Is there a bowling alley or a Chuck E. Cheese-type location near Disneyland? It would need to be somewhere within easy walking distance or accessible by the ART Shuttle. My DH & DS(7) want to save the “Disney stuff” for when I have finished my conference and can do it all with them. They have plans for most of the time, but need to fill a few more hours.

The Block at Orange has a couple of places that might work. There's a Dave & Busters, an upscale bowling alley (I have no idea what that means :) maybe someone else can help out) and a big arcade type place called the Power House (that my son loves because he can play for tickets and it's not as expensive as Dave & Busters).

The Block wouldn't be accessable by ART shuttle, but OCTA busses could get you there. I really don't think there are any in the immediate area.

There is a Chuck-E-Cheese up Harbor Blvd in Fullerton. You could take the OCTA #43 bus up there, and ask to get off at the Orangethorpe stop, next to the In-N-Out Burger. It's in the center behind In-N-Out.

There's also a bowling alley (AMF Carter Bowl) at Lemon St and Orangefair Ave (hey, this is Orange County), which is about 3/4 mile away.

And about halfway between is the Disney Character Warehouse, at Lemon and Orangethorpe.

Sorry if this is a no-brainer type question, but this May will be our first visit to California. :cutie: I am correct in thinking we could take the same bus route and get off at the Orangethorpe stop to get to the Disney Character Warehouse? :flower3:

TIA for any assistance or suggestions you may have for us! :hippie:

You'd cross Orangethorpe and then walk a city block east to Lemon & Orangethorpe. (Note that the Character Warehouse isn't actually run by Disney, so don't be disappointed if it's more warehouse than anything else. http://www.ams-liquidation.com/stores.htm)

There are some good food options in the area - my favorite being Ruby's Diner on the S/W corner of Harbor/Orangethorpe. Also El Torito, Tony Roma's, and In-N-Out besides numerous other fast food places.

Thanks, jlmarr! :thumbsup2

I have always heard good things about In-N-Out and I loved the Tony Roma's in Orlando... seems like we might be heading over that way to dine on several occasions! :yay:
