Here is my cast of characters
Me 36 Stay at home mom. I started planning this trip two years ago when we got back from our 2006 Mardi Gras Disney World trip.
DH He loves Disney World too. This was his second trip. He leaves all the planning up to me.
DD 15. She loves The Little Mermaid. She is the typical teenager. She causes me to think "Maybe I am stupid" I pray I can just get through this teenage stage with her. She loves to point out how uncool I am every chance she gets.
DS 10. He is my little man. He still wants as much of my attention as he can possibly get. I know I better soak this up because it might be gone with the wind soon.
DD 7months old. Our little baby. In case you are wondering about why there is such a large gap between her and the other two children, I will explain. It took us nine years to get pregnant for her. We wanted a big family and it just didn't happen. We are so blessed to have her. Our little surprise.

This is a picture of us taken in Atlanta in December.
Now that the introductions are out of the way I can start my report.
DAY ONE
We made it to the airport about one hour before our flight was to take off. I figured that was plenty of time since our airport is very small. I was wrong because after we checked in all 8 of our bags (yes, I overpacked big time) we got in line for security. I have never seen a line that long at our airport before. The line was stretched out to Hong Kong. When we were almost to the end of the line they were anouncing the final boarding call for our flight :scared1: . I was freaking out. My husband kept telling me to calm down they were not going to leave us but I started crying like a big baby. I started telling him that it was his fault because he had to stop for a bottle of water on the way to the airport. When I got to security the lady didn't even look in the diaper bag to see if I had any bombs . I said "This is the diaper bag" and she said, "Just go before you miss the plane".
Once we were settled on the plane the baby fell asleep. Thank God. She was so good on the plane. I was scared about what she would do, but she did fine. I am sad that we don't have any pictures from the airport because we were so rushed we didn't have time to stop and pose for pictures.
We landed in Atlanta and then we hurried to get to the gate for our flight to Orlando. We had like 30 minutes between flights so we didn't mess around. When we got to the gate they had already made the final boarding call:scared1: I freaked out again. I can't believe we almost missed this flight too. Again we didn't have time to take pictures at this airport either.:sad2: Now we were finally on our way to Orlando.
We started this trip out with me feeling rushed. It continued for some reason. When we landed in Orlando I felt like we needed to hurry to make it to magical express. I guess I thought we were going to miss it if we didn't hurry. I finallly calmed down once we say Roy at the red carpet. He told us to make a wish as we crossed the red carpet to get to the Magical Express. Thats when my eyes teared up and I felt like the magic was starting and we were officially at Disney World.:goodvibes I felt the stress just lift off of me.
Coming up next................
Did my wish come true?

Glad to see you've started your trippie! I'm excited to hear how your trip worked with a teen and an infant. My DS just turned 15 and we're TTC (Trying to Conceive) number two. We're planning a trip for Spring of '09...hopefully with a new little Disney addict!

Your airport experience sounds like something that would happen to me. I'm glad that you were able to put that all behind you as soon as you stepped onto the ME carpet and fell under the spell of the Magic of Disney!

I get the same way at airports. We also are in Louisiana and have a very small airport, so we tend to get there a bit later than we should, and I am always arguing with DH that we should have gotten there sooner. Somehow, it has always worked out.
I can't wait to read the rest of your report.

I always love the feeling of stepping onto the first monorail ride of our trip...you know, the one at MCO! It still makes me feel like we're at Disney!

We've been TTC for the past year, although I would've liked to start earlier. My DS15 is from a previous relationship and while DH and I have been together for 8 years, we've only been married for 2 1/2. It's been a tough journey already, and with my age (35) and DH being 40, it's especially tough when things aren't covered by insurance because DH is 40.
We'll keep trying, though!

Extra  for you for going through nine years of TTC! It certainly was worth it! What a beautiful inspiration she is!

Day one part two
The Magical Express took us to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Check in went very smooth, there was no line. We decided to stay at akl because ds loves animals. He wants to own his own zoo one day. He really wanted to stay at akl. When I booked our room they told me that they didn't have any Savana view rooms available. I was upset because ds really wanted to see the animals from our balcony. I called back a few more times over the next couple of months and tried to upgrade to savana view but they would never let.
Now getting back to my red carpet wish. I wished the same thing as ds. We both wished for an upgrade on our room to savana view. Guess what!!! Our wish came true. I don't remember the name of the cm who checked us in but she was sweet. Everyone at akl was extra nice except for our mousekeeper. I will tell you more about her later.
The check in cast member who upgraded us for FREE said " I can upgrade you but I am so sory you will be able to see the construction from your balcony." I can't believe she was sory I was just happy that ds would be able to sit on the balcony and see giraffes. I am not going to complain I was just thankful for her helping us out.
Here is a picture of our view. We were lucky because ds is fascinated with construction as well as animals. So we didn't mind the construction at all. We watched the giraffes and other animals . We also watched the men put up the side walls of the villas. Cool.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0938.jpg
After check in our room wasn't ready so we went eat lunch at the food court. I can't believe it but I forgot the name of the food court. After lunch our room was ready. We went put some of our cary on bags up and then we headed to MK. When we got to the bus stop a bus was pulling up and we were still a little ways off and I did my freak out thing again. I was like telling dh to run and I thought we were going to miss the bus. I guses I was having a flash back from the airport. :rotfl2: DD 15 (Courtney) said that I was acting like a nerd. I am glad I didn't trip.:rotfl:
Our flight landed at 10:40 and we were in MK for 2:00.

GEROGE:eek:
I read on the disboards that Pirates of the Carabiean is haunted by a ghost named George. He was a welder that was killed while building the ride. The cm have to tell him goodmorning everyday when they open and goodnight when they leave or the ride will break down. I also read that if you say "I don't believe in George " while riding poc it might break down. Well, I told this to my kids and of course they wanted to try it and see what would happen.
I just wanted to explain my title.;)

Great update! :thumbsup2 Great view from your room - I wouldn't have minded the construction if it came with a free upgrade! Thanks for sharing the timing between when your flight arrived and what time you arrived at MK. Our April trip is so short we want to take advantage of every minute - I've been trying to figure out how long it will take us to get from the airport, checked in and to a park. I'll allow a little more time than it took you since you had such a smooth check-in. I can't wait to hear what happens with George! :goodvibes

I would be happy for you to join in. Thanks for the statement about all of you children being conceived with lots of help and prayers. That encourages me because I really would like another one. I am praying about going for another trip to the fertility doctor. When we made our magic carpet wish at Disney I wished for two things. I already said what the first one was (for a savana view upgrade). The second one which I have kept a secret untill now was for another baby. My friend would think that I am crazy if the knew that because first of all I am 36 and it took nine years for us to get pregnant for Grace. The second thing is that everyone seems to assume that we would not possibly want anymore children. People say to me all the time that she is my little cabose. It makes me mad that they assume that. Am I wrong for wanting more? I just don't feel like my family is complete yet. Sory to go off topic but I felt like venting. Thanks for listening.;)

I think its rude for ppl to assume you are just done or that you have enough kids. Some families are complete after one and others arent complete until they have had 6 or more. I always wanted a big family but after several failed IVF treatments, several miscarriages, and 2 failed infant adoptions, we decided to be foster to adopt parents. We now have 3 and I still want more, my friends think I am crazy and I am sure my family does too. If you want more, go for it!

