I called the uniform company about the little kids scrub sets. They have to order them 2 weeks in advance. The lady said they are so cute. On the back it says "Doctor in Training". So all morning I have been trying to track down another Doctor Costume for DD. I think I found one. So lunch time will be hunting it down.

I am hoping that my DH has a great time so he will want to go again next year, before our passes expire. I was thinking that either the spring with the flower show would be nice or my DS will have a week off in October next year from school and we could go to MNSSHP.......I am crossing my fingers.

I was looking at the resorts this morning a little, but most of the choices for 3 adults and 2 children are pricey. It is a shame that a 1 bedroom or even those studios can still only accomadate a family of four. :guilty:

If we are able to go back next year, I will need to check on the various options to see what is the best for us. I was also looking at the cabins at Fort Wilderness this morning, but I am not sure how far that is from everything. We are planning on going to the campfire/movies one night and the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue in November, so I can take a look at the area then.

I have so many things I need to do at home. But I don't feel comfortable just leaving her there with the Teacher. We have been with the same place and the same teacher for 3 years but still doesn't feel right.

DS is turning 5 this month and DD is 3 1/2 years old. We usually do take DVDs for them to watch. DS has been to California 4 times...and that is a 5+ hour ride. He is usually a really good sport. DD has been to California 3 times and sometimes she is good and sometimes a terror. On the last two trips, she was hyper the whole trip home. At one point, she told me she was done on the plane....sorry honey, we can't just get off mid-pacific :rotfl: . One trip she fell asleep when we landed and the next in the car on our way home from the airport. Of course, I have had trips where they sleep the whole way there....so hopefully they will be o.k.

That is how much I love a vacation....having my family together all day, no work, no stress, no cooking or cleaning, seeing something new and different at our pace and the kids having fun... so we tolerate the traveling. We have only done direct flights, I am praying this isn't too much for us. At least DS and DD are a little older and understand that we are going on vacation to see Mickey, so that should help.

We had a little storm come thru a couple of month ago and we lost power for 24 hours. Lucky for us we have a generator to keep the frig. and freezer going.

All the hurricanes we have been thru and never lost power than a little storm comes thru and bang no powers. :confused3

We don't get Hurricanes-but any storm(big or little) and we loss power-frustrating-we borrowed my Mom and Dad's generator,so after the 2nd power outage we were set :rolleyes:

But you sound like you have her under good control :) -all the research says that with proper interventions/treatments-that hospitalization for asthma is something that shouldn't happen

We don't get too many ice storms here-we just live in the woods-and the trees grow thru all the power lines-so any wind and down go the trees and power lines :guilty:

Amazingly-but not a big surprise! it just gets too cold :cold: for the snow to turn into ice-so we get a lot of snow-occasionally in spring we get a freak ice storm and then it gets ugly :earseek:

I know, it is so horrible but we have been really slow for about three months, very odd. I am not in danger of losing my job or anything, I am just here each day since people come in and I help them and to do my paperwork...which has been less lately plus I work fast to begin with. To be honest, the days were going by really slowly until I started to be active on the DIS. I used to do occasionally lurking...now, I spend the first part of my morning catching up on what all of you talked about during your morning/afternoon.
