went through my freezers and pantry and listed all our potential meals...then I printed out a calendar and placed each meal for each night. I don't follow the calender exactly, but it makes it so much easier for me to remember what I have on hand and then to make a list for the few ingredients I need. But this month we are going to WDW in 19 days and then no cooking for two weeks :teeth: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer:

WE HAD THIS CRAZY FAMILY LEAVE MY WORK IN SEPTEMBER BECAUSE i HAD THE NEARVE TO START CHARGING THEM FOR WATCHING THEIR CHILD(THEY HADN'T PAID SINCE APRIL BY THE WAY). Well because they owed us two weeks of care they couldn't get a new voucher somewhere else so they got mad and called the state!! reporting things that happened before i got there lying about other things~~

so as I am leaving today the lady from the state comes in to look over the center and talk to us all about a few things..

just when i think it is all going OK at work something like this happens!!!

I always pay for DS and DD preschool on time or early, my thought is I expect to get paid twice a month and I would think the school's employees, utilities, etc. expect to get paid too. It is rude to think they don't need to pay on time. Also, this is so unfair to the other children if time is now being wasted dealing with unfounded complaints..

it was the previous director who did not charge them at all from April - September( I have no idea why they were getting a free ride) but all I wanted to do was charge them going forward... not for the 6 months of free care they got!!

i brought in an old tee shirt of my dh so the little boy was covered from head to tow with a smock. did he not walk into someone elses painting after we came in from outside and he had paint on his coat!! We bring in t-shirts too, but sometimes you can't help it. Sometimes, my kids have even gotten hurt at school from playing around....I mean they are messy and active at home, why should school be different?

My brother did 4 years in the Army and than 2 national guard than 4 years in the coast guard and when his time was up they wanted him to reenlist and made it very tempting to stay with the $$ bonus but his wife at the time and he decide it was time
He had such a tough time adjusting to non military life we all wanted to kill him for almost a year i even threatened to sign him back up myself
but than the war in Iraq started and we were glad he was out although since the Divorce he has considered going back

Did your dogs come home yet? no :guilty: and it broke my heart last night when I got home, DS had drawn pictures of three dogs in chalk on our driveway to let people know to watch for our dogs when they drive up...and two of the dogs were crossed out which represented our two missing dogs and to let "people" know to watch for our dogs :sad1: DH was looking for them again....hopefully they will be there tonight when we get home or someone will call....the shelter and no vets have called yet, so I am taking it as a good sign that they weren't hit by a car or anything....

Thank you, it was very exciting for me :cool1: (the tag that is).
I had a hard time with the pancake mix, but I used a thing to decorate cakes instead of a little bottle....It was messy and the lines were too thick and clumpy...we are going to try again tomorrow. One of the ladies I work with used a tacky glue container for her mix and did Christmas stocking...it was very cool.

Hi Kathy.. How Are You??

Very rough two days. DS (13) got three days of in-school suspension yesterday. This is the kid that has never even been put in time out in school! He gave in to peer pressure and did something really, really stupid. He and five others were suspended. He deserves the punishment and DH and I have no problems with that. But we have been round and round with the school since last spring because DS is being bullied. Well, this time he finally gave in to the peer pressure and bullying and he could have really been hurt. We're angry with the school because no matter how much we have brought it to their attention they haven't acted on it!

And then DS comes home today and said that his teacher came into the room where he is serving his in-school suspension just to tell him that several of the boys are mad at him for causing problems and they're mad because his mom called the other parents and got them into trouble!!!! #1 - I never called any parents and #2 - I don't think this is something she needed to put on him. If there's a problem call me!