I know! After we had success with the frozen IVF cycle for the twins....I was getting the "Oh, now you have the perfect family, a boy and a girl. I bet you're done!" Ummmm...no, why do you get to question our fertility decisions? Argh. And then....after we got pregnant (again, frozen IVF cycle, same batch of embryos)....."Oh, why? Oh I hope you get to have another Baby!!! Don't worry about what others say, just do what makes you happy. Follow your heart. That's what I am going to do, and of course, say prayers for guidance.
We have a 16 month old which took 4 and half years to get here! Then, we decided when he turned one to have another, and it happened within two months, but I will very sadly say that last week I had a miscarriage!! I am so sad about it, b/c you see, I will be 36 next month and who knows how much time I have left. And don't get me started about the lectures that the doc gave me about being over 35 and Down's syndrome...
I am just thankful for these boards, b/c last weekend, while I was recovering from the m/c, I had to have bed rest for 4 days, and I was looking for Disney stuff b/c we were going to WDW in March and I came across these boards and since then, they have gave me something to do besides dwell on the miscarriage!!
So to all of you, I am thankful!!

Day One Continued
The first thing we did at MK is the Swiss Family Tree house. I did not enjoy it too much because of all the stairs and I had to carry Grace. She is so heavy she weighs twenty pounds. My arms were hurting. Here is a picture from the tree house.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0902.jpg
Next we rode Pirates of the Carabiean. We asked the cm is the ride was really haunted by "George" and she said yes. She told us that she has actually seen the ghost. She was working late one night and had to get something in a backroom and she saw him. While we were riding the ride Courtney, Brennan and I said, "I don't believe in George." Courtney took it further and said, "I really, really, don't believe in George and I am not kidding."
Nothing happened. The ride didn't break or stop. But after that some strange things happened. Several of the rides we rode on for the rest of the trip stopped for a few minutes due to techinical difficulties.
Here is a pic from POC

This zebra was so tired "Dead tired"
Next we went to the Tiki Room. After that we went to Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. When we got in line for our check in I recognized someone from disboards. It was Mickeycakelady. I got to meet my first dis person. We talked for a few minutes and then they were called to their table. I really wanted to take a picture with her. I told my dh that I wanted to take a picture with her but I was scared to ask her because I didn't know if she would because some people had been really mean to her on the boards. Courtney said, "Just go ask her, its just a picture . Its not like you are going to shoot laser beam at her":rotfl2:
I did ask her and she said yes. She also wanted to take a picture with me. Here is the picture we took. She is on the left.

After dinner we did Carosel of Progress. I love this. The song is so catching. Then next we did Buzz Lightyear. I rode with Courtney and Grace. Our laser broke (George??pirate: )
After that ride we went back to the resort because we were so tired because we had been up since 3:00am.

I don't know if you really want my advice because I overpacked big time.
I packed some bibsters. Those are disposable bibs. I was glad to have them because after I fed Grace her baby food I just threw the bib away and I didn't have to worry about adding dirty bibs to my lanundry pile. I packed a collapseable (sp?) hamper and some quarters (stored in a M&M minis tube) the quarters were for the washing machine. I packed baby blankets and quilt for the pack in play crib. I brought the disposable washcloths with baby soap already on them so I wouldn't have to pack babywash. Little swimers diapers for the pool. Baby tylenol. I was glad to have this. I will tell you why later in the trip report. If I think of anything else I will post it later.

You might not want to try it after you hear about all the rides that stopped working with us on it after we said we didn't believe in George. I put thispirate: symbol by it in my report. I have already posted a couple but there will be more.

Day two
We slept late or tried to anyway. We woke up at 8:00. Well all of us except Courtney. I couldn't get her out of bed even when I told her we were going eat breakfast and swimming. We just left her in the room sleeping. We went eat breakfast. After breakfast we went swimming.
Here is a picture of the pool
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0935.jpg
Here is Brennan going down the water slide
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0936.jpg
We hung around the pool for about an hour. When I was in the pool with Brennan there was a French lady standing by the pool talking to her kids in the pool. She was wearing a bikni and she had huge obviously fake ****ies her top had shifted and her nipple was all the way out. I noticed it and another lady must have seen at the same time as me because she was giving the french lady the evil eye. I should have said something but I was too shocked and I don't speak french. I don't have a picture of this but I just wanted to tell my little story.
We went back to the room and woke Courtney up so we could go to Epcot.
Here is a picture of Brennan and Grace when we went back to the room they were waiting for Courtney to get ready.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0942.jpg
We got to Epcot around 11:30. We went on Spaceship Earth. I love the new ending. I rode with Courtney and we laughed at the end. I won't say too much about the ride because I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't been on it since it was refurbished. Oh I forgot to mention that it broke down for about five minutes when we rode it (George??pirate: ).
After Spaceship Earth we went eat lunch. I forgot the name of the counter service place we went to but we had chicken tenders. I loved the cheesecake there. I didn't get to take pictures of the food because I had my hands full with Grace. She was sooo good on this trip. Poor baby we drug her all over the place and she had to nap in her stroller. When she had enough she made it known to everyone around us. It was harder to do everything with a baby than I thought it was going to be. I would hate to do this with a baby that wasn't being as good as Grace. princess:
After lunch we went to Mexico and rode the boat ride there. Guess what?? It broke (George?pirate: )
When I say a ride broke I mean that it stopped for about 5 minutes and the recording was on saying, please stay seated we are having techinal difficulties.
After that we headed back to AKL. We needed to change and head over to MK for the P&P Party. Did I mention how comfortable the beds are at AKL. OMG I slept soooooooooooo good. We stayed at Boardwalk in 2006 and there beds were uncomfortable.
Up Next Did Courtney wear her Elizabeth Swan costume to the party?.............

I am all caught up and subscribing. I think your family make-up is awesome. My husband is the 3rd of 4 children. He has 2 brothers that are 10 and 12 years older than himself, he also has a sister that is 15months younger. It is a very neat family dynamic. The two oldest are close and so is DH and his sister. However, they all have special things in common like DH and his eldest brother are both intense musicians. The other 2 have a similar love of TV. Because DH became an uncle at 21 years old he got very close to his niece (as he did not yet have a family of his own to keep him busy). Our niece is now in college and DH is the cool uncle that all her friends envy. They my space and he constantly sends her songs on I-Tunes.

pirate: princess: Pirate & Princess Party
Tuesday Feburary 5th
We got ready for the party. Brennan put on his Jack Sparrow costume. Courtney helped him by putting eyeliner on him. She really caked it on. He did look like Jack Sparrow though. I put Grace's little princess hat and tutu on her (sha! she was so cute).
Now getting to miss Courtney. I told you earlier about the issue her and I had over the Elizabeth Swan costume but I will recap. She made me order it because she had to have it. She really wanted to dress up for the party. When it came in she said she liked it. I told her to be sure because it wasn't too late to send it back. She said she was sure and she was keeping it. That was settled. NOT!

