Ok so.
Yesterday, I found out my badminton torunament is on the same day as my trip to ottawa. I cant decide which to go to.
Before you all start going...OTTAWA TRIP WOULD BE MORE IMPORTANT DUH, Like all my friends do.. heres my points:
1. If I leave my badminton partner, she can't play...at all.
2. We are playing Grade 9's this year and i'm in Grade 10, so next year it will be harder.
3. ive already been to ottawa
4. My parents have to buy a new car, and I dont know if I should make them pay another 200$ for my trip..
BUT.
The trip seems so fun. I wouldnt want to miss any priceless moments, and ive been planning it with my friends for a while ( going with school)
GAHHHHH i dont know what to do.
Ive changed my mind a gazillion times since yesterday.
HELP.. >_<

That is a hard decision...
Do you qualify for the badminton tournament often, or is this a once-in-a-lifetime thing? If it is, then I'd definitely pick the tournament. If it wasn't, I'm sure your partner would be okay with it if you will probably qualify next year.

That makes you sound selfish if you just ditch your partner

I am quite good at badminton and usually make the team. But id have to wait 2 years to really have a chance at winning.

I know....=\
She was sad..
Also, i have a 100$ deposit on my trip.
I asked my teacher if i could get it back, And ill probably base my decision on wheteher or not I can get my money back.

If you can't get your deposite back, do you think someone could replace you so your partner could play with somebody else, so she could still play? :confused3
That's such a tough decision.

If we lose the first game, we're pretty much out...and the day was wasted. >_<

I'm a selfish person.
I'd go on the trip.
But I totally love Ottawa. I'm trying to convince my parents we need to go back this summer.. but I don't think my mum can get the time off.
You probably can't get the deposit back, just saying. When we went to Quebec City last year we had to make a deposit that we would not get back, and we had to keep on paying from there. If we got kicked off the trip or decided not to go, we wouldn't get ANY of our money back. At all.
