Ok so as you all know I'm not a computer geek :badpc: but how do you change fonts and color all I get when I try is a small pop up box(if it's too complicated I'll go to the tech board )

you highlight the text you want and then go up to the size or color button up top.. the only thing is you need to highlight it for each thing you do.. so first hightlight for size, then hightlight for color, then hightlight for what ever else you want to do

we have used K12s (http://www.k12.com) curriculum for the past 3 years.

This year we're going a little bit different and using Calvert and we're going to try a charter school called Connections Academy (http://www.connectionsacademy.com)

It is a public school, so this year they will be on a regular school schedule, but just taught from home. Keeping our fingers crossed that we will still be able to block our vacations off as we have done in the past.

well it depends on how cooperative they are!! ds10 does most of his work on his own. He grabs his books/lessons and asks for help if he needs to.

dd8 & ds6 have me teach them directly still. It can be anywhere from 4-6 hours a day.

well my dd wanted to tell a joke sooo bad, but they never picked her. So she planned for a whole week where we were going to sit, when we had to get there by, how she was going to get their attention, etc.

so we go, we sit, she stands, waves arms, gets their attention.

Tells her joke "why doesn't Pooh Bear wear shoes?"

they tell her............... "sorry you can't tell that joke, it's not clean"