Opps I accidentally hit the button before I was finished posting.
About 1 week before our trip when I was packing Courtney told me she was not wearing the costume. I was mad. To make a long story short she was sassy and I punished her. Later I told her that if she would agree to wear the costume I would let her off her punishment. She said ok. I knew what she would do when we got to disney world so I told her if she backed out of her end of the deal she would be punished for two weekends instead of one when we got home. She was mad but she agreed.
Well she was mad but she put on the costume. She started to look happy I think she liked it. She was joking around. Everything was fine until we left the room. The first time we saw anyone in the hallway she got mad at me. She pouted all the way to the bus. By the time we got to our bus stop she was saying that she looked so stupid and Brennan was now starting to look worried.
Courtney just got madder and Brennan looked more worried. By the time we got to the park Brennan started crying. I told him to stop before his eyeliner started running. This freaked him out. You should have seen his face he wanted to cry but he was scared of the eyeliner running. I was so mad at Courtney and let me tell you she had really overdone his eyeliner it was on thick.
This is the picture of Brennan at the entrance to the park
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0947.jpg
Here is the picture of Courtney and Grace at the park entrance. This is the only picture of Courtney in her costume.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0946.jpg
She is smiling but she is probablly cursing me under her breath.
Guess what she did. As soon as we entered the park she went to the bathroom and changed. When she came back she said she had held up her end of the deal. She had worn her costume to the party.:headache: I guess she got me.
We had ADRs for Tony's at 6:00 and it was 5:30 when we arrived at the park. Brennan had really wanted to go to Tom Sawyer Island and we hadn't gone the day before so dh and Brennan hurried to TSI before dinner. Courtney and I hurried to Ariel's Grotto because she wanted her autograph and we were not sure if she was going to be at the party. When we got there she wasn't there but the cm said she would be back for the party. We went back to wait for our ADRs at Tonys. Dh called and said TSI was closed when they got there the cm said it closes when it gets dark. Brennann was upset so dh took him to ride IASW before dinner. I had wanted Brennan to read Tom Sawyer because I knew he would enjoy it but he refused. Well he had done something to get me upset so I punished him about a month before our trip and the punishment was that he had to read Tom Sawyer. He was mad at first then he started to get into the book. He ended out loving the book and he couldn't wait to go to Tom Sawyer Island. I felt so bad for him missing out on it.
When dh and ds came back from IASW it was time for dinner. We were seated and ordered our food. Brennan and I ordered spaghettie and meatballs Courtney ordered chicken parmasan (sp) and dh ordered some shrimp pasta I don't remember what it was called. Grace was acting up so I fed her some baby food. She was being quite a handful because she didn't like her baby seat high chair. We should have brought her stroller into the restaurant. I took her out of the high chair to hold her and they brought out our food. As soon as the waitress left Grace reached out and grabbed a handful of spaghettie. She started screaming it was very hot. She had burned her hand because she didn't let go of it at all. We had to wipe it out of her hand when we realized what she had done.
I took her to the ladies room to put cold water on her hand but it did not help. She was crying so bad that I just sat with her in the waiting area. The manager came out and brought me some ice and he told me to take her to first aid. Dh eventually came looking for me and I told him to go eat and when he would finish to come and trade places with me. After about 15 minutes she finally calmed down. Dh took her outside and I ate a few bites. None of us ate much of our food at all that night. Not only because of the accident but it wasn't that good. Grace was fine by the end of dinner so we didn't go to first aid. I gave her some tylenol .

I know the eyeliner thing is funny now but not at the time. I forgot to mention why he was crying. It was because he now thought he looked stupid too and with all courtney's carrying on he now thought that he was going to be the only stupid kid dressed as a pirate. Once he saw other pirates he felt much better.

After dinner we headed over to Pirates of the Carabiean and rode it again. The cm commented on how pretty Brennan's eyes were. She asked if he was a boy or girl. He was embarrassed again. I guess the eyemakeup threw her off.The wait time was only like 5 minutes.Brennan kept saying I do believe in George and Courtney kept saying that she didn't. Nothing happened our boat didn't stop. George probabbly felt sorry for Brennan he was so scared. Grace slept on this ride.
Next we went to ride Big Thundre Mt. Railroad. The wait time was only 5 minutes so they were not even doing baby swap. Dh and the kids rode and Grace and I just sat and she had a good time smiling at people until they couldn't help themselves but to stop and talk to her. She has that affect on people. It takes me so long to shop because people keep stopping me to talk to Grace and comment on how pretty she is. Dh and the kids just walked onto the ride with practically no wait. The kids were excited to ride again.Cool
Courtney was even having fun. When it was my turn to ride with the kids we had practically no wait either.
Here is a Picture of us in front of BTMR . I was wearing my shirt that I made from the creative disigns board . It said "I am the Mom feel free to treat me like a queen". I had even sewed sequins around the design. Courtney said that I had no shame to wear that ugly shirt.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0949.jpg
Next we rode HM. There was no wait time. The last time we did this the walls were broken and didn't stretch but this time they worked. I loved that part. Grace took a little nap during this ride but the rest of us had a good time on it.
After HM Courtney and dh waited in line for Ariels autograph. I sat with Grace and gave her a bottle. We watched the Sebastian's dance party it was so cute to see the little kid danceing. I tried to get Brennan to dance with me but he was not going to do it. While we were waiting the fireworks began. Dh left Coutney in line and joined me and Brennan and Grace to watch the fireworks. Courtney waited longer than 30 min. for that autograph. I told dh to take Brennan on Dumbo while I waited for Courtney around 5 minutes after they went get in line for Dumbo Courtney had her autograph.
I had bought Courtney a Ariel bag from Wal-mart before we left home and Courtney got Ariel to autograph the bag. It came out so cute. The bag was only 6.95. I wish I would have bought the one with the princesses on it. I went back to wal-mart yesterday to get the princess one because I was going to save it for our next trip to get it autographed for Grace. Wal-mart in our town doesn't have anymore. I am going to start searching different wal-marts for another one.

