Must be nice. We have been back in school for 3 weeks now.
And we went to WDW for the end of the summer celebration.
Ohhhh-I would much rather go to Disney :banana: -but this helps a little-My kids start school Sept 1st-we like that better than Aug 1st :earseek: -but we plan on moving next June/July to GA and they start 1 or 2nd week in Aug, that will be a big adjustment for my kids!!!

but i just got a phone call

my Mom has DD 2 on the way to the ER

they went away for a few days to there camp and DD cut her foot this AM
so Momis taking her for stitches so we may not go if walking hurts

i hate this i am over 3 hours away so by the time i could get there they would be done and on the way home so i am just waiting for the call

My Mom was talking about taking my DD6 to Maine for a trip to see my Brother over the holiday. I made a comment about not sure if that was a good idea. My Mom said "don't you trust me". I told her it has nothing to do with trust. It has everything to do with if something were to happen my DD would be way too far out of my reach to get there.

So needless to say if there is a trip to Maine, I will be on that plane also.

We live in NY and they have been as far as Maine without us going to visit my Brother when he lived there

DH would Never let them go to WDW without us
mainly cause he loves WDW and would want to go
but they spend alot of time at my parents especially over the summer when we are both working

I would worry more if they were flying too

Funny story. DH and I are not used to having time to ourselves. DD stayed the night at her cousins house one time. And when we got home DH and I just sat there looking at each other. Saying how weird it was not to have her there. We both woke up early and raced up to pick her up. Sad isn't it?

and an update on my DD
she just called she cut between her 2nd and third toes needed 4 stitches
and she cut her toenail

and an update on my DD
she just called she cut between her 2nd and third toes needed 4 stitches
and she cut her toenail
they have her in one of those weird looking shoes and she says it HURTS

Oh poor thing. You never know. She might feel better if she stays off her foot over the weekend. Or you could push her around in a wheelchair.
