View Full Version : Express Pass question from someone who thought he knew.

I just looked up Express Passes on the UO website. We've visited in December and November, and they weren't necessary. I am now planning an early June '09 trip (I know, but I'm ill, okay?), so I was looking up the costs, restrictions, etc.
The dates for June 2008 were the 21st and 28th only (Saturdays). I was working under the assumption that Passes were available every day. Is that not true?
Also, in the opinions of the board experts, would an Express Pass not be necessary around June 8? Is that why it isn't offered?
Sorry if this is a dumb topic. I thought I understood the system, but the availability dates messed me up.
Thanks.

It is offered. You just have to scroll down on the page.

Are you scrolling all the way down the ticketing page? The price for Express Pass are broken down by specific days of the week and I think that you may have only been looking at the first branch of these days.
The parks are always more corwded in the summer months so Express in some shape or form is always a good idea. Last summer I was able to get to IOA at opening and make my way around the entire park and hit all the major attractions before 11 am. Then I went back around when lines got longer and used my Express.

The answer that question is a big, fat NO.
I just found out myself, and hoped I could get back here in time for damage control.
Please delete this embarrassment of a thread.:guilty:
Thanks for the crowd info. I was planning on hitting it early without using the EP, then using them when necessary.

This question arises more then you would think. I'm sure it someone else will benefit from it as well.

I can delete it if you wish but really it does come up a lot. Maybe others can read this and realize their mistake.

You won't get lumps here. Maybe a nudge in the ribs, but nothing bad. :p