http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/image017.jpg
Grace took a little nap again and now Courtney and I had to wait for dh and Brennan to ride Dumbo. They must have waited 30 minutes. It was another long wait for me. Courtney had the nerve to complain about having to wait for them after we had just waited for her to get Ariels autograph.
Courtney and I didn't get in line to ride Dumbo because I didn't want to wake up Grace because she was fussy since she had burned her hand. I was disappointed that I didn't get any Dumbo pics of the boys. I really wanted to ride Dumbo with Grace. Oh well I am going to have to wait until our next trip.
We rode It's a small world next. Again there was no wait we walked on. Grace was wide awake for this ride and she loved it. I think it was her favorite.
We went on Peter Pan next and by then the crowds we getting large. We waited about 20 minutes. That is a long time when you are holding a twenty pound baby that is fussing and listening to a grouchy teenager complain. Courtney complained because she didn't want to wait in line for a ride that she said was stupid. It was quite a stressful wait.
We rode pooh next. Again Courtney complained about the wait (which was about 25 minutes) she said that this was a stupid ride too. I felt like sticking the pacifier in her mouth since she was acting like a big baby.
Guess what! The pooh broke while we were riding it. It stopped two time for about 5 minutes each time (George? pirate: )
After pooh Courtney and Brennan and dh rode teacups. I sat on the side because I didn't want to disturb Grace. She wanted to be left alone in her stroller.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0950.jpg
We didn't have time to go to toontown which I was disappointed about. I love minnies house and goofys barnstormer. We headed over to space mountain and the wait time was 60 minutes and it was so late. Grace was done and it was 11:00. Brennan and Courtney were disappointed. Then Brennan wanted to ride the people mover I hated to tell him no but I was not about to take Grace out of the stroller again and Courtney had already started telling him that the people mover was stupid:rolleyes: . I am going to buy her a pacifer for our next trip.
Before the trip I bought Courtney and Brennan pins on ebay and they had been trading them all night. I was surprised that Courtney participated in this but she enjoyed it.
On our way out we stopped at casey's and had some french fries. I was sad when we were leaving because I knew we wouldn't be back to MK on this trip. I was so tired though.
I seemed like a long ride back to AKL. Grace cried for a while on the bus. I finally calmed her down and then I had to wake her up to put her back in the stroller for the long walk back to our room.
When we got back to the room the kids were excited to see if we had any towel animals. We had left the mousekeeper a tip in a cute envelop I had printed from the mouse for less. I had also left a stuffed mickey and minie and a giraffe out on the bed. We had no towel animal and the stuffed animals were just thrown back on the foot of the bed. We were disappointed but I told the kids maybe she will do it tomorrow. I forgot to mention that this morning I had to go find our mousekeeper to ask for a do not disturb sign because Courtney was sleeping and we wanted to go to the pool. The mousekeeper had not been nice about giving me the sign at all.
On a more positive note EVERY othe cm at AKL was extra nice. I got Grace bathed and in bed then I walked with Courtney and Brennan to the food court to refill their mugs. I got some zebra domes. OMG they were sooooooo good. I wish I had some right now.
Up next Typhoon Lagoon Day 3

The P&P party sounds like it was a lot of fun. :) We did MNSSHP in October - it was a lot of fun. It was nice to go on the rides without long lines. I think we are going to skip P&P when we my mom & I go in April - we're only there two nights - and we're on a strict budget. We'll definitely do it next year on our family trip if it is going on. :thumbsup2

I looked for the bags yesterday and my wal mart was sold out. I am going to check other wal marts this week.
I hope you get better. My ear is starting to hurt and I feel like I am getting sick too. Grace has an ear infection. She was eight months old wed and I had to take her to the doctor because she was sick. This was her first time getting sick . Poor baby.
I don't think the party was worth the extra money. The treasure was just cheap beads and some fake gems. And it was crowded. I may not be being that fair about it because I was handeling a cranky baby because of her hurt hand. It didn't seem any different than a regular park night and it did cost alot of extra money.

I don't think it wasn't fun I just didn't have as much fun as I thought I would have had. I was upset about the long line for Dumbo and Space Mountain. I felt like we took up alot of time waiting for Ariels autograph too. I dont regret waiting for Ariel Courtney really had her heart set on meeting her. I don't think I will do the p&p party next time. We do better in the morning than late at night.

Awww, I'm so sorry Grace got burned by the food. Poor baby! I also hope her ear infection is clearing up. This weather changing back and forth has really gotten everyone sick! It's hard to kick it all out too.
Sorry about Courtney and the costume too. I'm not looking forward to the teen years. :lmao:
I'm sad to hear that about Tony's food. I made us ADR's there for May. I might be rethinking that one now. I had one for Feb but cancelled it and made one elsewhere.

The food wasn't bad it just wasn't something we would want to eat again. My kids are pickey eaters so you can't go by their judgement. I may have had a different opinion if I wasn't nervous about the baby. I may not have liked the food anywhere after that stressful cituation. You might like it. The bread they served for the apetizer was really good even Courtney loved it.

I checked the New Iberia Wal-Mart now I will check Lafayette. It isn't a backpack its a bag with a zip top. They had a few Disney Choices. We got Courtney's the day before the super bowl. They did have some bags like it but no Disney ones left yesterday. It was Courtney's idea to get it autographed I would never have thought of that. If I had known I would have bought a few because they were so cheap. I could have brought them to Disney World and gotten them autographed as gifts. Ariel's autograph is so cute. She draws some bubbles around her name. Thanks for looking and let me know if you see any ok.

If you step daughter turns into a teenager like mine you will definitely not have any eyebrows left. Courtney was not like this a few short years ago. The thing is people who know her would not believe she acts like this to me. I guess thats good that she is still showing her sweetness to others. I guess I am "safe" to take out her frustration on. I am having to learn to pick my battles wisely because I have not been winning many lately. I was such a good parent up until lately. The other day Brennan who is 10 said to me, "Moma I want you to think really hard ok. Can you remember where you went wrong with Courtney.":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

The person who designed personalized it for me and emailed it to me. I printed it out on laser inkjet transfer paper for dark colors. I got LOTS of compliments on my bag on vacation. I just got back from Walmart and unfortunately I didn't see any of the bags you were looking for. I did see a few small tinkerbell purses but they were not in good shape anyway. They had clearance stickers on them for $7.00. They looked like they were really cute at one time!:rotfl: Oh well, I'm sorry.
I did find this, though!! We ran across this on a row end cap when we were leaving. They had the one like this, and they had a lavendar one with princesses on it. ($24.95) Not that you can lug this around the park.:rotfl: Just thought it was cute. DS is already sitting on it right now playing a vsmile game. I LOVE the bags and your "I'm the Mom..." shirt you wore in WDW!
I LOVE that idea! I am hoping we CAN do that Disney Cruise, and if we do, I am taking that idea for souvies!!!
I wanted to bring home something small but special for a special neice of mine and nothing stood out to me-when we got to the P&PP they handed us an extra satin baggie and so I went in line with my kids-like a kid- and they filled it with all the jewels and beads(big deal:confused3 from NoLa!!) But the jewels were a HIT with me and my DD's. I also bought some cool hair things for her and put it all in that bag-she LOVED it. I told her abou the P&PP and how special that bag of jewels is. WE also got her a special Disney coloring book. We hit that Premier Character Outlet about 2 miles away from DD-it was WORTH it and much closer than expected. WE tried to find the other one but to no avail. Tell you all more about it on day 8 of my TR!!!

Those bags are CUTE!!!
He has big plans for which toys to put inside. :thumbsup2

I like it. Maybe I will go get Grace a princess one.
Lori
The jewls as a souvenier is a great idea. I wish I would have thought of that. I also wish I could have gone to the outlet but we flew and didn't have a car and dh hates shopping. Oh well.
Subbing, great report. I found you via MissCammie's trippie. Got run now, but thanks for telleing us your stroyr, I'll be back
I am glad you joined us. Isn't Miss Cammie funny? I love it.

