I know you tip mousekeeping, but my question is, When staying with Concierge service do you tip those maids seperate? I'm assuming they are not the same maids from earlier that day and I know The concierge maids come is for turn down service.
What is an appropriate tip for them?
Thanks

I tip twice a day when staying in concierge. In the morning before I leave my room, I place my tip inside the Housekeeping card and leave it on the bathroom counter. In the evening before I go out, I leave my tip in the Housekeeping card and place it on my pillow. I tip according to the accommodations I am in (suites get more money as the accommodations are larger). Tip what you want. There are no hard and fast rules.

By the way, here is a link to the Dis' tipping guidelines: The Dis (http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/tipguidelines.htm)

Opps! I see the Dis doesn't mention Housekeeping. Hopefully someone here will post a link to the tipping guidelines for Housekeeping.

Janet, I believe that the WDW Policy is for housekeeping not to recieve tips (I think I read that somewhere). We typically leave $5/day (when I remember!). :) I leave $2 for turndown, and sometimes they take it, sometimes they don't.

I assume you're talking about the turndown in the evening? We left a separate envelope for that on the pillow each evening(we happened to be back at the room before dinner every night). I left $5 for both mousekeeping and turndown--it was the turndown CMs who did all sorts of cute things in our room at the GF and the Poly. At the Grand Floridian, she dressed my daughter's Belle doll in her pajamas and put her to bed each night. My daughter still talks about that. I figure it's only another $30 or $40 to me, but really means a lot to them in the appreciation that's expressed.
