I think we finally fell asleep around 4:45-5 :earseek: think she's still freaked out about the last storm we had blow thru hear -Don't say I blame her,this one was so loud and the lightening lite the sky all night. I have to keep her home til around 11am just to see if she can get a little sleep, maybe earlier if she feels up to it

I got home safe. But it always amazes me how people drive in the rain. They act like they have no clue. This guy in the next lane to me slams on the brakes and slides thru the red light. :confused3 Hmm raining, slick ground maybe I should slow down as I approach the light.

I have a Pontiac Grand Prix-neighbor is a GM Mechanic-and he looked at it since he does little jobs for nearly cost for us and said this was a major job-since you have to lift the engine on a support and then align it back up afterwards-oh well-what's 800.00 bucks-pocket change right :earseek:

I walk 5 miles every Tues and Thurs. night. And typically 18-20 miles on Sat. with 10-15 on Sundays.

Very time consuming.

It took us 7.5 hours to walk those 20 miles. It is taking allot of time away from my DD on the weekends. Which really bothers me.

That's true-he did stick it out all day :rolleyes: -he's at a new school this year and they don't let him slack off like the one he just left-he actually has to do homework every night-he's had a few ruff adjustments but I pray he is doing better(he says he gets it now-we'll see)

DD's school is very strict. She has homework 4 nights a week. And it all must be signed by a parent or it doesn't count.

and if she doesn't get credit for it you get a written warning from the school.

You only get like 3 of those than they call you in for a conference to see what the problem is.

They mean business. They don't put up with any crap from the parents or the kids. They are there to teach and that is what they will do.

It's supposed to reopen 10/11 but there is already talk about it going over schedule. I don't know what to do right now. I'm thinking about making some ressies for the next week just in case. DH and I could rearrange our vacation times (I think) if we have to .

We are staying until the 23rd. DH wakes up at 2:38 last night and remembers AFTER I purchased the NON-REFUNDABLE tickets that he was supposed to go to Miami for a football on the 23rd. So I don't have a clue what his plans are now.
