I'm researching limo/towncar services for my sister's trip in November. She'll be coming into Sanford airport and going to Contemporary. I just saw on Happy Limo site they charge an additional $8 fee for the parking toll to get to that resort! Do all the limo services do this??

Yep, Disney started charging the limo companies last year and they are passing this along to customers. Disney charges for passing through the the gates to all MK resorts.

I believe you can take the receipt to guest services at your resort and get it refunded. The last time we used Tiffany 2 years ago, they allowed the driver through without paying when he showed our reservation paper.

If your checking in to a Hotel in the M/kingdom as long as you have a Conformation number you and the driver will get in free..But on the return the driver will have to pay the $8.00 to get in the gate at the M/Kingdom. We don't charge you any thing extra. Some Companys
charge you $8.00 to $16.00 extra. We don't.....šoš šoš šoš

Is this new?

Does this mean then, if you simply take a cab from another resort to your PS at Polynesian or even the MK itself, you ahve to pay 8 dollars more?

I have always recommended that those driving themselves to an MK resort or Wilderness Lodge tell the toll attendant where they are going, and then drive on without paying. If these resorts officially impose a parking charge in the form of having to pay at the toll booth, then this advice is scratched. Otherwise I still say the toll attendant has to tell you how to make a U-turn (if you want) and you follow his words without paying.

anytime I have driven my own vehicle as long as I showed that I was a guest of the resort I wasn't charged. how can they charge them a paring fee if they aren't parking, but only dropping off and picking up? maybe I'm confused. its possible right now.:D
