My son had a great time. We took him to the childrens part and there was a rooster that was going nuts. He was totally in awe of the noises. We've taken him three times so far. He loves animals. We're going next month for Boo! at the Zoo, and then if the weather is ok they have Christmas lights at night.

Best part of that program, other than the price and the free spell check, is it blocked almost 150 pop ups for me. I have two firewalls and security software. It took almost a year to do it, but thats still 150 pop-ups I didn't have to look at.

Salt playdough (not-eatable)
1 cup water
1 cup salt
1/2 cup flour
food coloring

Mix ingredients in pan. Add food coloring. Stir on low heat. When
thickens remove from heat. Put some on waxed paper or floured surface
and roll out. Cut out objects. Air dry objects few days. Store un-used
portion in air-tight container.

Kool Playdough
3 cups Flour
1/2 cups salt
2 Koolaide packages
2 cups Boiling water

Mix dry ingredients together. Add boiling water. Knead on floured board
can add flour by sprinkles until desired consistency. This playdough
will last for a long time when stored right.

OATMEAL PLAYDOUGH
1 part flour
1 part water
2 parts oatmeal

Mix ingredients. This in NOT edible. Keep this one refridgerated otherwise you will have another science experiment
Gluey Dough

1 cup flour

1 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup white glue

1/2 cup water

Mix flour, cornstarch and glue. Slowly add just enough water to make a dough. Knead until soft and pliable.

I have never heard of it.. Neither has my son.. what the heck is going on in mass..why did we miss out on those maps

what is a relief map??

It's where you use clay/dough to make mountains, hills, valleys, islands etc. Then you paint it.

It's really just a fun project :flower: -helps kids to see things in a different perspective-I love the real relief maps at school when I was a kid-they had all the mountain ranges and different elevations on them-They are made out of plastic and really cool-the clay ones are just fun for the kids-especially with all the colors you can add :)
