Question about Sims

OK, so like a year back or so my sister went to our school book fair and bought the expansion pack Sims Making Magic. When she tried to install it for the first time the second disc was scratched or so. Although i want to buy it again, but when i look on the official sims site under expansion packs, there is no Sims Making Magic expansion pack. :confused3 Can anybody help me? I reallly reallly want to get this expansion pack but i know if there have been problems with it. And where i can also buy the regular Sims game, so i can add the expansion pack i buy. IF i buy i mean.

Is it for the old sims or sims 2?

if it's the old sims you have to actually go to a store to find it, becuase they only promote sims 2 online now.
I bought the complete addition of the old version awhile ago and it has all the extension packs on it.

I know they have some of the older sims extension packs on amazon. but I bought my game at wal-mart. good luck on finding it. :goodvibes

yay for walmart! I guess i will just go there! LOL funny how i usually use amazon with my brother for everything, cough including the pogo-stick im getting for my birthday cough!

It should.. the Complete version I have is the base game of the Deluxe with all the extra extention packs.

OH, and would i need to have the Regular Sims Deluxe CD to play the game? or could i play without it, or use the making magic cd 1.

It has so many more interesting ways to kill Sims... LOL

I stuck a PlantSim in a little boxed room with no windows and it died from lack of sunlight, water, and love XD

I prefer putting them in the pool then removing the ladder. XD

there's a way you can kill them in all versions of the game..

I killed one of mine with the firework/ home rocket kit once

I have to say I haven't tried with the making magic items

personally, I like BV the best. I'm pretty sure you can install it without the original disk, and once you install you can use that disk :goodvibes (wow big run-on sentence :rotfl: )
