Just in time to start planning a new Disney trip, I've finally finished my Disney album. I was a year behind in scrapping when I started it. Now I'm a year and eight months behind. :confused3
Anyway, I thought I'd pop over here and post it since I never got to finish my trip report. This will be LONG, and very picture heavy, so if you've a slow computer, consider yourself warned! Thanks for looking!

I agree. I especially liked the Under the Sea page and the Chef Mickey where you cut out the ears and used the ribbon as the film edge (or what ever you call it). Cute!

Thank you all! :goodvibes I was happy with the album, but it's nice to hear that others like it, too.
By the way - forgot to say. There are hidden (or, in some cases, not-so-hidden) Mickeys on each page of the album. I put a few Mickeys on the first few, and my kids demanded I continue, lol.

LOVE IT! I don't know which is my favorite by the one with Mickey where his ears are cut off is so creative! I love how you paper pieced him! If we ever get back to disney I may have to scrap lift a few!
Where did you find the letters for Pixie dust and once upon a time????? IS that from the mat stack?
Great job! And looked like a great trip!

Loved, loved, LOVED, your pages!! I especially loved that not every page was black, yellow, red, blue... you know... those traditional "Disney" colors that are so easy to fall back on! Your color selections were so unexpected but FABULOUS!
Sadly (or not, depending on your POV), we are returning to Disney in a few weeks and I STILL haven't even started scrapbooking our 2005 trip to DL (not to mention our 2006 trip to Washington, DC, or our 2007 trip to NYC... the list goes on and on).
Thanks for sharing and thanks for the inspiration! .....................P

What a fantastic album! Thanks for sharing it. I love how you took pictures of surprising the kids with the trip. I also laughed at your "Notorious Epcot Day" with the fights and crankiness on the side. We have one of those days every trip - I think its inevitable when have that much family togetherness 24/7.

LOL. Got 98 seventh graders, myself. But my own kids are a bit older, so I can squeeze in scrap time because they're past the age of needing Mommy every minute. Plus, they helped with the book. Wouldn't try that with a one year old! :rotfl:

I love this page! And all the rest as well. You did an absolutely wonderful job!
The small "Expedition Everest" logo that's "falling" out of the folder was just printed in black and white from on-line, (I think I searched "Expedition Everest Logo" on Google Images) and then distressed. The words along the side were printed from Microsoft Word - I can try to figure out the fonts for you when I'm on that computer. I just cut that part of the paper off, printed, and then hid the cut under the black strip of paper.
I'll look for those fonts later. Glad you liked it!
(And thanks again everyone for your kind words - I'm glad to hear I've inspired you!)

Where does everyone find their "letters?" For example, on page 1, the LO of Dumbo Magic -- the smaller writing along the side, or on the Double Tigger page. I am always looking for cool letters to use for the smaller "journaling" as I do not have very nice handwriting.

This was kinda my question. What is the font that you used for the "Pessimist" on the Eeyore page? Is that a Cricut Cart? I noticed that font a few times throughout and I like it!

How did you get the photo on your first page of your family with all the characters? Awesome!
We were lucky enough to be picked as the Magic Kingdom Family of the Day. We got to go through the turnstiles before the park opened, got whisked down Main Street on a firetruck with bells ringing, and then were allowed to wander an empty Toontown. Then, 10 characters appeared, got a picture with us, and rode the train with us to Main Street station where our name was announced and we got to throw confetti to "open" the park. We then had our picture taken on the station steps with Mickey, Donald, Minnie, and the mayor of Main Street. It was SOOO much fun, and such a wonderful way to end the trip. We'll never top that one!

Nope, no Cricut here. It's stickers - Sarah Script by American Crafts. I use it a lot - I think I have three partially used sheets in my drawer right now.
Where does everyone find their "letters?" For example, on page 1, the LO of Dumbo Magic -- the smaller writing along the side, or on the Double Tigger page. I am always looking for cool letters to use for the smaller "journaling" as I do not have very nice handwriting.
Most of the smaller writing you see on my pages are computer fonts. I just print on the cardstock. If it appears to be printed on a 12x12 piece, I've actually cut the paper and run it through the printer, and the cut is hidden behind page elements. The T - I - Double GG - ER page is stickers for the title (I think American Crafts again, plus Making Memories - it's mixed) and the various tigger-ific sayings are cut from a sheet of patterned paper.
Hope that helps a little!
