Yesterday we went to meet the teacher and she found out that there was only one other kid from her Kindergarten class. What does my DD want to do. Sit down with the Principal and talk about why this happened.... :rotfl:

If you look on the CB board where it lists all the threads, one row says replies...click on the number of replies for the thread that you want to see the list for and it will list the people who replied to that thread from highest to lowest. Or you could just start from the first post and count yourself.

Yeah, but I got over him a looooooooong time ago! It's not really a big deal to me anymore. It only bothers me when I know he see's my brother and his family, but I found out it was all my brothers fault. He said he didn't know if I wanted to see Mike or be around him so he wouldn't call me to come over when came to visit. I guess he was trying to help in his own way, but I think that should be my choice if I want to see him or not

It was fun. The best part was calling home and ds6 asking "when are you coming home?" When I got home he said "It feels like I haven't seen you all day!" He literally tackled me down to the ground hugging me!! :love:

Best feeling in the world for me was yesterday. My wife will give son a bottle and bring him in around 5 or 6 with her. I usually leave for work around that time, but I went in late yesterday. He rolled over when he woke up looked me in the eyes and said "Daddy, la la la". His first word was dada(now its daddy), but we weren't sure if he actually knew who mommy and daddy where.

I was wondering....when I was in 4th & 5th grade we lived in the Kankakee area while my Dad went to college. My Dad had an aunt that lived in Blue Island and we used to drive up there all the time to visit. Is that area all still the same....do you know?

Blue Island seems about the same. Thats way on the other side of town from me now, but my parents live on that side. Not near BI, but I drive past it once every so often. Its kind of an older neighborhood. Western Ave. cuts through it.

well, we hung around the house all day, then went to Target and Holcomb's to let the kids pick out school supplies. It is so hot here today... YUCK!
