Traveling w/ sons HGH meds and cool.click

My son will be starting growth hormone shots next week. The meds with be administered via the cool.click needle free device. The meds don't have to be refrigerated until mixed. I have never traveled with any meds other that antibiotics. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm thinking it might be similar to traveling w/ diabetes meds.