Oh Kayyy, I'm on board and all subscribed up~!
Y'all just walk through the bra and panty section with your precious kids? I loved to torment my DS (almost 19) by taking him tampon shopping. "Mommy also needs some Summers Eve, sweetie" Bwahahaha!
He doesn't mind bra shopping anymore :rolleyes1
I can't wait till my DD is a teen and I'm suddenly stupid. Gads, that'll be FUN.
I totally believe in George too. Oh yes, he's really real.
We broke down in the fire scene for 20 minutes. Ugh. The second I said, "I guess I DO believe in George" it started up again.....:scared1: Talk about the willies! I get goose bumps just thinking of it.
Your baby Grace is sooooo cute! Look at those cheeks :cutie:

Bringing your boy to the tampon aisle is too funny. We do have much too learn:worship:
You think she is pissy missy now , JUST WAIT, you ain't seen nothing yet. My Courtney used to clean her room. She had everything perfect. If one of her friends sat on her bed they were off the list. She would not invite them back. She would make her bed and then pass the lint roller over the comfortor. NOW OMG. I don't go in her room because my dh might have to call search and rescue to come get me out . I could even get eaten by a wild animal that may be living in there (we would never know). The Yettie might be living up stairs for all I know.
Thank you. I think she is cute too. You think her cheeks are something, you should see her thighs. Brennan counted all the rolls the other day. People always say, "Look at those thighs". Can you imagine if we would do that to adults and say things like , "Wow you sure have a big butt what are you eating?"
We believe in George too pirate: . Especially since the cm said she saw him.
Thanks for joining us I am sure you will keep us laughing.

I just found and got caught up on your report.
I love Louisiana, especially New Oleans. I went for the first weekend of Mardi Gras (I do not like the big crowds for the second weekend).
I have two daughters and am dreading the teenage years. If they are half as moody as I was I am in trouble.
Can't wait to read more.

I wandered over from Jordan's trip report! I am only on page six so far, but I am definitely in popcorn:: . Grace is the most precious baby ever -- I see all these adorable babies on the DIS boards and start thinking...:rolleyes1 .
The George story is way creepy -- growing up in Charleston, we had all sorts of ghost stories, so I love hearing anything spooky... the George story definitely gives me chill bumps!

Day three
Began with a flash
We slept late. Later than I thought we would have. We woke up by Grace babbling in her crib. She sounded so happy. It was 10:30 WOW! I made her a bottle and started getting everyone up and moving. We had plans to go to Typhoon Lagoon. Brennan really wanted to swim with the sharks so that was the main reason we were going to the water park.
I dressed Grace in her little swim suit and swim diapper and put her in our bed to play with Brennan. Next thing I know Brennan is yelling Grace peeed in the bed. Yes she pee peed through her swim diapper and it got all over the sheets. I had more than one bathing suit for her thank God. I cleaned her up and I thought that was the end of the drama.
It was finally my turn to get my suit on. I went in the bathroom to change and I realized I forgot my suit in the drawer. I streaked into the room to get it (sorry Miss Cammie). I could have dropped dead right there. DH had opened not only the curtains but also the balcony door was wide open.:scared1:
Just a little reminder of our view. Well the construction workers had a view too that morning.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0938.jpg
I screamed and hit the deck quick. I was so mad. I am sure if the construction workers saw they probabbly wanted to poke out their eyes. Oh well thats what they get for not doing their work.
After the show we finally got out the door and headed over to Typhoon Lagoon.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0951.jpg
It was lunch time so we had chicken tenders. We got a locker and headed over to the wave pool first.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/image106.jpg
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/image109.jpg
I played with the kids in the wave pool while dh stayed with Grace. She was just chilling in her stroller.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0954.jpg
Next we went to the shark pool or what ever they call it. Brennan was starting to get scared and he asked me to go with him. Courtney said she wasn't going with us but she changed her mind. They gave us a snorkle and told us what to do. You were not supposed to kick your feet. You just had to move your arms and basically float. We got in and I could have died. The water was ice cold:scared1: YIKES! I had a major problem breathing through the snorkle. I kept tryint to breath through my nose and out of instinct I would kick my feet. Apparently I was not skilled enough to master this and I freaked out bad.
When we got in the said if you have a problem and need to be rescued raise your hand and make a fist and we will come get you. Well my arm flew up and I started saying get me out.:rotfl2: :lmao:
A lady had to come in with a float like they had on bay watch. I told her, " I WANT TO GET OUT AND I AM KICKING MY FEET! " She kept telling me I was going to be fine and to calm down.
OMG how embarrasing:lmao: :rotfl2:
Courtney is like me and she was having the same problem but she wasn't about to ask for help (she is too cool) Here is a picture of her she just swam across the pool with her head out of the water kicking her feet the whole time.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0967.jpg
When we got out Brennan was so excited he loved it. He went again. Courtney and I on the other hand didn't even see one fish we just got the heck out of dodge.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0970.jpg
Next we went over to the slides and I sat with Grace and dh went on a slide with the kids. After that dh and Brennan went again and Courtney and I just sat with Grace and people watched while we waited. Courtney thinks she is fat so she wanted me to tell her when someone passed by who was her size. I kept pointing out people who I know were fatter than me and I would ask her , " Am I that size? " I picked people who were way biger so of course she would say no. It made me feel better. :thumbsup2 I HAVE to go on a diet. I am going to start Weight Watchers again, for the fourth time. I hate diets.
After the water slide Brennan wanted to go in the lazy river and we were going to but the water was ice cold. We decided not to and he was mad. We left and went back to AKL to change and head over to Downtown Disney. We had ADRs for Planet Hollywood.
Just for the record the buses for AKL were very efficient. The only one that took forever and a day was the one that goes to DD and TL.

I can't believe you went swimming with sharks!! :scared1: I am a really good swimmer - but I can never figure out the snorkel thing either. Especially if it were cold water - it's just too hard to catch your breath. Then add sharks into the mix - forget it!! I would have had the rescue people coming after me too. ;)

Downtown Disney DAY 3
We headed to DD and went over to Planet Hollywood. The bus took so long that we were late for our ADR by five minutes. I told dh that we needed to head out to dd earlier than we did but nobody listens to moma.
When we got to Planet Hollywood we couldn't go up all those stairs with the stroller so they told us where the elevator was. That darn elevator took forever. I had to end out going up the stairs because we were really getting late at that point. When I got to the top of the stairs dh and the kids were right there waiting for me. It turns out as soon as I left them at the elevator the darn elevator opened. Oh well I needed the exercise.
I forgot what floor we ate on it was at the top. When we arrived it was practically empty. It filled up fast. Our waitress was nice.
Every waitress we had on this trip was very nice. I was wondering how they were going to act because I read on the board that they had been rude to people on the dinning plan. That wasn't true at all for us. The tip is no longer included in the ddp. Now they give you your reciept with two suggested tip amounts. The first one is 15% and the second is 18%. We always circled the 18% because of the great service. They also had a blank space that said other in case you wanted to tip a different amount. I guess if you have bad service you can tip less or if you want you can tip more than 18%.
I had the ribeye steak and it was overdone and tough. I don't remember what everyone else got. Sorry. The desert there is a shared portion and you can order one desert for every two people so you have to agree on your choice with whoever you are with. DH and I got the white choc. bread pudding. I ate one bite it had a very strong liquor taste. YUCK!!!
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0972.jpg
After dinner we walked to the other side of dd and went shopping. I had made the kids Disney banks one year before our trip and evey month I put ten dollars in their banks so they each had 120 dollars to spend. DH hates shopping so he didn't enjoy dd at all. He hates it. I love to shop so I love it. Next time I am leaving him at the room when we go to dd.
Before we went back to AKL we went to Goofys Candy Co. and used some snack credits for pretzel rods dipped in chocolate and rolled in reesee cups. YUM. This was neat. You can choose pretzels or marshmallows or a giant oreo. They dip it in white, dark, or milk chocolate and then you can choose what candy or topping or nuts you want them to roll it in. Next they drizzle more chocolate of your choice on top of it. It is really good.
When we got to the bus stop to go back to AKL the bus had just pulled away. DH was tired and agrivated at that point because he knew we would have a long wait and he was right.
We don't have any pictures of DD because dh was agrivated and didn't want to be there. I could kick his butt for that.
Up Next..... Day Four Epcot and I got to meet JORDAN:cool1:

