I know that you can buy tickets from the Disney Store, not sure that it is really a savings, but I noticed that the sign says you get a book or card (can't remember which) that gets you discounts of Restaurants/Merchandise, etc. when you purchase tickets from them. Does anyone know what kind of discounts they are? Are they for places within Disney? Next time I go to the store I'll ask, but wanted to see if anyone here knows...

Thanks!
Rachel

We bought tickets about 5 years ago at the store for our first trip. I do not remember any discount book coming with it. It has been a while so alot could have changed. Maybe call the store and ask.

i saw some books at the bottom of the sign that explains all the tickets and add-ons. one of them was the birnbaum book.

maybe it's those??

We always buy our tix at the Disney store, never did get a discount book to come along. We did this recently. Just found it convenient to purchase here, not such a big discount on park prices. :goodvibes All tix prices pretty much wind up about the same. Some places charge shipping fees, taxes, etc.... We just pay and pick them up at the store a few at a time, a couple months before our trip, convenient for our family.

As far as I know, you are just getting the convenience of having your tickets prior to your arrival. I am not aware of any discounts. I've tried. If you are looking for a less exspensive ticket, you can save a few dollars by shopping around on the internet.

Hi there, I recently purchased tickets at the Disney Store and we received a "pamphlet size" discount thing with coupons inside. I was not very impressed with the coupons though, most I would never use.

Hope that answers your question :)

YEs, that's probably what I'm talking about. Was is stuff to use inside that parks? I'm more interested in the dining the the shopping discounts?

Could you detail a bit more?

Thanks,
Rachel
