which resort has the most wildlife running around

Hi folks, besides animal kingdom l. which resort has the most bunnies, ducks, birds, etc scampering around the grounds. I am thinking either poly or port orleans riverside, alligator bayou, is that correct. any comments?

I saw a lot of wildlife last month at CBR. Check out my web site, I took a few pictures, look in the "Grounds" section.

I have heard there are a lot of animals at Wilderness Lodge too. I'm sure all of the WDW resorts have some kind of wildlife, we saw lizards at the Grand Floridian last year, as well as swans that swam with us in the pool at night, and bunnies :)

At the BC and BWV we've had ducks and bunnies at our door every morning, plus a variety of wading birds in the pond just outside our door. At the GF we saw various birds and bunnies.

Lots of lizards at Sports.

Don't recall much at POFQ.

In all honesty I'd have to say Shades of Green, alligators in the ponds, lots of bunnies, ducks and birds, plus butterflies!

Not counting Shades my next highest would be BWV!

Fort Wilderness...without a doubt!

We've stayed at nearly all of the WDW resorts but have never seen as many animals and critters as we have at Fort Wilderness. When there we routinely see peacocks, rabbits, chickens & ducks (who are very bold and will walk right up to you looking for goodies!) and armadillo. We've also seen deer on several occasions.

Oh, and there are a couple of chipmunks who go to the campfire *every* night! ;)

Yes, I was gonna say Fort Wilderness, too. I have friends who stay in the cabins because they enjoy the wild life so much. I believe they also have a camp fire.

You'll find a lot of wildlife at OKW as well. Especially, in the morning there are all kinds of birds on the golf course -- ibis, herons, great blue heron, among lots of others. You've also got lots of ducks & bunnies and the occasional snapping turtle, deer, armadillo, etc.

I've seen lots of animals at CBR.. and beautiful birds. But nothing at All Stars or PO FQ.

I've seen ducks and rabbits at PO-FQ and PO-R, rabbits and herons at OKW and deer at WL. I've never stayed at FW but I would imagine that would really be the place for wildlife.

I also say Fort Wilderness. We stayed at a cabin and we saw lots of wildlife - peacocks who roam freely, rabbits, little lizards, and snakes!! (I think they were black racers - harmless ones!) We even saw wildlife inside our cabin - a frog came up the pipes and hopped around our bathroom!! :eek: Well, maybe there's a bit too much wildlife in Fort Wilderness ....... :)
