My DH and FIL built a 24X20 steel shed in our backyard about two years ago in spring-it rained and was just miserable :umbrella:

This is just a small shed to store tools and stuff until than

Hi Tracy!!


No, you just pour the mix in the cones... the hard part is keeping them standing up and then transporting them!

You can cook them in cupcake pans, but line the bottom with foil so they don't burn. Then they sell special holders for them.

Today is DS's birthday :goodvibes . For whatever reason, he wanted a "horse"/pizza party. So, I picked up some horse plates and cups for the kids and a horse pinata. My DMIL gave me a second pinata, so I filled it up with things for the adults....we will see who is game to act like a kid tonight. Ohh, those sound great. When I was younger, my mom used to be really great at decorating cakes...she could make the little stars, roses, everything. I really should learn. If we buy a birthday cake, I always save the little toys that are placed on the top. I think I might try my luck with writing the words and I think I have some farm animals in my old cake toy box. I like baking and my in-laws love eating....so it works out for us :rotfl:

I thought about taking a pastry class at our comminuty college...just for fun. I know they have sushi making (which my cousin sometimes teaches) and other stuff....maybe next spring when soccer is done...I should look into it again.

WOW, that is a great one too. I never thought of stacking a circle cake with a flat cake. That is a good idea for my ladybug and fishbowl cakes....usually I make two cakes since one is not enough, but if I stacked a double cirlce on a flat, that would be two cakes...plus I could spend more time just decorating one cake and less room in the fridge....thank you for the ideas.... I should really get to starting my day before everyone else wakes up...I wonder what we will do today? For the first time in a while we don't have soccer and so we were going to leave up todays activities to DS, but right now it is so windy and it looks like it will rain :guilty:

I've never made a lady bug cake. That is a good idea!
I couldn't find a picture on the web, but it was I think I saw it in a Better Homes magazine. You bake two cirlcle cakes. Then, get white frosting and add red food coloring to make pink or red. Frost the cake and then add black M&Ms for the spots on the wings and green M&Ms for the eyes. I used black gel for the lines of the wings, head and mouth. Then, I used a star tip to make really simple grass and flowers around the bottom sides of the cake. One year, I had some chocolate shaped garden things like a watering can and rake....so I added that to the bottom. You could probable also use green food coloring on shredded coconut as "grass" around the cake too.

try and stick with the Rio mp3 player-we got one from Best Buy-and got the replacement plan(only 10.00) best money I spent-Since Rio doesn't have a processor like iPod it doesn't break as easy as them-

DS just broke his and now we get to go get another as soon as his replacement coupon arrives-but you need to keep all the original packaging and books together so if it breaks that's what they want it sent back in

The smaller MP3 player from Rio was about 150.00(held about 150 songs)-but I think they have even smaller ones in the 60-100 range-and they are the original makers of MP3's-and I really like Best Buys replacement plan-saves me from worrying about the darn thing all th time

Me too! Even though other than this year we hadn't had a hurricane since I was like 5 or 6, it still scares the hell out of me!

We never have hurricanes here
sometimes we get leftover rain
but we get huge snowstorms and ice storms instead but i have so many friends
and family that live in Hurricane areas
i get so worried

My whole drive to Orlando on Friday was in the blinding pouring RAIN. And it was a lot of traffic.

MNSSHP was good. No rain but goodness it was HOT. It was so humid.

We went to Food and Wine yesterday at Epcot and was rained on in the late afternoon.

No rain today.
