As soon as DD gets down with school. I am hoping to be on the road by 2:30. DH is going to meet us there. He is working Way North of where we live and it would be easier for him to just drive directly to WDW. Plus that way I don't have to wait around for him. Than hit the Tampa Traffic. :headache: Stop and go stop and go. :moped:

Yes tonight is the night. I just hope there is not a lot of traffic today. I would love to get to the hotel, check-in get settled than head over to the Park early. Beat the rush. DH is going to just meet us in the park later in the evening.

We normally get stuck here when we wait too long to decide we are going. It seems like the last hotel to fill up.

We prefer the Mods. But there is nothing wrong with Music. We just don't like that it shares buses with the other 2 All Star Resorts.

It is not a nice drive. Tons of traffic and road construction. I4 is such a mess. And everyone drives like idiots. We always see an accident or two. This lady was riding my bumper so long while talking on the cell phone that if I would have let up on the gas she would have hit me. And at the speed we were going it would have caused a big accident.

I wish there was a better way. But any other way takes a lot longer because it takes me way out of the way.

My other job is in our town....I don't want to say exactly what I do, but I am a professional and I work in an office....which lately has been really sloooowwww....so I have been spending a lot of time here :sunny:

I am trying to brainwash DS to always live near me...I tell him that he raise his family next door to me :love: . Yes, this year both DS and DD are in the same preschool, but different classes. We usually bring in lunch for all the kids on a birthday, but today they had a feild trip so it was hard to do that. I had to think of a snack that would be not need to stay hot or cold. So, I picked up a couple gallons of apple juice and I bought colored ice cream cones (pink, green and chocolate brown) and I made two mixes of white cake mix with the party spinkles inside. I filled up the cones and baked them. DD had a pink cone for breakfast and DS had green :rotfl: . I couldn't frost them since I couldn't keep them all cold, but the colored cones with the sprinkles inside looked really cute.

They sound very cute :flower: The last time I made them I used my regular cupcake tin and put some foil on the bottom of the cone to make them stand up. It was for DH and his friends so I didn't put too much cake mix and I added whip cream on the top. This time, since I made over 40, I placed the cones directly on my mini-cupcake tin and baked 24 at a time.....which is why I was up extra early, I made two batches. I look cupcakes too.

Also, I just cook them at 350 or whatever the box says until they are done. nothing special on the baking part of it.

I feel you pain Kathy-we drive 13 hrs just to get to NC/GA and then WDW is another 8hrs-so we are breaking up the drive with an overnight by family for a night-let the kids stretch their legs and give Mom a much needed break

OMG, did you still treat them? If so, that is much nicer than I would have been. I have a sister that is ALWAYS late....frustrating. What time is it for you anyway....I hope you ate something and drank some liquids...

package cake mix

about 30 flat-bottom ice-cream cones


Heat oven to 350ºF. Make cake mix as directed on package

Fill each cone about half full of batter. Stand cones in muffin panIf you have on or I just balance really carefully on a cookie sheet

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick carefully inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
Frost with frosting and decorate as desired.
Store loosely covered.
