Hi, folks. I have two questions, and I'm sure that someone here knows the answers! Thanks in advance.

1. Does anyone have any information about the teacher/nurse rates for summer 2003? Educated guesses?

2. Someone posted about requesting a double-balcony room. I looked at the front view pictures of the hotel, and I'm confused. Would these rooms be on the four smallish wings that jut out toward the Swan? Are they sort of curved? I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right places. Do these face Epcot (thinking Illuminations view), and how many floors are there in this section? I know I'm being very picky, but if I'm gonna pay for it, I want to know what I'm getting!

Again, thanks to anyone who can give me a hand with these questions!

The Teacher's Rate seems to have been $129 for a standard view for some time now and that's what I'm paying in Nov. 2002. I'd expect that to hold until mid 2003 unless the economy goes through the roof and WDW starts selling out. Since this will be my first stay at Dolphin I'll be interested in the answer to your other questions myself.

The double balcony rooms are the ones on the ends of the wings that face the Swan. The curved part is one balcony and then the other balcony faces out, for example, towards epcot. But, not all rooms with the curved balcony has the other balcony.

I am taking an educated guess here, I think that the orice will not increase to more than $20 more a night. I would think somewhere below that amount. The 2033 rates would come out in the next few months or so, and I will post them in the S/D Faq located on this board. You can get to it by clicking on the link under the DIS CON clipart below.

You can only get the double balcony on at the Dolphin. There are very few of these room that give you the elusive Epcot view without anything blocking the view. They are located at the end of each wing of the Dolphin.
