I know that feeling. We had a tiny storm come thru and we were without power for 24 hours. And let me tell you it gets hot in a house in florida with no air movement.
DH didn't want to leave the house just in case the power came back on he wanted to be there to make sure nothing happened.

I guess we could claim it on our Home owner insurance-but it is probably less than our deductable to get fixed(at least I hope so anyways) :confused3 -Oh well-it will be awhile til we can get anyone out here anyways-still too much damage and power outages in this area

Power came up at 3pm'ish :cheer2: -Of course after I went and got my Mom's generator :rolleyes: -at least it's working now!!!!!!(sure was a tuff night!!)

It was compared to a Cat I-Hurricane(70+miles/hr)-straight winds(sheer winds) and it rained like crazy!!! Never seen rain quite like that-sheets upon sheets of horizontal rain in waves-very impressive
