I just use my Canon Powershot SD630. Old, but good. If there's a metal detector I usually have to stick it in my shoe or down my pants (heh...) but I can usually get really good pictures. It's survived tons of festivals (Warped Tour, Bonnaroo, etc.), so it's pretty awesome in my book.

I have a Exilim from Casio. It takes great videos and pics, although I haven't used it much. I used it for the BoBWT concerts and I'll be using it for the LMITE tour too.

But do you really have to sneak in a camera? I just always thought you were aloud to have them. :confused3

it depends on the concert, usually if it dosen't say "no cameras" on the ticket they cnt enforce it. When i went to see Justin Timberlake the grl behind me had a camera in her bag and they wouldn't let her in unless she got rid of it.

Hm, when I went to the American Idol concert, (NERRRRRD) they said nothing about cameras. And when my friends went to FOB, nothing.

What did they expect her to do, throw it away?
I haven't been to enough concerts to actually realize. Although, now that I think about it, when I went and saw NSYNC no one had cameras.

I went to concerts that said no cameras. But than theres others that I wish I took my descent camera.

Maybe it would be smart to call and ask before we go.

You bad girl! :rotfl:
(I would have had my parents do the same. Either that, or hide it somewhere where the bag checker couldn't 'legally' get to it ;)) Hahaha, JK JK.

I don't think I've been into a concert that didn't allow cameras...
I know that like Hilary Duff, and Rihanna had a no camera policy. I didn't go see them, it was written on the venues website.

I'm a pro at sneaking cameras in. Though I don't usually go see bigger name artist that care like the Jonas Brothers or Hilary Duff.

Anyway, I use a Sony Cybershot DSC-T70. When they're strict on cameras I usually put it in my bra and then hang my cell phone on my shirt so that goes off if they use the metal detector.
It takes pretty good pictures.

But when I have a photopass for shows I use my Nikon D50.

It Is Called Illegal For A Reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Divaaaaa
02-21-2008, 03:19 PM
Um, it's not illegal. They're in these situations to be photographed. I guess it could only be technically illegal if you were to sell the pictures and make money off of them without giving the band any press.

Also, a lot of times it is the venue and not the artist. The artist I see couldn't care less, thanks.

lol.

I'm pretty sure there are other issues in the world that need people to attend to them rather than "putting kids in jail" for taking pictures at a concert.
