Hi guys - I'm not a tween, but my two sons are -- Nathan will be 12 1/2 when we sail and Zachary will be 11 1/4. Nathan will be in 7th grade and Zachary will be in 5th grade. They both love Ocean Quest.

The reason they aren't posting yet is that this trip is still a SURPRISE. I haven't told them that we're going on a Disney Cruise for Christmas, and I want to keep it a surprise for them, but then I also want them to get a chance to know you other kids who will be sailing just like I'm getting to know your moms and dads on the main thread.

So I'll read and post over here for them until I decide if I'm going to spoil their surprise. What do you guys think? Should we tell them or wait til we leave from school that afternoon to drive to the Port? What would you want your parents to do? I tried to surprise them a few years ago with a trip to Disney World for spring break but I ended up blabbing it the day before we were leaving. They now call me a big blabbermouth :)

I hope that this cruise will have a big turnout but not too big because then it would be not as much fun.

That was the same for me because my mom tried to make this cruise a secret too, but she talked about one night at dinner and i`m so happy!:banana: :banana:

Do any of you play Pirates online? Zachary does and Nathan does (sometimes) so I was thinking if you are, maybe you all could "meet" on Pirates and get to know each other that way and then I won't have to spoil the surprise (yet) and how fun that would be that a "Pirates friend" just happens to also be going on the surprise Christmas cruise!

We have a cruise over spring break that they know we're going on, so maybe after we go on that one I might tell them. But not yet.

Hiya. I'm a mom, but don't kick me out :) My boys don't know about this cruise (it's still a surprise for them for Christmas) but they are 12 and 11. Nathan is 12 and Zachary is 11. I hope you all will come with your parents to the Meet at the Promenade Lounge on the first day (at 3 p.m.) to get a chance to meet all the other tweens and teens and kids.

Because it's a surprise, I can't tell them to come over here and post and get to know you guys. But hopefully you all will meet up onboard.
