Every once in a while
I Happen to find myself
Looking at you during class
I can't help it your beautiful
I wish I could tell you this
But every time I try my brain locks up
Or my voice halts nothing will come out
So I write you a note and hand it to you
I walked away and none of us spoke again
I Don't think it was enough
Do you think I'm to shy
Or is it that you don't like me
Or maybe you're waiting for me to speak to you
It's not that easy,
I don't have any idea how your going to respond,
Everyday I tell myself I'm going to talk to you
But it never happens, love is full of fear
Ill tell you tomorrow before I'm to late
I was to late at telling the last girl I liked
And it ended in regrets
I wrote this... It's all true.

As risk of sounding - gasp - old....
When my grandfather passed away we helped Grandma clean out his office. There, in the very back of a closet, were 3 stacks of fading, yellowing envelopes that has been bundled together.
They were 2 years of love letters that my grandparents had written to each other while dating during part of the time that my grandfather was in dental school. Those letters are now a very cherished family heirloom that tell so much about my grandparents when they were in their 20s - absolutely priceless. In a world of texts and e-mails, amazing finds like these as becoming a rare find.
Sometimes, a little hand-written note passed in class can still be very cool.
