We live just about 15 miles from anything! There's a little country store 2 miles from here that has gas and some groceries (high priced) but they're not open on Sundays. The boys elementary school is only 2 miles from here but the high school is 15 miles from here in town. There's only one high school for the entire county! DH and I both work in town so it's 15 miles one way for work. At least DH has a county vehicle to use for back and forth to work!

We have a Walmart and a Kmart but no superstores and no Target! Our mall is so tiny it's a joke. We have to go at least 50 miles to a real mall. There aren't many restaraunts in town, either. Usually have to go 50 miles to a decent restaraunt!

It took some getting used to 'cause we moved from a big town where everything was right there but I wouldn't go back to that way for anything.

People that knew me before never thought I'd adjust but I have, big time! I could never go back. I even get nervous just going into a big city now!

We live the country life...gardening, canning, we have our own chickens for eggs (7 hens and 2 roosters)! We chop wood for the fire, get up in the middle of the night to make sure the fire's still going. (Yes, we have heat but we use the fireplaces mostly.)

That reminds me, today we were at the festival and one of the booths had a little table set up with sesame street chairs set up so the kids could make bead necklaces. & I had to ask the lady if I could buy one of her chairs. I had the same chairs when I was a kid, I still have one but the other broke a long time ago, I wanted it sooo bad, but it wasn't for sale

I'm Back :wave2: -had to play with the dwarf hamsters 1st- :flower: we have one black and white one(Oreo) and a pathetic blind one-who has lost her eyes one at a time-yucky-she just bit me twice-a little more bity now that she's totally blind-can't blame her too much though

OMG! Poor thing!! We have a Chinesse dwarf hamster, that I love! I told my mom I was worried about how andie will take it when he dies, but I've gotten really attached to him too.

I hate to admit it but it has happened to me! I went out with my cousins a few years ago to a club and I was dancing with this guy and all of a sudden he licked my face!!! I was soo grossed out I ran to the bathroom and washed my face!!!