coteau_chick - I figured with you taking a baby, you might know this- What kind of milk do they sell at the parks? 1%, 2% or whole? I really need whole organic, but I bet that is not a choice.
I'm just catching up, so this might have been answered...but you can order the organic milk boxes from gardengrocer.com. They're the indivdual ones (like juice boxes) and don't have to refridgerated. They had chocolate and strawberry flavored, too. I don't remember the minimum order, but the delivery is great!

I only saw the one in the wave pool but I am sure they must be around the slides and other places too. They give you your photopass card on a little bracelet that you can wear in the water and not loose it.
The snacks at Goofy's Candy Co are allowed on the ddp for one snack credit.

I love the pic of you all getting knock over by the wave. That is great. I have never been to a water park at DW. I may have to check it out. Is there alot to do for the younger kids?
Love the shark thing. Although I am not sure I would have done any better than you. Sharks scare the daylights out of me. When in the ocean I am always on the look out

:flower3: Did anyone miss me? I haven't been on disboard all day:eek: Grace is not feeling well I had to take her to the doctor. She has a virus that caused her to break out with ulcers in her mouth and a rash around her mouth. She barely wants to eat and she loves to eat.
She kept me up all night she was crying in her sleep. She was sleeping good this morning around five am and I just finally fell asleep and the stupid dog started howling because she wanted to get in the bed with me. I could have killed me a dog. I never did tell you about my little dog. She is named Buttons and she was the baby until recently when Grace came along.
Here is a picture of her. She looks sweet doesn't she?

I remember reading about that on Jordans site. I can't believe thats you:lmao: I even told dh about that one and we both:rotfl2: Thanks for sharing you make me feel better.
Here is a another little story about streaking.
I was taking a bath and I forgot my towel so once again I decided to streak. I went to my bedroom door peeked out no one was in the living room except my dh who was in the recliner watching espn. I looked both ways again and ran for it to the utility room. I ran through the living room because I didn't have a curtain over my front door glass and it is clear not frosted. We live in the country and we are far from the road so I thought it was safe. Once I retrieved my towel I stopped at the living room and peeked in again to make sure it was still safe to streak through. All was clear and I ran for it again. Halfway through my trot I heard ding dong the doorbell rang. Someone was at the front door (the one with no curtain) I screamed bloody murder and I just dropped to the floor. The door opened and dh came in laughing:lmao: I thought he was still in the recliner. He said he couldn't pass this oppurnity up. He had sneaked to the porch when I passed him the first time . He was waiting for me to run back through. As soon as I was in direct view of the front door he rang the doorbell:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
He thinks he is so smart.:headache:

FREE DOGJust kidding. NOT!
I am dealing with a sick baby right now and I could kill me a dog. :lmao: Last night I finally got Grace to go to sleep. I crawled in bed and I was just about to drift off to sleep when BUTTONS started howeling again. What is the deal she decided about two years ago that she was goining to start sleeping in her dog bed instead of our bed. She really did this on her own. I went in the bathroom where her bed is one night and she was in her bed. When I reached out to bring her to bed with me she bit me. Ever since that night she sleeps in her bed. She had slept in the bed with us for years until that night.
Now all of a sudden she is starting to howl at night until I go get her and put her in bed with me. The baby started sleeping through the night and the dog started waking me up:confused:
Last night when Buttons started her howling dh started fussing. He wanted me to do something about her. I said for him to because I was tired I had been up the whole night before with Grace. He didn't do anything and Buttons kept on howling. I said I am NOT moving you go. He ignored me I was so mad I almost told him to go live with the devil. I went get the stupid dog and she went to sleep. What am I going to do with her?
Here is a little story about Buttons. Up until Grace was born Buttons was my baby. I took her ride everywhere with me. I brought her camping . She has a little coat because she gets cold. When we go camping I put a her down blanket on the consol between dh and I for her to sit on to ride. She loves dh and I . She also loves Pop and mom (my parents) mamaw (dh Mom) . She loves Honey (my SIL) . Thats it the rest can go to H-E- double hockey sticks as far as Buttons is concerned. So with that said not too many people in our family or circle of friends like Buttons. She is hateful.
I get the eyerolls from family when I show up with her.
Now back to the story. Grace was born and turned Buttons little world upside down:rotfl2: We were on our way to our first camping trip with Grace (she was two months old). I was nervous I packed every thing but the kitchen sink. I packed all buttons things too. Even set up her blanket on the consol. We were about 1 hour into our trip when I gasped and started laughing. DH said "what is your problem? " I said , " Do you notice anyone missing?" He started laughing. We forgot Buttons at the house. :lmao:
Buttons had officially dropped down a few notches. Poor evil dog.:lmao:

Grace just woke up and she did drink 4 oz of formula. She had not had a bottle since 5 yesterday afternoon. She did drink a little juice last night. The doctor said just to make sure she drinks. She does look a lot happier this morning. I am praying that she is going to have a better day today than yesterday. Day 4 Epcot February 7th
We got to epcot and waited in line to get in. We headed straight to Soarin to ride. Dh and Courtney and Brennan rode it first while I waited. They waited maybe five minutes. When they came off the kids got to ride again with me because we used baby swap. Grace napped the whole time. I love this ride. The kids were glad to ride two times in a row with practically no waiting.
After Soarin we rode Living with the land. I like this ride. My favorite part is the farm house.
We headed over to ride the Nemo ride next. We stopped for a photo pass picture first. When we got in line for Nemo we realized that Grace only had one shoe on. Dh went to look for it. He returned soon with the shoe a man had found it and saw dh looking around and asked if he had lost a shoe. Thanks nice man. After that we took off Grace's shoes and put them in the diaper bag and she went barefoot. She can't walk yet anyway so it didn't matter. Nemo was a cute ride the baby loved it.
We went get a fast pass for TT and then dh and the kids rode Mission Space. They didn't wait too long. I sat on a bench and called my mom. I didn't mind waiting because I hate mission space. I am never riding it again. I almost threw up the first time I rode it.
After MS we went eat lunch at The Electric Umbrella. Grace was so funny she was being silly and entertaining the people at the table next to us. After lunch we went to test track. I rode with the kids first because dh didn't want to ride right after eating. We practically walked on with our fast passes. Dh and the kids went next with the baby swap pass. They walked on too.

