I will acutally be visiting my parents in Bradenton during the taping. I requested tickets from the website this morning as well as my mother. For those who went last year, was it easy to get tickets? How was it?

When did you request your tickets? I submitted a request last Wed night but haven't heard back yet. I did get a call on my cell phone yesterday that says "private" but I was at work and they didn't leave a voicemail!! :sad2: I hope I hear something soon!!

We requested tiks the same day that Ellen announced on her show that she's going back to Universal. I think it was a Wednesday afternoon. The caller ID said "no number". I go to Universal every year to see her shows, it's sooo fun with or without tickets.

Does anyone know how it works? I requested and got confirmed for tickets... do you need to buy universal admission? If not, are you allowed to stay for the day? I have an AP, but my boyfriend does not.. just curious if it'd be worth it to invite him or a friend of mine who has an AP. :P

Hey, I requested tickets days ago, but I never got any type of confirmation :( Kinda disappointed, would have like to have gone, since we are Canadian and the chance of going to a regular show is slim; Although we do have full schedules for our vacation haha. Just curious on how the whole thing works.

I requested tickets on Friday and still haven't gotten my call. Bummer! I only requested one ticket so I thought I had a chance. We will be vacationing then and ds is too young to attend the taping. DS and DH would be very happy to hang out at Universal while I attended that taping. Come on...call me Ellen's people....call me!

It goes something like this...... You go to Ellen's website and request tickets for the date that you want to see her show. Then wait :surfweb: until one of Ellen's people call you :woohoo: and ask you if still want tickets to Ellen's show. Finally, they snailmail you your tickets and info. packet about what to wear and not to wear, time and place of taping and so forth. If you receive a call from Ellen's peeps (unknown caller on my caller id)then you have tickets to the show.

Any updates from anyone, I see that tickets are no longer available. I didn't get my call yet, hope to receive soon, maybe while I am sipping on Margarittas in Orlando the call will come:cheer2:
