Okay, before writing this sucker I need to calm myself down. This is one big task! Is anyone else overcome with the thought of writing everything you did on vacation in great detail? I just hope I have the will to finish this. :)

Anyways, here's a little backstory.

We went in September, actually from September 21st to October 6th. Why may you ask did I wait so long to write a report? It's called 'The Disney Blue's'. Yep, after we got back I headed into a WDW depression and even refused to get on the DIS. After a while I slowly rejoined in all the fun political, religious and way too personal discussions. But I was still weary of visiting the trip planning boards, it might cause a downward spiral.

Until one day I was discussing Disney with my parents, and all of a sudden we decided that we should go again! AND buy Annual Passes! All of a sudden I cured and wanted to do all the planning I could. But first things first, I wanted to start a report. A dining review seemed easiest so that's what I started with. Now, I'm having a really good time writing about all our meals I built up the confidence to do one of these. Yes, a Trip Report.

Day 1 - The Day I Walk Over the Hose (Post 2)
Day 2 - The Day I Buy Mickey Crocs (Post 22,23)
Day 3 - The Day We Visit Our Laughin' Place (Post 45,46,60)

Okay, to the good stuff. Let's meet the characters.

Me (Jenny!) - On my dining review there were a few confusions, so let's clear everything up here. I am 15, 16 in two weeks. Soon to be high school graduate (I'm homeschooled and recently finished my last class.) and wonderous teenager. Don't run off yet, we're not all horrible. ;) Anyhoo, I'm definitely a disney lover since 18 months old, but more on that later.

Mom - Grew up in California, smack dab next to Disneyland. Her family visited many many times, of course, what self-respecting person wouldn't? From the stories I've heard, she basically lived at DLR during her childhood. Fun times were made. Stubborn, intelligent and fun loving are just some personality quirks of hers.

Dad - As a former sailor in the navy, he actually was stationed in Florida when Magic Kingdom was just a toddler aka 'not very old'. Oh you'll get used to my humor soon enough. Anyways, he's not very opinionated so he didn't have a say in any of the plans. He does really love being at WDW though!

Hmm, let's see. What's next? Okay, I shall tell you about some past trips to Disney parks. It shouldn't be hard since we've only been 3 times as a family. Well...4.

1993 - I can't remember this trip, but I believe my parents when they tell me I was there. I think I've seen photo proof of it as well. It was at Disneyland, and apparently I just had a blast.

2000 - I was 8 at the time, and so excited to be going to Disney in the millenium! Those of you who were living at the time, remember how big of a deal the year 2000 was. I actually didn't believe my mom when she said we were going, but when I did accept it I was unbelievably excited. We stayed at AsSp for 7 days and had so much fun. It was exciting to discover the Disney magic for the first time.

2001 - Well after that trip we just had to go back! It's called 'Disney addiction', people. This was just a mommy and me trip, my dad had to work. We stayed at AsMu for 10 days and the trip is something I'll cherish forever. I really can't wait until the next time my mom and I take our own little trip together again.

2007 (The trip I'll be discussing here.) - Big gap, eh? Well that's called, Life. These years were big growing years for my family. We bought a house, new cars, and all that good stuff. But our addiction wasn't gone. Oh no, we still surfed the DIS a lot, and priced trips often. Finally we decided on one in June but changed it after free dining came out. You just can't beat free food! (Read my dining report for more on that.) So 9/21-10/06 it was. 15 nights.

Oh how fun planning this trip was. Me and my mom got to plan and learn all the new things that had happened to Disney in that 6 year gap. About 2 months out I became seriously obsessed and just couldn't get it off my mind. I spent hours on the Theme Parks boards everyday just wanting to get everything 'right'. No mistakes wanted, please! To make the time fly by I joined a DIS meet. The GLOW! Party which consisted of a great group of people. I also decided to create my own meet for the 9/30 MNSSHP we had planned. Over the next few weeks DISers slowly trickled in and joined and we had a great time talking. I planned the meet with some help from macraven. I also counted down the days by placing huge black X's all over our calendar!

A couple weeks before, we found out that my Grandma might have to have surgery, but thankfully that all cleared up (well, she actually had to have surgery after we got home anyways.) and the days were flying by. Before I knew it...

The Day I Walk Over the Hose
Flight - 5 PM to 12 AM.

Finally! I thought the day would never come. My mom had to work that morning so me and my dad just finished cleaning up the house and packing the last few things. I DIS'ed a little and even took a nap. My grandma and uncle were going to house-sit for the next two weeks, so when they arrived I knew it was close!

We were getting kind of antsy because my mom was running a little late. Yeah I know, it was 1:30 and our flight didn't leave til 5. But I get anxious very easily! No worries though, she arrived right on time. We packed all our suitcases into the car and off we were. I'm not quite sure why we left so early since the airport is literally only a few blocks away, but we did. We checked in and had all our luggage weighed and put away, then we went outside to sit and say goodbye to my grandma and uncle who had came to see us off.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5c402ab570000003.jpg
Yep, that's my momma. 42 years old and stickin' her tongue out. :p I don't even remember why she was doing it, but who cares!? We were going to Disney!!!

After just talking outside for a while we went back inside to get through security and all that fun stuff. Nobody had any problems, even my dad who was carrying the cameras. It's probably because our airport is incredibly small since we live in the middle of nowhere.

My mom was getting nervous this was her first flight. She had fretted for months about flying, even though she was very interested in the actual act of planes flying. :confused3 Needless to say, she was terrified.

It didn't take long and we saw the plane arriving and they started calling everyone up to board. My mom was literally shaking by this point, and I just tried to calm her down. The plane was absolutely tiny! It had two seats on one side, and just one on the other. My mom insisted I sit next to her so I could hold her hand.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdef23f261ea0000002.jpg

They went through all that hub about seatbelts and exit doors, and next thing we know we're off to the runway!

I closed the window to calm my mom, but honestly I really wanted to see us take off! Just as soon as we started going up my mom relaxed and told me I better open up that window! Of course, we all knew she'd be fine, she just refused to believe us! Anyways, the flight was very uneventful and we were at Dallas in no time.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdef2ddae0f50000002.jpg

I felt like I really was on vacation when we arrived at Dallas, although I'm not sure why. We had no problem finding our way around the airport on their tram (sadly, it didn't remind me of the monorail at all. :() We were at our gate in no time and still had an hour to kill before our flight. My mom decided she wanted to go outside and smoke (yea, my parents smoke. But they were very corteous in always finding the designated spots.) So we had to go out through security to get to the outside.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5c4032a660000004.jpg
Lovely little picture of my mom outside Dallas. Shes putting a thumbs up to her flight experience so far.

Okay, so when we were trying to come back through security we were met with a problem. My dad's ID had broken in half right before we left on vacation. Now our small little airport thought nothing of it but Dallas sure did! Me and my mom went through security but of course my Dad was held up. We're not sure where they took him, but it took a while. We were getting pretty antsy because our flight was coming soon and we still had to find something to eat. Eventually he did come out, and never spoke of the experience. I didn't see any bruises or blood, so I'm guessing his experience wasn't too bad.

We stopped at a little sandwich cafe and got some sandwiches and drinks to eat on the plane. They boarded the flight in no time and it was all very uneventful and boring. I won't waste the details on my wonderful readers' ears. :)

It was very late when we arrived and the airport was literally empty except for our flight. We were going to pick up our own luggage even though we were using ME. We found the luggage area find and thankfully everything was still there! I looked around for the ME person who gave me directions.

After some debating and arguing about which directions we should be taking, we finally arrived at the ME counter. Again, it was totally empty. They lead us through this huge windy queue and finally we reached our bus.

The driver loaded everyone's bags onto the bus and we were off!
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5d2922afc0000002.jpg
My mom talked on the phone while I just rested and watched the little movie. There was this mother with a small toddler and she was saying the cutest things to get him pumped of for being at WDW. It was so sweet to hear all that. I also just looked out the window looking for signs with Mickey on them.

Finally we arrived at POP Century and the driver helped us with our luggage. We tipped him then walked inside to check in. I snapped some pictures while I was waiting in line.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5d3f5eb330000002.jpg

Once we got to the front of the line, everything seemed fine. They didn't have many rooms open so they tried to put us way back in the 90's on the third floor. After a little polite discussion, he said that he could get us in a 50's building in the morning. :goodvibes We had also ordered something from gardengrocer (water, laundry soap, snacks.) and they had a luggage guy follow us out there with everything.

I remember in great detail what it felt like that night. We walked out front towards the parking lot side. The sidewalk was wet and our luggage clonked on the hose that was coiled out front. (Just had to add the details I remember. I'm proud of remembering things!) After winding around and getting lost a bit, we finally found our room. It was behind the big laptop.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5d3426ab40000002.jpg

We unloaded the groceries, tipped the guys and just sat on the bed taking it all in. We grabbed a drink and went outside to sit next to the pool. It was then that I realized I wasn't getting the feel of Disney. I don't know what it was, but I was actually getting kind of sad.

My mom was slowly falling asleep on the bench so everyone went back inside and got ready for bed. My mom pretty much passed out from exhaustion on the bed, and I just sat and watched Stacy and her top 7 Must-Sees.

I fell asleep pretty late, and dreamed about having fun day tomorrow...

Coming up next...A day at DTD and a teaser of Magic Kingdom. Will I finally feel some Disney magic? Or will I be dissapointed in the whole experience? We'll just have to wait and seeee.

I've been enjoying your food reviews, so I'm in for the trip report too.

Curious have you always been homeschooled? My boys are on their second year of homeschooling, they are 4th & 5th graders. My daughter was homeschooled last year, but she wanted to go to public school for middle school this year, she's in 6th grade.

I had got the "Disney Blues" too. My wife's side of the family started talking about doing a Disney Cruise and cured me of the Disney Blues! In short, I know what you are talking about. :thumbsup2 Great report so far! Keep it going!

I guess I don't have to go back to Disney. I can just ead your reviews and relive is again. It would be so much cheaper.

Anyhow, you didn't have to tell how scared I was to fly. btw, I was really scared. what about our flight from Dallas to Orlando, you didn't tell them about the storm we went thru and the turbulance we had. We hopped up and down the whole trip, even the flight attendant had to remain seated.

The Day I Buy Mickey Crocs
Day 2

I woke up in the middle of the night, and tossed and turned. Probably because I wasn't quite used to that bed, or those pillows. I was having bed-seperation issues. Around 5AM I rolled over and contemplated waking everyone up, but decided against it and drifted back to sleep.

It was around 9 o'clock when we were all finally awake and deciding what to do. We had planned to go to MK today but it we had came in so late, and we were so groggy! There was no way we could have a good full day at MK, so we decided to just roam and visit DTD.

After showering and getting dressed (in a lime green shirt, of course.) we packed up everything (we're changing rooms, remember?) and put everything up in the window.

There was rumblings in our tummies to we all went down to the food court to get some grub. I snapped some pictures while parents were taking a smoking break.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdef394f615a0000002.jpg
Colorful. :)

Anyways, we finally went in and ate and walked around the giftshop. See Dining Review for details.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdef4369e0710000002.jpg
Don't I look happy?

After that we had to go to the reception to see how our new room was doing and to activate our DDP. That was fun. ;) Actually we met some DISers in line but they didn't post much as they usually just lurked. We also met some people who used to live in our town, it was really enjoyable talking to everyone. Does anyone else find theirselves much more outgoing at Disney? Like you just want to have a conversation with everyone.

Everything went smooth and they got us a nice room in the 50's building overlooking the lake. It was perfect! :lovestruc

Here's our gorgeous view.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5e5376ada0000002.jpg
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5e48b2afe0000002.jpg
Relaxin'. My parents especially liked that there was a smoking section right in front of our room. But all you non-smokers don't worry, there is plenty of distance between the actual section and the room doors.

Isn't that lake beautiful? The buildings across from it our creepy though. Anyone know when they're going to finish that section of POP?

Anyways, we unpacked and I decorated the windows and doors with
DIS-tastic mickey heads.

That's my cute little sign I had for DISers to drop by and leave a message. By the end of the trip it was jam-packed with signings.

We sat and made a plan of action. My mom had this great idea to go over to the POR and take a boat to DTD. That way we could check out other hotels in the process.

The bus stops weren't crowded at all and the bus to Epcot was a very little wait.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde5fd9ceb4d0000002.jpg
Granted, this was a little after noon, and not at 8 AM or 10 at night.

We were there in no time, and as much as it pained me (instead of going through the Epcot gates) we just popped in the POR line. We talked to a sweet older couple who said the park was completely empty that day.

That bus was just as empty, and in no time we were at the Riverside. I love the decore of this resort, it's just really appealing. I snapped some pictures as we just leisurly walked around.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde50ae7abd50000002.jpg

Anyways, we got on the boat and made our way to DTD. The driver was great and talked about all this Disney trivia and made jokes. By this time my feet were already killing me, I knew it'd be a long two weeks.

When we left the boat DTD didn't seem crowded at all. Sure, their were plenty of people there, but it wasn't mob-worthy. Sadly, I still wasn't feeling the magic. It wasn't the fault of WDW, it was my own. I seemed to be in a bit of a crabby mood.

We toured the shops and such. Didn't buy anything just because it was the first day, we'd have plenty of time to shop. It was fun discovering what I'll the places looked like in real life instead of just pictures on the DIS. We stopped for a bit to have some yummy creme brulee as a snack (my kinda snack!) It was still fun roaming around, even though I was in a bit of a bad mood.

After talking, we decided to head over to the Magic Kingdom to hop on the monorail for our dinner at Chef Mickey's. It was early but we wanted to just ride the monorail around and take a peek at the GF.

Getting there was a tad difficult since the buses were messed up, so we just took the boat to SSR with the intent of getting a bus from there to Magic Kingdom. Confused yet?

Oh how my feet were hurting as we got off the SSR boat! And for those of you who know the resort, it's a longggggggg walk to the bus stop. We stopped in the middle for some refills for our mugs (tsk tsk.) I liked the resort enough, it had a great theming.

The MK bus was pretty full but we still got a nice seat and we were at MK in the blink of an eye. Do you know how hard it is the walk past the Magic Kingdom without going in?!?! Especially for someone who was starving for some magic. I'm surprised I didn't run like a crazy woman through the gates screaming "I'M HOMMEEEEE, MICKEY WHERE ARE YOUUUUU!?" Somehow I managed and we boarded the monorail.

Love love love the monorail btw. It was practically empty so we had the car to ourselves. We un-boarded at GF to just have a look around.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde52e802a900000002.jpg
All the decorations are gorgeous but it might be a bit posh for us. :snooty:

We didn't stay there long and really just browsed the shops, but boy do they have a lotta them!

All of us hopped back on the monorail and just rode around over and over and over...and over again. Finally, it was our ADR time!

Continued in next post....

The Day I Buy Mickey Crocs...cont'd.

I have a love/hate relationship with the Contemporary. I love the decore of the rooms, but the actual hotel part is just way to white and well...contemporary. It needs some life in it!

Chef Mickey's was alright, we celebrated my dad's birthday during it. I finally felt nice and Disney-fied! Mickey seems to do that to me.
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7ce32b3127ccebde520812a9600000026100Abt2jVi4ZuG OA

After we slumped out of their all full and exhausted, we made our way back to POP. There was that GLOW! Party meet we had to attend!

When we arrived we were double as tired and could barely keep our eyes open. The party was at the pool and we had our pretty glow necklaces in our room, but we were just too tired to go get them. We talked with the DISers for around 15 minutes but since we were all about to pass out from exhaustion, we said good-bye and went back to the room.

After throwing on some PJ's every one of us melted into the pillows and were fast asleep. :cloud9:

OH! I almost forgot the most imporant part of this day. After we left the party I realized how much my feet had hurt that day, and I must've had wrong shoes. I walked back down and picked out some crocs, thinking they would really help me. To end this day...I'll leave you with a DIS-worthy picture.

Awesome, Awesome job Jen.
Thank ya very much Allie. I expect double the amount of pictures in yours, missy.
loving the trippie so far!!! I can't wait to read more. Your mickey crocs are so cute. My feet are to big to fit into the disney crocs (i wear a 13 in womens) so I just get the cute little disney jibbits for my regular crocs and it works out equally well. Don't worry your not the only one with disney blues. At least I have the cruise in july to tide me over till dec otherwise I might go bonkers. Lol. :goodvibes :rotfl2:
Aww, thanks Ashley! My feet are actually pretty narrow and little (those crocs are in 'small'), so they slide around a lot in crocs. They were great to wear those one day, a different shoe the next, then the crocs, etc. Alternate them out.

This trip report is what's keeping me from going bonkers! That, and looking forward to the AP we'll be buying. :goodvibes

I just bought lime green paper at WalMart, then cut out little and big mickey heads. I also bought colored contruction paper and made mickey heads out of those.

I bought the halloween window cling ons at WalMart as well.

I printed out a picture of Mickey's head, and traced it over and over again. It was very tedious and I did it over the period of a couple weeks. :)

Great update Jenny! (although I am a bit late though, lol)
I totally agree, it is totally creepy looking over the lake at POP and seeing the unfinished Legendary Years. I really wish they'd start work on them again and finish them up, maybe into family suites. Oh well.

I'm surprised I didn't run like a crazy woman through the gates screaming "I'M HOMMEEEEE, MICKEY WHERE ARE YOUUUUU!?" Somehow I managed and we boarded the monorail.
Hahaa, I'm surprised you didn't too! Try going into Magic Kingdom, getting about half way down Main Street then leaving. :sad2: That was a mean mean tease!

The Day We Visit Our Laughin' Place
Day 3

Everyone was up at about 8 and we all took showers and got dressed.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde8a2f8c0dd0000002.jpg
Good morning!

We were out the door around 9 o'clock and stopped by to foodcourt to get some refills. We contemplated eating breakfast there, but decided to stop by the Main Street bakery instead.

Busses were moderately crowded so we got a seat just fine. It felt like it took FOREVER to get there, probably just because I was so anxious. Finally we were there, we were at Magic Kingdom!!! I even had fun putting my ticket in, getting my finger scanned and going through the turnstiles.

Walking under the trainstation for the first time in 6 years...I can't even describe the feeling. You all know what I'm talking about, it was THAT feeling. Of finally being there, of finally seeing everything again.

We started to ride the train around just for fun, but it was closed so we snapped some pictures instead.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde521856a0a0000002.jpg

:lovestruc

I went to visit around the hat shop while my parents stopped for a little smoking break. I wanted to buy some of those wobbly mickey ears, but they didn't look so good on me.

Slowly we strolled in and out of the shops until we finally arrived at Main Street Bakery. It was a bit crowded, but we thought a french toast loaf was worth the wait.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde8b96380d30000002.jpg
Picture of the round drink stand. We had a hard time finding a table but eventually we got a pretty good one and just sat enjoying breakfast and the view of Main Street.

After that I was getting antsy so we walked pretty quickly up MainStreet, but stopped to take a few pictures.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde8b6dcc0f30000002.jpg
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde52737eb8b0000002.jpg
My mom suggested we walk under the castle instead of around it, but it was closed for some reason. So we walked up the little path to the left side. So gorgeous.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde539056a860000002.jpg

I have this memory of the end of the path to Fantasyland from when I was a child. So finally being there was heartwarming. Also we had a picture of Tinkerbell Treasures as our desktop picture for months, so seeing it in person was so great.

We rode the first thing we saw, Snow White Scary Adventures (5 minute wait). It's great but pretty dark and sometimes jerky. After getting off that, it was like a mind seperation thing. Does anyone else get it? Like when you ride the very first ride of your trip, you're not quite in the flow of things yet, so it's a little weird.

Anyways, we also went on Winnie the Pooh (5 minute wait) which was absolutely wonderful and so cute. I was 8 years old again.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde8cc4c416e0000002.jpg
(Sorry my shirt's big, it was new and sort of weird.)

After stopping to get some ice near Ariel's Grotto thing, we went to get some fastpasses to Peter Pan. Right after getting them we realized that the line was incredibly short so we just walked on and planned to use the FP's later (never happened). I love love love this ride now, it does feel like your flying.

We stopped by IASW, my mom's favorite ride ever. What can one say about this? It's just cute, cute, cute.

We walked through the little path after IASW headed to the Haunted Mansion. It said 25 minute wait so that was very reasonable, but we actually didn't wait more than 5 minutes. It was GREAT. This has gotta be one of my favorite rides ever, I can't wait to ride it again. You know how in one of the rooms the lights go out and when they come back on the guy is standing behind you ready to open the door? Anyways, the guy was behind me. Scared the crap out of me! I actually screamed a little.

Well wasn't that fun? Now let's head to Fronteirland. Last time I was there I was a huge chicken so I was so excited to ride the mountains, especially Splash. Well we strolled around a little bit before getting to Splash to see what the time was. It was only 20 minutes so my dad and I decided to go on it. (My mom's too chicken.)

I was soooo nervous, my stomach was in knots. Excited, but nervous. It was no time before we boarded (ugh, the seat was wet.) The actual ride is incredibly cute but I couldn't enjoy it because I knew about the drops. Everytime we started going up, I'd hang on really tight because I though that was the "big one". After the big one actually happened, I was hoping for more drops! I was in love, and could've ridden that thing all day.

When we came out my mom had found a cute little corner spot to just sit and rest, so she had no qualms with us going on BTMRR. I wasn't as nervous because I knew I loved thrills, but of course I was still a bit nervous. The line was short (gawd, that queue is HUGE.) and we were on in know time. Again, one of my favorite rides definitely! It was love at first ride.

Continued in next post....

The Day We Visit Our Laughin' Place

After that we contemplated buying some yummy lunch at Pecos Bills, but it was packed so we decided to go back to the hotel for a rest instead. It was hard making our way out of the park, but I knew I'd be back many times, so no big deal.

Nobody was in line for the busses, and our bus had maybe...5 people on it? When we got back to the hotel we ate some lunch and went back to the room to nap. Before napping I called to get ADR's some place for dinner as we had decided to miss our lunch for 'Ohanas. I got a nice dinner time for Nine Dragon's.

After napping we all headed out to Epcot. By the time we got there, it had started to rain and we were getting to be pretty miserable. We were still tired, and now wet.

We strolled around Innoventions and played this cute house fire game. Where you run around the house picking out things that are a fire hazard.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde80664c0130000002.jpg
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde80de4013e0000002.jpg

We decided to go watch Honey I Shrunk the Audience, but as we were getting in line I had to use the bathroom, so all left. After the bathroom we went up into the figment ride because nobody was in line.

I know a lot of people hate it, but I thought it was absolutely adorable and very fun. We decided to skip HISTA when we got out because by then the line was really long.

We strolled around and went into the Seas with Nemo and Friends.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde8f8f3c0fb0000002.jpg
I love that ride! It's very cool. The inside of the building looks fun, but we didn't really look around or go into Turtle Talk.

After that we were getting a bit hungry and quite tired so we decided to make our way towards China. Walking around in the open spaces was fun, especially when it was pouring outside. ;)

Our ADR wasn't until later but Nine Dragons took us early with no problem.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde8087bc00b0000-1.jpg
Dinner was great, and after that we decided we would just go back to Magic Kingdom for late EMH.

I'll update with that part of our day later, maybe tomorrow. :)

The Day We Visit Our Laughin' Place

When we arrived back at MK around an hour before official closing, and headed to Tomorrowland. Some of those most clear memories I have of our trips in 2000, and 2001 are in Tomorrowland. So I was really excited to see it again.

Instantly when walking in, I knew Tomorrowland was going to be my favorite place in all of the 'world'. Anyone else feel that it just epitimizes Disney? It's that vintage feel of what our future is supposed to be. Oy, it's just great.

Anyways, we rode the People Mover (yes, People Mover. Not TTA) one of the attractions I was most looking forward too. I just magic, just very Disney. We rode that 2 more times and watched the park slowly clear out. I could've ridden it more but my mom wanted to get off. We also ran into CoP just before they were closing the doors. How does one explain the feeling of this ride? It was like Walt was right there in the ride with us. :goodvibes

We slowly made our way towards the Speedway while it was getting dark, and when we arrived Wishes started. We stood by the entrance to the speedway with a few other people just watching the show. Granted, it's not the best view, but it wasn't too bad. Even from that view it was the best firework show I've seen...since I can remember.

Nobody was in line so we ran and got into 3 cars. Yeah it's loud, and kinda bumpy...and a bit jerky. But hey, you can't just NOT ride them. While we rode we watched Wishes finish. Made for a bit of a dizzy experience, trying to stare at the sky while driving a car. But we managed. :)

After that we just wondered around doing nothing in particular, and came upon the Haunted Mansion again. We took that for a second go around, but when we came out the exhaustion hit full force. We debated about pushing ourselves, but finally came to the realization that we were just toooo tired.

The bus stops were empty of course, we were back in the room in no time. Changed into our PJ's and drifted off into magical Mickey dreams.

Coming up next...The Day We Visit Hawaii, Disney World Version.

I love all the pictures! Makes me miss WDW even more! We're holding out until DS is a little older to switch over from DL to WDW, but I still miss it!

We stayed at Pop our last trip, and I thought the decor was so much fun. We stayed in the 90's and we kept commenting on how much we loved all the music...eventually we realized that it was because it was the top hits from the 90's and that's when we were teenagers! Oh well.

CoP is one of my favorite rides. And I too love the "future" feel of tomorrowland, it's kind of like watching the Jetsons...what everyone thought the future would be like, but apparently it will not be.

I look forward to reading more!

The Day We Visit Hawaii, Disney World Version
Day 4 Part 1

We couldn't help ourselves, we had to go back to MK today. It happened to be my favorite park after all.

We woke up pretty late (would become a common occurence) showered, got dressed, all that fun stuff. I called and made an ADR at Kona for around 3. Went out to the busses. Since it wasn't super early, or super late, they were pretty quiet and empty.

We were there and under the train station in no time. This time the station was open and we decided to hop on and ride back to Fronteirland.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde8133b01ee0000003.jpg
I snapped some pictures while up there. That was the most crowded it looked the whole trip.

Let's just say I was a tad...annoyed with my daddy. I didn't really mean to do that though, I'm not a parent abuser. :rotfl:

As we were walking off the station I saw this women. She was walking with her husband/boyfriend and had a long skirt on and these...shoes. (If you can call them that. )

And they obviously hurt because she had those green bandaids on! Wear proper shoes, people!

While we were back there in Fronteirland me and my dad rode Splash and Big Thunder. By this time we were getting a little hungry but our favorite CS was still closed (Pecos Bills.) I went to use the bathroom while my parents waited outside for the restaurant to open.

When I was gone the cute little Toy Story parade came by.

We wobbled out of there after filling up chicken wraps and fries and started to head to Fantasyland. But first, we took some pictures with these...monkeys.

Cute, yes? I think so.

We stopped and watched Philharmagic. It was the cutest thing ever! In my opinion, the best 3D show at 'the world'.

My mom wanted to see the Hall of Presidents, and I needed a rest so we made our way over there. But first, my mom had to use the bathroom AGAIN so we took this while we were over there.

My dad's sad cause we're going to the Hall of Presidents. ;)

FINALLY, we got there and nobody was in there so we chatted with the CM. It went something like this.

"Where are you guys from?"
"Arkansas."
"Did you know that's the only state mentioned in the bible? Yeah. 'Noah got off the ark and saw....' *hilarious laughter*"
"Heh. Heh. Funny..."

We had to take his picture cause I knew y'all DISers would love it!

The show was alright. Not as boring as I expected, but still not the most thrilling thing to go through. The animatronics look pretty realistic though.

After all the hard work we were getting kinda hungry again. So we left the park and made our way to the Poly.

The Day We Visit Hawaii, Disney World Version
Day 3 Part 1

The Day We Visit Hawaii, Disney Style
Day 4 Part 2

We hopped on the boat to ride over to the Polynesian. We got there pretty quickly and made our way towards Kona. The beach here is so beautiful, I love everything about this resort.

Our lunch was fantastic, and our waiter (Angela) was the sweetest thing ever! And can I just say 4 words. Chocolate Macadamia Nut Tarte. :cloud9:

Well after that we roamed around the resort a little more and decided to go back to Magic Kingdom. This time we took the monorail.

I snapped some pictures as we were entering.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/00jpg.jpg
Just so you guys could see how it was, crowd-wise.

Anyway, we popped up to the train station and decided to go stop at Toon Town and visit Mickey's House. Even though we're all practically adults, we still love Toon Town.

Where's Pluto? :(

Then we made our way around and ended up at that huge store (my mind is boggled right now as to the name.) where I wanted to pick up some postcards (for the pay it forward thread) and some antenna toppers for my family. We found the cutest Tinker Belle and Grumpy ones. I did come across come cute postcards but didn't buy them then as I had plenty of time to send them.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde921fe217e0000002.jpg
Meet my friends, Mick and Minn.

In this process we lost my dad. He might've went to the bathroom, he might've wondered off to people watch, or he might've went to go invite Mickey to a birthday party. I'm still not sure, but we finally found him.

After all that fun...I'm not actually quite sure where we went. I'm almost 90% sure we made our way down the path and ended up in Tomorrowland. Because I sort of remember this was the first time I rode Space Mountain. Never the less, I LOVED it but my dad didn't feel the same. We said it was jerky and made his back hurt. I think it's most jerky in the very very back, because I was in the middle and was just fine. LOVE this ride. If you haven't ridden it yet, go do it now. Even if you're scared, because hey, you only live once.

We were all very tired after this so we decided to just leave and get to bed early. The bus stops were mostly empty, as usual, and we were home in no time.

After getting back to the room (and me changing into comfier shoes) me and my mom decided to go have a late dinner and check on some missing gardengrocer things. I'm not sure if I've told ya, but we had been missing some soda from our order and gardengrocer apologized and promised to send us it right away.

My mom snapped some pictures of the decorations while we were up in the lobby.

Actually she took a picture of every single thing in that lobby, I only posted a few so I would bore you guys. Speaking of boredom, here's me after my mom took 20 minutes snapping pics.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdeaf8b980290000003.jpg
Mmmm, back in my nice comfy flip flops. (Yes people, my feet are weird. They were very comfy in those cheapo Old Navy flip flops.)

Anyways, we got that whole debacle straightened out and went to get some grub. Oh boy are those POP sundaes delicious and HUGE. Try not to faint when they bring it out to you.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebde94e42e05d0000002.jpg
There must have been an alligator in the pool for it to be THAT empty.

Anyways, I'm not sure about the others in my family, but I was conked out seconds after hitting the pillow. What a wonderful day it had been.

The Day We Betray Mickey Mouse
Day 5 Part 1

Okay okay, I'll stop teasing you. Today we traded Mickey for Shamu. Fantasmic for Believe. Yep, Disney World for Sea World.

Don't hit me! It was all my mom's idea, I swear!

Enough of that, we woke up early, took showers, got dressed, stared in the mirror and chanted.... I'm getting off topic again. How about a picture of your majesty to get ourselves back on track.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdea3d0c41560000003.jpg
Good morning, DIS!

Before we left for Disney we bought the cutest DIS shirts. I don't think I actually wore it because the fabric is kinda thick but my dad loved them.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdea4a6880a10000003.jpg
DIS Sweet, DIS.

So we walked down to the front and checked to see if there were any cabs. Sure enough, there was one waiting. He was a really sweet Hispanic guy who listened to his iPod the whole trip. It weirded me out a bit but he drove fine. It was around 20 bucks, not too bad.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdea407780bb0000002.jpg

We had printed our tickets out of our crappy printer and we weren't sure they'd work but they actually went through fine. SeaWorld is...different than Disney. Not sure how to explain it but it's just such a different feeling park. While my mom went to the bathroom I snapped some pictures...
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdea58ab806b0000002.jpg
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdea57dcc0830000002.jpg

We just walked around a bit trying to get situated. Y'all know what I mean. Just mosied around doing nothing in particular. I was already hot, tired and had aching feet. :(

Finally we decided to go watch Blue Horizons. A show with dolphins and such. To get there you have to walk up a fairly steep hill. Oy oy oy, my feet were HURTING! It was nice to sit down then I saw that gorgeous water and realized how hot I was.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdea6d3fc07d0000002.jpg
It's just looks so blue, cold and wet.

After fighting the urge to run in there and jump in, I decided to take a picture of the crowded stadium.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdea687a01920000002.jpg

Finally the show started and I was a tad confused at first because I wasn't understanding the storyline. There was some girl in a bedroom wishing she was a dolphin trainer? Made even more confusing when people started jumping off the high rises and swinging around like monkeys.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdebb896215a0000002.jpg

The whole time all I could thing about was the beautiful water. I should mention it was HOT that day, sunny and didn't rain a drop.

After that interesting show we walked practically back up to the front of the park before deciding we wanted to see the dolphins which was located right next to the show!

While walking we found this stand selling drinks and we were thirsty so we bought their cute little SW refillable cups.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde641788b230000-1.jpg

Wanna know something funny? Once we got back to the dolphin area is was...closed! Funny, huh? Didn't think so.

Then we noticed a stingray lagoon and went over there to check it out. This sweet older lady showed us how to pet them and at first I was hesitant but my mom was loving it! So I decided to join in. Those little stingrays were so friendly they reminded me of my pets. Their texture threw me off a little, it was like wet cantaloupe.

After that we just strolled around looking at the different aquariams and reserves. We saw a humongous turtle, penguins and seals.

By this time we were famished and the closest restaurant was some health food stuff but all the other places were way far off. Once I got in there I knew I would enjoy the food anyways (meaning there were more than ricecakes for lunch) and got some sandwiches and pasta salad.

While eating we decided what to do for the second half of our day...

Coming up next...Day 5 Part 2. You won't be dissapointed!

I totally get what you mean. SeaWorld isn't Disney at all. Not that's its bad or anything, just when you spoil yourself with days of Disney parks and then go to SeaWorld, I seem lost and out of the Disney mood.
So did you like Blue Horizons? Personally, I love it. It's just so incredible how they can train the dolphins to be so graceful like that. It really makes me think about going into a career with sea life.

Eagerly awaiting the next update... Wondering what you did that's so darn exciting! Ohhh. Maybe, just maybe, you rode Kraken...

Hmm, I liked it okay. The whole storyline was a little off, but the stunts were cool. You're right, I think it makes everyone want to be a dolphin trainer!

Exactly! I see it as a 'once every 5-6 years' or so type of place. Not that I didn't like it, because I did and had fun. It's just very different. It didn't seem as worth it to walk around with blistered toes in the hot September heat as Disney does to me.

Ok, 2 comments on your TR:

1) Well written! I hate to say this, but many TRs I've read by people your age are poorly written, the grammar is bad, I could go on, but I won't. I think this is a testament to your education. (Go Mom! Or Dad, whoever home schooled you.)

2) It's distracting me from MY homework. Yes, this twenty-(something closer to 30 than I care to admit thankyouverymuch) still has homework because she decided to go back to school. Again.

The Day We Betray Mickey
Day 5 Part 2

So after spilling over the maps at lunch we decided we'd go visit some more aquariams, shows and the kiddie part of the park. Some how while walking to some different tanks we ran into those sting rays again! Of course, we had to pet them. Gosh, those things are cute.

Then we looked at the map and saw there was an animal show that was going to play soon so we headed over to that theatre. We got a pretty good seat because the place was practically empty and just watched it fill up. About 10 minutes before the show started we noticed a guy in a striped black and white shirt. It was a MIME! He was hilarious, and we playfully mocked people as they came in the door. Highly entertaining stuff. I wish I could remember it all exactly but I can't. My stomach hurt so badly from laughing!

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdeb3c6c21e20000-1.jpg
See, mocking.

Eventually everyone got in and they started the show. It was dogs, cat, ducks and all kinds of pets doing tricks. Who knew they could train a kitty cat? I have the show on video but I don't think I can put it on the internet. You'll just have to take my word for it, 'twas super cute.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdeb4daa61840000-1.jpg
My mom loves pigs so she got a kick out of the end of the show!

They had the pets up on the front of the stage so you could pet them but the lines were pretty long so I skipped it. It was nice to see them though as I was kinda missing my own pets. :sad1:

After that we finally made it over to see some different water animals. I distinctly remember some penguins, they were adorable!

We stumbled upon some artic show/ride/walk-through thing so we decided to give it a chance. On one side you can do the helicopter version, and on the other you can just walk-through it. The helicopter thing had a back warning (my mom has not such a great back) so we just did a walk through. They show you a movie about artic wildlife and then you walk through the exhibit. The first room is filled with snow (very refreshing) but I didn't really 'get' it and the second room has some big...fish things. I'm sorry, my mind is blank and I can't remember what they're called. Guess that diploma isn't doing me very good, huh?

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdeb00da214a0000-1.jpg

The next room had a polar bear in it, but sadly the poor thing was hiding from everyone. I kinda felt sorry for it. And that was it! Pointless, IMO except for the snow room.

We decided to walk through the childrens section that had little rides and such in it. It was semi-tempting to get on that little bitty coaster but I passed. Everything was colorful and all the kids were having a blast.

Now we needed a break so we found a little corner spot with benches and lots of shade to just sit and rest in. Here's me trying to be all artistic. :p

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdebf54e613c0000-2.jpg

While walking around we happened upon some street performers. These guys were hysterical! They're supposed to be janitors and they're messing around with garbage and stuff, and little things of garbage keeping popping out of the trash can. Some other things happened too, they were highly-entertaining. They kind reminded me of that guy from Scooby-Doo, ya know, the chicken? Scooby's best friend. His name escapes me.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebdeb522121980000002.jpg

I was getting a little famished so we decided to stop by a restaurant and grab some fries while we waited for the Shamu show to start. We had decided to go to the last showing which ended after the park had closed.

When I sat down with my food a flock of those big white appeared out of nowhere and gave me those eyes. I just couldn't help but feed them! :guilty: But they were sweet and very polite. One thing I noticed was that these same birds at Sea World seemed dirtier than the ones at WDW. Hm, I wonder why.

Anyways I sat there while my parents roamed off and just waited for the show time. I noticed a line forming near the theatre.

Eventually we all decided to go walk to the stadium. You have to walk over this bridge to get into the theatre and I noticed these big flamingo boats. Looks like they would've been fun. I once again had to fight the urge to jump into the lake, the water was so clean and bright looking!

The stadium was pretty full by the time we got there but we spotted a nice seat in the upper right section. Perfect.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd94dee241d60000002.jpg

Oddly, I noticed this one trainer off to the side. She didn't look good at all and her friends were bringing her drinks. She was just sitting there looking ill. I felt bad for her, I hope they didn't make her perform.

Anyway, there's not much to say about this show except it's really corny. Basically there's this boy who dreams of being a whale trainer and carves this little whale fine necklace. They show all kinds of cheesy clips and such. Then you see this guy, a trainer, who's supposedly the kid in the video. They pick an audience (child) member and ask them what they want to be when they grow up. Our little guy said he wanted to play football. Then they take the kid down there to pet Shamu and the trainer presents the boy with a carved whale fin necklace. With the premise of 'you can do anything if you just Believe'. I rolled my eyes a lot, mainly at the necklace thing. Like a future football played really cares about some whale fin necklace. :confused3 Anyways, that's the storyline.

They have these big screens that moved A LOT during the show. They just couldn't stay still. It actually got a bit annoying at the end just because they were constantly moving.

Other than the cheesy storyline they did a whole bunch of tricks with some baby Shamus.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd94f6ca41ea0000002.jpg

And some other really adorable tricks with Shamu. Gosh, he/she was HUGE.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd9418af41f80000002.jpg
I love that his fin is flopped over. Kinda gives him some attitude, dontcha think?

I probably wouldn't waste my time on this show again as I really didn't enjoy it at all. And by this time my feet were hurting really badly, I was hot and just sorta cranky all over.

Continued in next post...

I knew getting out of the stadium was going to be...tricky, shall we say? Wow wow wow. The park was pretty empty all day but you could really tell how many people had been there that day after this show. The worst thing was is that it bottlenecked at the bridge and there was no movement for a few minutes. I was actually a little frightened to be ran over! Sea World really needs to find a better system for letting out this stadium.

Anyways when we finally made it back to the front of the park my dad had to use the bathroom. He came out with this petrified look on his face and said it was flooded. I'll let you fill in the...details of that.

We had a dinner ADR at Raglan Road so we had our cab take us to Pleasure Island. This driver took the long way around and was very quiet, but whatever, we had no other way of getting home. He pulled right up to the entrance, we paid him and got out. It seriously seemed like only a few steps to Raglan Road. My mom checked us in while I mosied around the reception area. I saw a stroller with a DIS shirt on it and my heart fluttered! I wonder who was there that night? It was September 25th, btw.

Anyway they got us seated in no time and the food was all delicious except my appetizer (but that's all explained in my dining review.) The service was pretty good but it was very busy also. The only bad thing was there was some really annoying 12-13 years old sitting on the same bench seat as us (different table of course.) They kept jumping up and down and up and down on their seats and because they were cushioned it made me go up and down and up and down too. They were also very loud, but maybe it's just because they were excited about being at Disney.

We didn't roam around DTD afterwards because we were just so incredibly tired. We hopped on the first available bus and got right back home. We didn't waste anytime getting back to our room. I changed into my pajamas and my parents went outside to smoke. I curled up in the bed, turned Stacy's top 7 on and fell asleep almost immediately.

Coming up next...The Day that Sounds Dangerous.

I love that his fin is flopped over. Kinda gives him some attitude, dontcha think?

It's actually a result of captivity that makes the fin flip over....I got this info from Wikipedia...Great TR by the way...I've been lurking here as well as on your dining report

Most male captive Orcas, and some females, have collapsed (droopy) dorsal fins. Several theories exist as to why this happens. A dorsal fin is held erect by collagen, or compressed lipid cells. The collagen normally hardens in late adolescence.

One theory is that in deep ocean waters, the pressure the water exerts on the fin allows it to remain supported while the collagen hardens. In captivity, however, shallow tanks lack sufficient water pressure to produce this effect, and the fin collapses before the collagen solidifies.[36] According to another theory, the Orca is almost always in a state of turning in a tank, since it is not large enough to allow swimming in one direction for any normal duration. The constant turning exerts pressure on the dorsal fin, which in turn causes it to collapse.[37]

Other possible explanations include alterations in water balance caused by the stresses of captivity or dietary changes, lowered blood pressure due to reduced activity patterns, or overheating of the collagen brought on by greater exposure of the fin to the ambient air.[38]

In the wild, dorsal fin collapse is rare, and the deformity is believed to have a different set of causes than in captivity. In wild Orcas, it usually results from a serious injury to the fin. After the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill, the dorsal fins of two male resident Orcas who had been exposed to the oil collapsed, and the animals subsequently died. In 2002, the dorsal fin of a stranded Orca showed signs of collapse after three days, but regained its natural upright appearance as soon as it resumed strong normal swimming upon release.[38]

in regards to the fins:

the curled fin is a natural variation, it happens in the wild as well, more often in those that live in warmer waters (my best friend is studying marine bio at university, and i checcked it with her.). It is not a direct result of captivity otherwise all orcas in captivity would have a curled fin, rather it is a result of collagen and the relative warmth of the water, especially in places like Florida which are very warm compared to orcas natural haitats, it isn't harmful to them however, kind of more like the difference between brown hair and blond hair or brown hair tht gets sun bleached from being out in the sun all the time

to add to my post above for a minute, wikipedia is not usually considered a credible source of information by universities etc,as it can be editied by anyone with any agenda without the facts being confirmed. its a great starting pint but don't believe everything uit says as gospel, rather use it as a jumping off point for further research

So guess what guys? I got a job interview! Approximately 3 weeks after I turned 16 and I finally have an interview. It's tomorrow at 9:30 am, so I'll probably update tonight to calm my nerves.

If I do get the job though, I promise I won't forget about this report! I'll do it during the times I have off and I'm not sleeping. It's only part-time so I'll still have time to do other stuff.

(The DIS is messed up for me right now. I'll add in the fonts and bolds later.)

The Day that Sounds Dangerous
Day 6 Part 1

(I'm sorry, but this will be really short. I'm exhausted.)We woke up late! Ahhh. Usually we're very laid back, and don't care when we wake up. But we woke up later than usual today and had to meet our early lunch ADR at Sci Fi. We showered and got dressed as fast as possible and rushed onto the busses.

It wasn't busy at all when we got there, I was actually surprised at how empty it was. That would change soon, but for right then, it was empty. After a little direction snafu, we finally figured out the way to Sci Fi but still got there a little late. Basically nobody was there so they had no problem accepting us.

Overall we were thoroughly dissapointed but the atmosphere was so amazing that it's tempting us to go back. After sauntering out there very crabby from the experience we decided we should make the showing of Lights, Motors, Action.

It was a little bit of a wait, no big deal though. When they opened the gates to go in we found out how crowded it really was at the park that day! WOAH. WOAH. WOAH. I was very surprised at how many people, basically, appeared out of nowhere. To top it all off, it started raining. Rain. Loads of people. Bad lunch experience. Well, it does not equal a very happy Jenny at all.

We found a seat near the very top and plopped down, waiting for the show. It took a lot longer than we thought and my mom's back started to hurt so she left. So now I was worried about my momma. Well it finally started and it was not worth it at all. I could talk for days on how awful this show is, but I won't. Essentially they do all these really interesting and cool stunts, then freeze it all and show us how they did it.

Totally ruined the best part of the show, because it's always fun to not know how they do it. The way they advertise this show it looks like it's a really cool stunt show with cars and fire, etc. I've never heard a mention of how they ruin it all. I was not expecting it at all and was very dissapointed.
http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde797802acc0000002.jpg
The fire at the end was incredibly uncomfortable also, but I digress.

We finally got out of the stadium and I found my Mom sitting on a bench, people watching. I'm sure her show was a lot more entertaining. I plopped on the wet bench next to her and we planned out what to do next.

We decided to roam around a little bit and then go see the Muppet show. We wanted to look for some Ms.Piggy items and just soak in the atmosphere.

Okay, I know that was such a tease but I can't keep my eyes open any longer. I promise to update with the rest of the day later this weekend. Probably not tomorrow because I'm going shopping for work clothes, but maybe Sunday. Love you all! I'm going to go pass out in the bed now. Sleep well everyone. :)

The Day that Sounds Dangerous
Day 6 Part 2

[LEFT]So while sitting there contemplating our next move we met some strangers. These strangers had just told us what a great time they had at the Muppet show. So there it was. Fate! We decided to head to the Muppet show.

...Pit stop first. My mom just lovessss all things piggy so of course she couldn't pass the chance to snatch up a Ms.Piggy picture or such. Before sauntering into the gift shop I snapped this picture.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd9440aec0e50000002.jpg
My mom adored the billboard.

No luck. Not in there anyways. The cashier said Ms. Piggy was most popular and they had sold out of all of those souveneirs. But she did tell us that the various shops at MGM might have something of interest to us.

Well, we shook that setback off. Time for some Muppppets!

The wait said about 10 minutes but we were in watching the pre-show in absolutely no time. It was cute, but I really want the 3-D stuff! Anyways, my mom tried to take a picture of my with my funky glasses. This happened every single time she tried to take pictures of us with these 3-D glasses. :confused3

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd945b70019e0000002.jpg
Noseeeeee.

When the doors opened we used that ol' DIS trick. Ya know the one. You let some people go ahead of you, THEN you go into the theatre. You end up perfectly in the middle. On another note, why don't people scoot all the way down? I thought adults didn't believe in cooties.

The show was great, but I couldn't help but compare it to PhilharMagic. Mickey's show is sooo much better, probably because it's newer. Enjoyable still, just didn't have the wow factor.

On to sight see! Isn't it amazing that you can be in Florida and San Fran during the same exact time? I love that set, it's so very realistic if you look at it far away. Here's my mom leaning on some San Fran trash cans, but standing on Orlando ground.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd94432980fb0000002.jpg

Here's the other one.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd97009b21140000002.jpg

Shall we take a picture with 'The Umbrella'? Yes, I think so.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd9437b4016c0000003.jpg

Spectacular. Now off to 'dun dun dun DUNNNNN' Sounds Dangerous. I know most of you are cringing right now, but we actually LIKE this show. Sure it cheesy, sure it's a little tacky. But we still think it's cute and funny.

There was nobody else really in line except for 5 or so people. Predictable. The guy who did the intro wasn't very Disney at all, he was very sarcastic and just...not funny. The show in itself was adorable, and a great way to get out of the heat. I'm not sure I'll look at it the same way now, since Drew Carry ruined the Price is Right. ;)

Backlot Tour anyone? Climb on aboard and please keep all arms and legs inside of the vehicle at all times.

Ehhhhh, the show was. Kinda boring. When they used to have the houses it was 100% better. I can't believe they replaced it with that thing they call a 'show' aka Lights, Motors, Actions.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce35b3127ccebd97f331e06f0000002.jpg

It's just not much anymore. Not impressive. BUT, one good thing did come out of it. The Giftshop.

Inside we found 2 Ms. Piggy thingies and an adorable brown messenger bag. I was so excited to buy that bag. Little did I know that 2 months after I got it home the strap would break. Lovely. I'm not bitter, really.

Plop. We ran into the much loved Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen. My dad ADORES this movie. He's watched it 30+ times I swear. Woot woot, he was super excited to see them there.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde7a18aabed0000002.jpg

Then we took a stroll down to the Great Movie ride. Man, when I was a child I was TERRIFIED of the shoot out scenes. I thought they were 100% real.

But still, I love this ride. I don't care how corny the 'gangster' part is. That feeling I get as I go through the Wizard of Oz scene or when I hum 'Singing in the Rain' to myself. It's a spectacular kind of feeling.

It's time for a breakkkkk. I've been walking all day long on these pink Mickey crocs. Can't a girl sit on one of these rain soaked benches without being disturbed? I snapped some pictures but my camera was on the wrong setting and the came out all black and white.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde7a5b8abdd0000002.jpg

I was so exhausted. What a long day it had been, and I was just worn out. But alas, we had dinner reservations at 50's Prime Time. So...let's go have some time with the Cousins.

When we walked there it was absolutely PACKED. Shoulder to shoulder kinda packed. Ugh, we went back and forth as to whether to stay or eat later and decided to just leave and eat the the food court. I snapped some more piccietures as we were leaving.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c205/Lambchop452/disney/47b7ce32b3127ccebde7bf69ab010000002.jpg

The busses were not full at all and we got home rathar quickly. Honestly I don't remember much about after we got home. I know we stuffed some food in our mouths and I think my dad did some laundry. But I'm 100% sure I fell asleep pretty early and didn't open my eyelids until 9 AM the next morning. But that's a whole 'nother chapter. We'll get to that later on.

Coming up next...The Day that I Meet an Eeyore Fan.

The Day I Meet an Eeyore Fan
Day 7 Part 1

Goooood morning! And morning it was. We woke up pretty early and decided to hit EMH at Magic Kingdom. We knew it'd be pretty empty since today was the first day of the F&W festival. Shower? Check. Get dressed? Check. Eat breakfast? Check. Arrive at MK? Checkaroonie.

As we though, it was practically deserted. After strolling down Mainstreet we turned right towards my very favorite spot in the entire world. Tomorrowland. But not before snapping some pictures of Tomorrowland Terrace. This is an AMAZING place to watch fireworks!

I'll have some free time this week so I'll try really hard to get an update.

Please don't be frusterated with me (I would be, lol.) I'm really trying to just suck it up and write this thing.

You guys are all such sweeties, thanks for stickin' with me.

You can do it:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Hi guys, I'm sorry. I'm just going to have to drop this report for right now. I have a million stresses it seems, and it's not fair to lead you guys on. If/when I decide to start it, I'll be in it 100%.

If you have any specific questions about my trip, or just feel like chattin', please PM me! :) Thanks again.
