What type of views do the club concierge rooms offer and are they hard to get???
Thanks

It's either savannah view or pool, I believe. There are only 5 2-br units (5 studios and 5 one bedrooms) so they are tough to get.
Just let go to a concierge studio for Dec 13 earlier today...someone should have lucked up by now.

We are staying at the AKL Concierge level for the first time this summer.
I was just wondering what special perks, tips and tricks anyone could mention to maximize our experience and enjoyment of it - would be greatly apprieciated.
Thanks!
Rob :)

From what I have read, the views aren't the greatest. Many have reported that the thatched roof hangs down to low and obscures the view. We'll find out next month. :woohoo:

We will be checking it out next week. I requested savanna view, but I don't really care for this trip. I don't intend to use CC that often anyway.

We have our first stay in May, I will post when I get back. I have requested Savanna, I hope to have a good view. I have loved dealing with the Concierge staff.

As far as how hard are the rooms to get ..... I booked two SV studios for July 3rd towards the end of January and waitlisted for concierge. I think it was less than 2 weeks that one of the waitlist rooms came through for concierge at what I consider a busy time of the year. I'm afraid I won't be as lucky with the second room so I am not sure what I am going to do, having rooms on separate floors. Still pondering that one!

OK, I guess CC stands for Club Concierge which DVC lists as a category. I've heard it called club level or concierge level but never club concierge. That's redundant! Grates on my ears and eyes!

I'll be in a studio in April. I figured since we are between AP's that would be a great use of a few days left over after a cruise. We plan on using the amenities of the resort and maybe a day at DTD. I had hoped they would put a PPP on one of those nights, but no luck so no quickie trip to MK:sad1: .
We've stayed CL at AKL before and really liked it so I'm sure that we will have a great time. This will not be how I use most of my points in the future, but occasionally why not?!