This is the car Courtney want us to buy her. Doesn't she look cool in it.:thumbsup2
Next we did the robot race. Brennan really wanted to do this so he was excited. He came out second:cool1: The kids enjoyed building a robot after the race. Courtney even built one. I made one for Brennan to take home to his friend at school. We headed over to Spaceship earth. The line was not too bad we maybe waited ten minutes. It broke down and stopped two times (George ? pirate: pirate: )
After spaceship earth we headed over to the countries. I don't remember what order we did them but here are some pictures from our trip around the world.

When we got to Japan the little Japanese lady was about to start her story. Brennan and Courtney decided to watch her and I took Grace to wait for the candy lady. I wanted her to make us a sucker and I read on dis where to stand to get picked for her to make you a candy. Dh went to get some popcorn. I could see Courtney and Brennan from where I was waiting. Then Brennan was picked to be in the story. I didn't want to loose my place but I could see him from where I was. I was getting mad at dh because he was taking long to come back with his popcorn. He had the camera and I wanted a picture of Brennan in the show. Dh finally got back in time to take Brennan's picture.
Here is a picture that explains why it took so long to get back with the popcorn.:headache:
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0998.jpg
After the candy lady I was supposed to have a dismeet with Jordan. I was supposed to meet him in Mexico at 5:30 . Grace was fussing and we had to stop and sit on a bench to feed her. I didn't make it to Mexico in time to meet Jordan. I was upset.
I forgot to mention that as it was getting closer to the time I was supposed to meet Jordan, Courtney was saying , "We are about to die. We are going to be murdered because that man might be a serial killer. ":rotfl2: Every so ofter she would say, "We are soon going to die.":lmao: :rotfl2:
Next we headed over to Mexico for our ADR. I was looking for our exterminator. He told me he was going to Disney world at the same time as us, and his family had ADR in Mexico for the same time as us and I had told him we might see him there. I looked all around the restaurant but I couldn't find him. It is so dark in there but the food is good. Courtney said, " If you really want to find him just yell ROACH and he will probabbly come running.":lmao: :rotfl2:

Now the company is gone and I can get back to what I was saying.........
I was saying that we were eating in Mexico and it was dark in the restaurant and I was looking for our exterminator. He had told me the last time he sprayed our house that he would be a Disney World at the same time as us. we figured out that both of us had ADR at San Angel Inn for the same night at the same time. I couldn't find them and Courtney said to scream ROACH. She said that would bring him running. I just called his cell phone instead and he said he was running late. When they finally arrived they were seated at the table right next to us. What are the chances of that. I wanted to tell him what Courtney said but she wouldn't let me. She threatened to embarrass me bad if I told him what she said. Grace was fussing through most of dinner so I had to hold her when dh finished eating he took her and then I ate.
After dinner we went to Norway. That was the only country we hadn't visited yet. DH and the kids went on the malstrom ride and I waited with Grace. While I was waiting I decided to call Jordan on his cell phone (we had exchanged numbers before he left). Oh that was another thing Courtney kept talking about. She said not only were we meeting a potential killer but if he couldn't find us he had our number. :lmao: Anyway I called Jordan and he was finishing up his dinner in Italy. He came over to meet me. I was so glad because I really wanted to meet him. He was very nice and easy to talk too. We talked and laughed. I wish I would have paid attention to Courtney's face when she came off the ride and I was standing there talking to him:eek: I had told Jordan what Courtney said in the restaurant about ROACH and we had laughed about it I didn't think he would say anything to her but he did. He told her he thought her coment about the ROACH was funny she gave me a look but she didn't say anything. Oh well I guess she couldn't think of anything to embarrass me .
Here is a picture of Jordan and me and flat winkers.

After we visited with Jordan we headed back to AKL. We didn't watch illuminations because Grace was sleepy and fussy and we had to get her to bed before she errupted. When she gets started it is hard to calm her. I knew we would have to make some sacrifices if we went with a baby. I didn't mind we will just have to go back when she is older. :thumbsup2
I really enjoyed this day it went so smooth. I think it was my best day on the trip. I just love world showcase and Brennan getting picked to be in the story and Grace getting picked by the candy lady and meeting Jordan just made it better.:flower3:

After we visited with Jordan we headed back to AKL. We didn't watch illuminations because Grace was sleepy and fussy and we had to get her to bed before she errupted. When she gets started it is hard to calm her. I knew we would have to make some sacrifices if we went with a baby. I didn't mind we will just have to go back when she is older. :thumbsup2
I really enjoyed this day it went so smooth. I think it was my best day on the trip. I just love world showcase and Brennan getting picked to be in the story and Grace getting picked by the candy lady and meeting Jordan just made it better.:flower3:
Great update! :thumbsup2 So cool that Brennan got to be in the story and that you got candy from the candy lady!!

Loved your latest TR update and pics! I have already made a note in my trip binder about where to stand for the Japanese candy lady! Thanks for the head up on that! :thumbsup2
For the candy lady I kept thinking that when she came out they would move the rope but they didn't. I stood directly in front of the rectangle to the left up against the rope. She picked me and the other two people standing up against the rope in front of the rectangles and also the people up against the rope on the two end sides of her cart. Good luck. She only makes one per family and she will ask the kids to point out their parents to make sure that only one per family is given. She wants more than one family to have a turn.

Our families seem so much alike! I have a 15 year old daughter who is the sarcasm queen. Do you really think they will change when they are out of the terrible teens? Her little brother is 8, and they argue and pick enough to drive me crazy. The comment your son made about "Where did you go wrong with Courtney?" cracked me up. My son and daughter to a T! He tells me all the time that he won't act like her when he is a teen. At least yours have a little sister to love on though, I bet that probably brings out thier sweet side.

Now I am busy getting ready for Easter. I might have time tomorrow to post a update. Thanks for your patience. Oh last Thursday I was so upset with my sassy kids that I took the baby and we went to Baton Rouge to visit my cousin, who is like a sister to me. I came home feeling refreshed.
Here is a pic from POC
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_0908.jpg
Next we rode Jungle Cruise. At the end of the ride our boat bumped into the boat in front of us really hard. (George?pirate: )

How neat you can relate to how I feel. The baby does bring out a good side of Courtney. The scary thing is Grace watches Courtney like a hawk. I tell Courtney to be careful what she says because Grace will be talking before we can blink and I am sure she will want to be just like her big sister. :scared1: I was talking to someone the other day and I comented on Courtney being sassy. They said and now you have another girl. They said "What are you going to do?" I told them if Grace turns sassy I will send her to Courtney. :rotfl2:

