Holiday Inn Bayside Hotel SD

My husband and I are thinking of staying here with our almost 8 yr old DD. Has anyone stayed here and if so what did you think?
Used to stay at the Town and Country on Hotel Circle but last visit there 3 years ago well lets just say it wasn't the best visit. I liked the location but won't go back. Just going for two nights, one day doing Sea World. Want to go into Old Town and down by the marina where all those little shops and places to eat are not to far from the Midway, can't think of the name right now. That's pretty much it that we know of.

So any comments on the Holiday Inn is appreciated. Also considering the Holiday Inn downtown.

It's a nice hotel on Harbor Drive near the airport across the street from the bay, but no access to it. It's quiet, has a pool and a great little restaurant. I often go there for lunch. It's a short drive to both Seaport Village and Old Town, and it's very close to Harbor Island where Island Prime/C Level is... fabulous restaurant on the water.
