Can I just tell you how upset I am right now.
I called home to see how DD's day went and she mentioned that the teacher said I had a Parent Teacher conference today. I told DD no I have one on Friday are you sure the teacher didn't say Friday. DD said no Mommy she said today. Great. I call the school and talk to the office lady to see if the Teacher is still in the school. They buzz down to her room and said yes she is still here and wants to know if I am going to be there for the conference. I told her no as I would take me longer than 20 mins to get from work to school. I just feel sick. Why in th world would I schedule a meeting for a Tuesday afternoon when I am working as I am at school EVERY single Friday.

I just can't believe this. And the worst part is that I never got a chance to talk to the teacher. So now I have to send a note into school tomorrow.

You are not the bad guy here. As a parent, you are entitled to discuss your child with the teacher any time at all, not just at conference time!

I am at school every single Friday. Never missed a one last year.
The teacher is lucky that I call home every day to see how DD's day is. Or else she would have waited around another 20 minutes for me. Because DD wouldn't have been able to tell me until I get home at night.
