Does anyone have a picture of their receipt from a restaurant while using the 2008 dining plan? I want to see what it looks like with showing how many table services are remaining and wording regarding gratuity, etc. Also if anyone has some from snack and counter services
thanks so much

Do they give you a reciept to show what the meal "would" have cost without a dining plan?
Thank YOu for posting those.

At a TS meal, they will bring out the check with the costs shown but once you give them your DDP card, they bring back a receipt with all zeros (they keep the one with the costs shown). For snacks and CS, they do not show you the receipts with the costs at all. It was frustrating because I would have liked to have the costs shown so I could calculate how much was spent. Instead I wrote down the totals on the TS receipts so I could remember and I looked at the AllEars menu to figure how much was spent on everything else.

I have a tip on this!
We ran into this when we did the DDP in October. I got in the habit of looking at the cash register as they rang me up. Before they swipe your card, you can see the actual total.
(I know this doesn't help you now, but for next time...):goodvibes

I also remembered how much the CS and snacks cost until I got to the table, and scribbled it on the receipt.

bedell32--
Is the 18% grat automatically added, as it is with the DDE, or did you just happen to tip 18%? And how did you pay the gratuity, with your KTTW, a credit card, or cash?
Thanks! :)

We were part of a party of eight so they automatically split the tip among our individual parties. I used my KTTW to charge the tip.
I will add that when I added up all that was spent. We had saved over $140! :cool1:
The DDP was so much fun to use. I loved ordering anything I want regardless of the price.

Also does anyone have any table service ones that do not show the amount of tip you have to pay? I thought there were some that gave you options of tip amounts.

You know, you can just keep the receipt from TS that shows the amounts.