Aunt Betty doesn't know I went to Baton Rouge without her. I should have called her but I didn't think about it until I was already there. The date this day was February 8th dh and my 17th wedding anniversary. Courtney said we look so nerdy in this picture.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/image072.jpg
But look how cool she looks in this picture. DH said she needs an inspection sticker for those glasses because they are windshields.:rotfl2:
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/image067.jpg
We wore our anniversary buttons all day and sooooo many people wished us a happy anniversary. It was neat. The first thing we did was get a fast pass for rockin roller coaster. After getting the fast passes Courtney, Brennan and I watched Voyage of the little mermaid while dh stayed with Grace so she could nap. I forgot to mention it was cold this morning it did eventually warm up. After voyage of the little mermaid we all rode the great movie ride. It stopped for a long time at the end I think they were having some difficulties with the ride (George?pirate: ) They had to get a cast member to let a lady and a little girl off while it was stopped because the little girl pee peed on herself. They came with a flash light and got her and her mother off of the ride.
DH and the kids rode star tours next and I stayed with Grace. Look how cute she looked.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/image065.jpg
After star tours we went to si fi for our lunch adrs. The people here were so nice. Our waitress was sweet she loved Grace. She said she has a grand baby that lives far away that is the same age as Grace. She was giving me grandmotherly advice. She was so sweet.
After lunch we did the backlot express tour. I didn't enjoy it too much because it seemed like forever before we boarded the tram and I had to hold the buda baby who weighed about twenty pounds at the time. I thought my arms were going to fall off. Dh would have held her but she is spoilled after me and she cries until I take her. At some point during the ride miss Grace pooped in her diaper and was not too happy about it either. She was screaming and I had to search for a restroom to change her. After the diaper change she wanted a bottle and I had forgot the water. I had to find a counter service and get a cup of hot water to make a bottle and it also took forever and she was fussing and dh was agrivated and the kids were complaining. I should have handed them all a round of bottles the bunch of crybabies. :rotfl:
After we were cituated again and on our way we got more fast passes for tot. I rode RRC first with the kids and dh waited with Grace we got him a baby swap. We walked onto the ride with our fast passes with barely a wait. I LOVE this ride it is a family favorite at our house. When it was dh turn to ride with the kids using baby swap the cm told him he had to go by himself with the baby swap she didn't want to let the kids ride with him. I talked to her and she realized that she had made a mistake and she let them ride.
We did tot next and then we decided to head back to akl because we had a long day and I wanted to go to bed early. On the way out the mayor of Hollywood was in the street with his assistants. It was a cute show so we decided to watch. Before we knew it they were looking for new hairstyles for hollywood and they pulled Courtney up. They called her hair style pull er back and call er done.:lmao: Courtney was walking away when she stepped on the mayor's red carpet they freaked out and made her stand on a box in the middle of the road. The mayor acted like he was mad and the assistant said to cut her some slack because she had never left the mall before:rotfl2: They were so funny. The mayor wanted to know why Courtney's teeth were in jail then his phone rang and they told him that she had been eating illegal candy.:rotfl2: This is worth stopping to watch it was so cute. Courtney was a good sport about being put on the spot and we all laughed I loved it.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_1034.jpg
On the way out Brennan had to ride the bucking broncho.
http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee216/coteau_chick/IMG_1036.jpg
We had a great day. We went back to the room and I did laundry. I also got some zebra domes. OMG they were so good I was getting addicted to them. If you can get to AKL try the zebra domes.

I just wanted to say I am sorry I haven't been around lately or updated my report in a while. I have been so busy. Baseball has started up again and we will be at a tournament all weekend.
I also want to share a little secret with you I went to see the fertility doctor two weeks ago. They put me back on the medicine that I took to get pregnant for Grace. I am praying that the medicine works because they sure make me sick. YUCK. Last time I was on this medicine it took two monts before I got pregnant. Not bad after we had been trying for nine years.
This time the doctor told me to take the medicine for two months before trying to conceive.
I know that I am probablly giving too much information. Sorry but I am excited.
I told my mom but I didn't tell dh mom. She would freak out. I will just tell her when I am pregnant and then she can't fuss. My mom is excited. Dh mom thinks I am too old to have another baby. She told me not to have another baby because I had high blood pressure at the end of my pregnancy for Grace and the doctor had to deliver her three weeks early. She was fine and weighed almost eight pounds.
I hope I didn't bore you to death with my infertility problems. I am going to try to update my trip report next week. I know it probablly won't happen this weekend because we will be at the ball park all weekend. I love baseball. Well if you want to please say a prayer for me and send me baby dust.pixiedust:

I'm glad you checked in. I worry.
Cool....let us know how things go....
Good Luck! pixiedust:
Good luck! I will be praying for you! :grouphug:
Thank you all for the good wishes and prayers. I am starting to get really excited. I just don't want Grace to feel alone. When she is ten Brennan will be twenty and Courtney will be twenty-five. I hope I can give her another sibling closer to her age to play with.
I have always dreamed of a big family. I want a house full of children and grandchildren when I am old. I love having kids at my house. When we only had two children I usually had five hanging around all the time because my nieces next door were always playing over here. I was so sad when they moved to Colorado. I want a house full again.
I really appreciate all of you who have stayed with me through this trip report. I know I am not the best writer. You are really special to me. I wish I could actually meet all of you in person. If any of you ever come to Louisiana please look me up.
I am getting sad because I only have one more day of my trip report to post and then I will be finished. I might have to start a baby report:rotfl2: .
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend . If I don't show up on the boards on the weekend I will be back on Monday.
Guess who I saw yesterday.
AUNT BETTY:cool1:
It was the first time she had seen Grace. I also got to see her great grand baby who is two months younger than Grace. Aunt Betty was at the hospital when Grace was born and she saw her through the nursery window then she left. She had to leave with her ride because she doesn't drive too far. She was happy to get to finally see her yesterday. I don't visit her that often because she lives about an hour away. I need to make a point to go over there more often. She is so funny.
The reason I went yesterday is because my cousin from Texas was there and I needed to go see her too. When I called Aunt Betty and told her I was coming to town she was excited. She told me to meet her at her boyfriends house because she needed to take him some food. She wanted us to go see her great grand baby before we went see my cousin.
I drove up to Aunt Betty's boyfriend's house right behind her. She was getting out of her car with a plate lunch and I got out of my car. She came hug and kiss me. I asked her if she wanted me to get Grace out of the car and go in the house with her. She said, "No, I am just gona give him this and we can hall a*** !" I guess she didn't care to show her boyfriend Grace:lmao: :rotfl2:
In case you are wondering about Aunt Betty having a boyfriend I will explain. Her husband died fifteen years ago and she eventually started hanging around with a man who was a friend of the family for years. His wife had also died. There families had been close for years Aunt Betty was good friends with his late wife. She just visits him and takes care of him. She brings him food. I guess they both fill a void for each other. She has someone to take care of and he has someone to take care of him.
When she first started seeing him we teased her because she had a "boyfriend". One day we were riding in the car, it was my cousin Shella and Aunt Betty and my moma and I. Shella was teasing Aunt Betty about her boyfriend and was asking , "Did you kiss him?" I started squirming. Aunt Betty said, "What you want to know, Shella, if we went to bed?" I covered my ears and said pull the car over and let me out. I am so glad she never answered. :rotfl2: I wanted to jump out the window.

Sorry I'm so behind!
This is cool news! Good Luck and have fun "trying" ;)
Love the pics of your two girls in the crib.
