I agree the agent at the Post Office told me that I saved about $3.60 by using a flat rate box.

I received my package today also....from denishnh, Denise.
It was all wrapped in spring colored tissue paper. Very fun to open.
She included a cute spring card too and a post card of Old Man of the Mountain.

The umbrella is cute. DD is a teacher and she loves bright colors, so I may put it in her Easter basket :)
I do love Yankees and like those scents.

Recieved!! But I am not home....I am at Royal Pacific Resort!! We spent the day at Universal Studios, its our first time here....we usually do Disney for parks. The weather is sunny and coolish so its great for the parks.

First of all I am so sorry for not checking in sooner! I am also sorry because my package went out a day late due to bad weather and me being so busy since I got home from wi. We are moving to va in a week. I recived a very nice package from jean in maryland. Thank you so much!

Thank you and once again I am so sorry I missed the deadline by a day! Usually I am early, but we've been so busy since we got home. We've gone on a dejunking spree. So far we have successfully dejunked part of my room at my rents house(rest of it will be done by tomorrow afternoon), went through all our stuff we had in our apartment once we got it all back to ohio and seriously cut down on stuff. I never realized how much useless stuff we're carrying around :rotfl2: We also cleaned out our closet in his rents basement and got rid of a ton of stuff(either donated or threw away stuff that was junk) and today we conquered our storage unit and did beautifully! Now we have all next week to relax because we are dejunked and all packed for va. Only thing that isn't packed is clothes and we need those. Can't run around naked. :rotfl: Are you getting excited for your trip to see your son?

Glad the package arrived safely, I was really concerned that the package arrive with nothing broken. I really loved those plates when I saw them, so hopefully one day you will get some use out of them. My DH told me that the part of Va you are moving to is a very nice area. aww that is a long time not to see your son! i feel for ya...i miss my family like crazy when I am away from them. Yep we are back to va. We actually got an apartment in fairfax, va, which is right by manassas. All the traffic will be going the opposite way to d.c. and df will be driving to manassas for work so he won't get caught in that traffic. Thanks Jean, I've heard its nice there too, but you telling me your husband saying its a nice area is good reassurance. We just have to wait for them to fed ex our lease to us and then its officially ours and we found someone to marry us! Everthing is starting to pull together. Thank Goodness. I was worried after our guy bailed on us in dec. for our july wedding. :goodvibes

I just got my box from Jenna in CT :banana:

There were lots of great things inside:
- A shower caddy set with a name tag that says "Hello. My name is high maintenance" - really cute. Inside was a toothbrush holder, soap dish, bath pouf, shower gel, body lotion and a cosmetic bag.
- The book "The five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom. This is a book I haven't read but have wanted to! :goodvibes
- A lipstick jungle makeup bag with two lipsticks (great colors), a nightime eye mask and a compact mirror
- An adorable spring colored plaid bag/purse with a bag of makeup/lotion samples inside.

Received a box from Ashley over the weekend. Didn't find a card, but didn't look too hard (reason below). It's amazing what the post office can do to boxes and how selectively they do it. :rotfl:

Ashley sent an Easter kitchen ensemble: potholder, oven mitt and dish towel.
I also received an organizer that includes a calendar, note pad and address book and the following:

double picture frames
1/2 dozen ceramic Easter egg candles (really cute)
lots of post-its in all shapes and sizes, including cute little cupcakes
jelly bellies
snowman soup (hot cocoa mix w/Hershey kisses and peppermint candy cane)
then, a six pack of votives in glass jars (nice scent)

The votives were packed together, wrapped and all, two rows of three, and the post office managed to shatter three of them. :confused3 I had finely ground glass all over the place. I did salvage all six votive candles and three of the holders.

I did not search the package for a note, because of the glass. Thanks very much for all the goodies. The Easter egg candles are my very favorite, plus the post-its (I brought them to work).
